Initial Safety Instructions
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE TO ENSURE SAFETY, AS THEY
MAY NOT ALL BE OBVIOUS.
• Any use of this product in a manner not
recommended by the manufacturer may
cause injury to persons or damage to the
appliance.
• The use of accessories or attachments
are not recommended or sold by the
product manufacturer.
• This product has no user-serviceable
parts. Do not attempt to examine or re-
pair this product yourself. Only qualified
service personnel should perform any
servicing.
• Do not allow a child to use this appli-
ance. Keep the appliance out of chil-
dren's reach at all times.
• Keep any parts or packaging materi-
als away from children. These are a
potential source of suocation or other
danger.
• This product is not intended for use by
persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities that may lead to
improper use or injury from operating
the appliance.
• Discontinue any operation of the appli-
ance if any of its parts malfunction or
if any components are damaged in any
manner. Do not use the appliance if the
base has been submerged or placed
under running water.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of
a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• If the power cord of this appliance is
damaged, it should only be replaced by
the manufacturer or authorized service
person.
• Do not leave the product unattended
while it is plugged in. Unplug it when
not in use.
• If there is smoke or a strong odor coming
from the unit, unplug it immediately and
contact Customer Service.
• Before first use, check the unit (including
the power cord) and parts for any faults
or defects.
• To reduce risk of electric shock, