DEFINITIONS
Whenever used, the following items identify safety and property damage messages and
designate a level of hazard seriousness.
- This is the safety alert symbol. It alerts you to potential personal injury haz-
ards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid possible injury
or death.
DANGER – Indicates an imminently hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, will result
in death or serious injury. Usage of this signal word is limited to the most extreme situ-
ations.
WARNING – Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION – Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, may result
in minor/moderate injury.
NOTICE – Addresses practices not related to personal injury, such as product and/or
property damage.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
WARNING-- To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or serious personal injury:
• Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not intended
for use by children. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used near
children.
• Do not put the Motor Housing, Power Cord, or Plug in water or other liquid. Do not
operate the product in water or under running water.
• Unplug the Power Cord from the electrical outlet when not in use, before putting on
or taking o parts, and before cleaning.
• Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and
other utensils away from the Beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to
persons, and/or damage to the product.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer. Attach-
ments, when furnished, may become hot during use, so allow them to cool before
handling.
• Do not plug/unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
• Never place the product where it may fall into a sink or other water/liquid lled con-
tainer. If the product falls into water or other liquid, do not touch or reach into the
water/liquid. Immediately unplug the product from the electrical outlet.

• Extension cords are available and may be used with care. If a longer cord is required,
the electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as that of the
product.
• Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or Plug, if wires
are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has been
dropped into water. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt
to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualied service personnel should
perform any servicing; take the product to the appliance repair shop of your choice
for inspection and repair.
CAUTION — To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not allow the Power Cord
to hang over the edge of a table or counter, where it may be tripped over or
pulled, and do not allow the Power Cord to touch a hot surface, including a stove.
NOTICE — To reduce the risk of product and/or property damage:
• This product is intended solely for indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial use in
mixing food items for human consumption. Do not use the product outdoors or for
any other purpose.
• To disconnect the product from the electrical outlet, pull directly on the Plug; do not
pull on the Power Cord.
• Remove the Beaters from the Motor Housing before cleaning.
NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any
way.

USING YOUR HAND MIXER
WARNING: Do not plug the Power Cord into an electrical outlet until the Beaters have
been securely attached.
1. Attach the Beaters: Locate the two half circles near the end of each Beater. Also
locate the breaks in the Slots in the Motor Housing. Insert the Beaters into the Slots
such that the half circles go into the breaks. Push down until the Beaters click into
place.
2. Slide the Speed Switch all the way down so “OFF” is visible. This is the o position.
Plug the Power Cord into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
3. Place the Beaters into the ingredients to be mixed.
4. Slide the Speed Switch to the desired setting. Speeds range from “1” (lowest) to “5”
(highest).
CAUTION: To prevent the Mixer from overheating, do not operate it for more than ve
minutes at a time. Allow four minutes o aer ve minutes of operation.
NOTE: For best results, begin with the lowest speed setting (“1”) and increase to a high-
er speed as necessary.
5. To add ingredients, turn the Mixer o and allow the motor to stop. Li Beaters out
of the mixture and rest the Mixer on its Heel.
6. When mixing is complete, turn the Mixer o. Make sure the motor has stopped be-
fore liing the Beaters out of the mixture. Unplug the Power Cord from the electrical
outlet.
WARNING: Always turn the Mixer o and unplug the Power Cord before leaving the
Mixer unattended and when it is not in use.
7. Eject the Beaters by rmly pressing the Eject Button.
CAUTION: Never eject the Beaters while the Mixer is operating.

HINTS FOR BEST RESULTS
• Refrigerated ingredients such as butter and eggs should be at room temperature
before mixing begins. Set these ingredients out ahead of time.
• To eliminate the possibility of eggshells in your recipe, break eggs into a separate
container rst, then add to the mixture.
• When mixing egg whites, be sure the mixing bowl and beaters are thoroughly clean
and dry. Even a small amount of oil on the beaters or in the bowl could cause the
egg whites to not aerate.
• Always start mixing at slow speeds. Gradually increase to the recommended speed
stated in a recipe.
• Do not over-mix. Take care to only mix ingredients until recommended in the recipe.
At any step, over-mixing can cause toughness, lack of rising, or excess shrinkage.
Fold in dry ingredients only until just combined. Always use the lowest speed neces-
sary.
• During mixing, ingredients may splash onto the sides of the Mixing Bowl. Turn the
Mixer o and use a plastic or rubber utensil to scrape the bowl. Do not use a metal
utensil, as they may damage the Beaters if contact is made. A light scraping aer the
addition of each ingredient helps achieve best results.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always ensure the Mixer is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed
to cool completely before cleaning it.
NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads to clean the Mixer.
• This Mixer was permanently lubricated at the factory before shipping and will not
require further lubrication for the life of the Mixer.
WARNING: Additional lubrication of electric motor parts could create a re hazard.
• Clean aer each use. Remove the Beaters from the Motor Housing before washing.
The Beaters are dishwasher safe but will be more thoroughly cleaned if hand washed
with warm, soapy water. Clean the exterior of the product by wiping it with a so,
damp cloth.
• Store the Mixer in a cool, dry place.

Courant™ warrants this product against defects in materi-
al and workmanship to the original purchaser as specied
below. Please be sure that the product is registered online
within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
PARTS – if the product is determined to have a
manufacturing defect, within a period of one
(1) year from the date of the original purchase,
Courant™ will repair or replace the product
parts at no charge (for parts) to consumers in
the U.S.A. and Canada.
LABOR – if the product is determined to have
a manufacturing defect, within a period of
ninety (90) Days from the date of the original
purchase, Courant™ will repair or replace the
product at no charge to consumers in the U.S.A.
and Canada. Aer ninety (90) days, it will be the
responsibility of the consumer.
Shipping costs to and from our warranty service center
are the sole responsibility of the consumer.
To obtain warranty service by an authorized Courant™
service center, please email us at: service@courantusa.
com to obtain a Repair and Maintenance Authorization
(RMA) number and to locate the Warranty Service Center
nearest you. Once authorized, you must mail the product
to the authorized Courant™ service center in its original
product packaging materials or equivalent, to prevent
damage while in transit.
Further, should Courant™ determine that the product is
outside of the Warranty terms, Courant™ will return the
product to sender at sender’s expense without being re-
paired or replaced, unless authorized by the consumer
to service the out-of-warranty product at consumer’s ex-
pense. All handling or restocking charges for returns and/
or replacements shall be non-refundable.
Courant™ specically excludes from this warranty any
non-electric/mechanical attachments, accessories, and
disposable parts including, but not limited to, outside
case, connecting cables, batteries, and AC adapters.
Courant™ reserves the right to repair or replace defective
products with the same, equivalent, or newer models.
We reserve the right to either repair or replace product at
our discretion. Replacement may be either new or refur-
bished and while every endeavor will be made to ensure
it is the same model, if same model is not available, it will
be replaced with a model of equal or higher specication.
Normal “Wear and Tear” is not covered by this, or any oth-
er, warranty. Further, Courant™ hereby reserves the right
to determine “Wear and Tear” on any and all products.
Tampering or opening the product casing or shell will void
this warranty in its entirety.
In addition, this warranty does not apply if the product
has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or mis-
application; has been altered or modied without the
written permission of Courant™; has been serviced by a
non-authorized repair center of Courant™; has not been
properly maintained or operated according to the opera-
tion manual; has been used for commercial, non-house-
hold purposes; has been cosmetically damaged; was not
imported by Courant™; was not manufactured according
to specication of the United States market; was dam-
aged due to improper installation or neglect by the con-
sumer; was damaged due to improper packaging in ship-
ment to the Warranty Service Center; was damaged due
to natural disasters; or if the serial number for the product
has been removed or defaced.

RANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A

NOTAS ACERCA DEL ENCHUFE
Este electrodoméstico cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una de las
patas es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga
eléctrica, este enchufe sólo puede conectarse de una sola forma en un
tomacorrientes polarizado. Si el enchufe no entra completamente en el tomacorrientes,
dele la vuelta e intente otra vez. Si aún así no entra, haga que un electricista calicado
cambie su tomacorrientes. No intente modicar el enchufe en ninguna forma.

USANDO SU BATIDORA DE MANO
ADVERTENCIA: No conecte el cable del suministro eléctrico en un tomacorrientes hasta
que las aspas han sido colocadas y aseguradas correctamente.
1. Coloque las aspas: Localice los dos medios círculos cerca del extremo nal de cada
aspa. También localice las aperturas en las ranuras para las aspas en la carcasa del
motor. Inserte las aspas en las ranuras, de forma tal, que los medios círculos de las
aspas entren en las aperturas de las ranuras. Empuje las aspas hasta que escuche un
clic que indica que quedaron bien colocadas.
2. Deslice el interruptor de velocidades completamente hasta que “OFF” esté visible.
Esta es la posición de apagado. Conecte el cable del suministro eléctrico a un toma-
corrientes AC de 120 voltios.
3. Coloque las aspas en los ingredientes a batir.
4. Deslice el interruptor de velocidades a la velocidad deseada. Las velocidades varían
de “1” (la más baja) hasta “5” (la más alta).
CUIDADO: Para evitar que la batidora se sobrecaliente, no la tenga en funcionamiento
continuo por más de 5 minutos cada vez. Después de este tiempo de operación, apágue-
la y déjela descansar cuatro minutos antes de volverla a encender.
AVISO: Para mejores resultados, comience con la velocidad más baja (“1”) y vaya incre-
mentando la velocidad conforme sea necesario.
5. Para agregar ingredientes, apague la batidora y permita que el motor se detenga.
Saque las aspas de la mezcla y déjela descansar sobre su suela.
6. Cuando ya haya terminado de mezclar, apague la batidora. Asegúrese de que el
motor se ha detenido antes de sacar las aspas de la mezcla. Desconecte el cable del
suministro eléctrico del tomacorrientes.
ADVERTENCIA: Siempre apague la batidora y desconecte el cable del suministro eléctri-
co antes de dejar la batidora sin supervisión cuando no se esté utilizando.

7. Presione el botón de expulsión para expulsar las aspas de la carcasa del motor.

CONSEJOS PARA OBTENER MEJORES RESULTADOS
• Los ingredientes refrigerados, como la mantequilla y huevos, deben estar a tem-
peratura ambiente, antes de comenzar a mezclarlos. Saque estos ingredientes del
refrigerados tiempo antes.
• Para eliminar la posibilidad de que caigan a la mezcla pedazos de cáscara de hue-
vo, rompa los huevos en un recipiente por separado y luego agréguelos a la mezcla.
• Cuando bata clara de huevo, asegúrese de que el tazón para mezclar y las aspas
estén perfectamente limpios y secos. Incluso, una mínima cantidad de aceite en las
aspas puede causar que las claras no se aireen.
• Siempre comience a batir en velocidades bajas. Incremente la velocidad gradual-
mente hasta llegar a la velocidad indicada en la receta.
• No bata en exceso. Cuide de sólo mezclar los ingredientes en el orden indicado en
la receta. En cualquier momento, batir los ingredientes en exceso puede causar que
el resultado nal esté duro, no esponje o se baje. Envuelva los ingredientes secos
solo hasta que estén combinados. Siempre utilice la velocidad necesaria más baja.
• Durante el batido, los ingredientes pueden salpicar el interior del tazón para mez-
clar. Apague la batidora y utilice un espátula o utensilio de plástico o goma para
retirarlos e incorpórelos a la mezcla. No utilice utensilios metálicos, ya que pueden
dañar las aspas si entran en contacto. Retirar los ingredientes que son salpicados
después de añadirlos ayuda a tener mejores resultados.

CUIDADOS Y MANTENIMIENTO

Courant™ garantiza al comprador original este produc-
to contra defectos en su material y mano de obra como
se especica a continuación. Registre el producto en
línea dentro de los catorce (14) posteriores a su compra.
PARTES – Si se determina que el producto
tiene defectos de fabricación, dentro del
periodo de un (1) año a partir de la fecha de
compra original, Courant™ reparará o reem-
plazara las partes del producto sin ningún
costo para usted en Estados Unidos y Canadá.
MANO DE OBRA – Si se determina que el pro-
ducto tiene defectos de fabricación, dentro
de un periodo de noventa (90) días a partir de
la fecha de compra original, Courant™ repara-
rá o reemplazara las partes del producto sin
ningún costo para usted en Estados Unidos
y Canadá. Después de noventa (90) días será
responsabilidad del comprador.
Los costos de envío hacia o desde nuestro centro de
servicio corren exclusivamente a cargo del cliente.
Para obtener el servicio de garantía de un distribuidor
autorizado de Courant™ envíenos un correo electrónico
a: [e-mail] para obtener un número
de Autorización de Reparación y Mantenimiento (RAM)
y para localizar el Centro de Servicio de Garantías más
cercano. Una vez autorizado debe enviar por correo el
producto en su empaque original o equivalente al cen-
tro de servicio Courant autorizado, para evitar daños
durante el tránsito.
Además, si Courant™ determinara que el producto está
fuera de los términos de garantía, Courant™ devolverá
el producto al remitente con costo a cargo del remiten-
te sin ser reparado o reemplazado, a menos que sea au-
torizado por el cliente darle servicio al producto fuera
de garantía con cargo para el cliente. Todos los cargos
de manejo y reposición para el retorno y/o reemplazo
no serán reembolsables.
Courant™ excluye de esta garantía accesorios no eléc-
tricos o mecánicos, accesorios y partes desechables
incluyendo, pero no limitado, a la carcaza, cables de
conexión, baterías, adaptadores AC. Courant™ se re-
serva el derecho de reparar o reemplazar un producto
defectuoso con un modelo igual, equivalente o nuevo.
Nos reservamos el derecho ya sea de reparar o reem-
plazar el producto a nuestra discreción. El reemplazo
puede ser nuevo o reacondicionado tratando de asegu-
rar de que se trate del mismo modelo, si el mismo mo-
delo no está disponible, se reemplazará con un modelo
de especicaciones iguales o superiores.
El “desgaste” normal no está cubierto por esta ni por
ningún otra garantía. Adicionalmente, Courant™ se re-
serva el derecho de determinar el “desgaste” de cual-
quiera o todos los productos. Violar o abrir el chasis
del producto invalidará por completo esta garantía.
Además, esta garantía no aplica si el producto ha sido
dañado por accidente, mal uso, abuso, uso indebido;
si ha sido alterado o modicado sin el consentimiento
escrito de Courant™; ha sido reparado por un Centro
de Servicio no Autorizado por Courant™; no se le ha
dado el mantenimiento adecuado o no ha sido ope-
rado de acuerdo a las instrucciones del manual de
operación; ha sido utilizado de forma comercial y no
para el uso casero; ha sido dañado cosméticamente;
no ha sido importado por Courant™; no ha sido fabri-
cado de acuerdo a las especicaciones del mercado
de Estados Unidos; ha resultado dañado debido a una
inadecuada instalación o negligencia del cliente; ha
resultado dañado debido a un empaquetado inade-
cuado al enviarlo al Centro de Servicio de Garantía; ha
sido dañado debido a desastres naturales; o si se ha
alterado o eliminado el número de serie del producto.
TODAS LAS GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUYENDO
LAS GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE MERCADOTECNIA E
IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPÓSITO EN PARTICULAR
ESTÁN LIMITADAS A UNA DURACIÓN DE (1) AÑO EN
PARTES Y NOVENTA (90) DÍAS EN MANO DE OBRA DES-
DE LA FECHA ORIGINAL DE COMPRA DEL PRODUCTO.
ESTAS GARANTÍAS Y MEDIDAS SON ÚNICAS Y EXCLU-
SIVAS EN RELACIÓN CON LA VENTA Y USO DEL PRO-
DUCTO. NO SE OTORGA NINGUNA OTRA GARANTÍA,
ORAL O ESCRITA, EN FORMA EXPRESA O IMPLÍCITA.
COURANT™ NO SE HACE RESPONSABLE DE NINGÚN
DAÑO, YA SEA ESPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSECUEN-
TE, DIRECTO O DE CUALQUIER OTRA NATURALEZA, YA
SEA CONOCIDO O POR DAR A CONOCER A IMPECCA™,
INCLUYENDO LA PÉRDIDA DE GANANCIAS, PLUSVALÍA,
DAÑOS PERSONALES O EN LA PROPIEDAD RESULTAN-
TES DE CUALQUIER INCUMPLIMIENTO DE LA GARAN-
TÍA, LA INCAPACIDAD DE UTILIZAR EL PRODUCTO O
BAJO NINGUNA TEORÍA LEGAL EN CONTRATO O AGRA-
VIO. LA RESPONSABILIDAD DE IMPECCA SE LIMITA AL
PRECIO ACTUAL DE COMPRA PAGADO AL VENDEDOR
DEL PRODUCTO DEFECTUOSO.
Ningún distribuidor, agente o empleado de Courant™
está autorizado para hacer ninguna modicación,
extensión, cambio o enmienda de esta garantía sin el
consentimiento y autorización escrita de Courant™.
Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o limitación
de garantías implícitas o la responsabilidad por daños
incidentales o consecuentes, y no permiten una limita-
ción en la duración de una garantía implícita, de modo
que las anteriores limitaciones o exclusiones pueden
no aplicarse a usted. Esta garantía le otorga derechos
especícos, y puede usted tener otros derechos, los
cuales varían de estado a estado.
Nota: Nuestro Centro de Servicio de Garantía sólo hace
envíos a EE.UU. Continental, excluyendo Alaska y Hawái.
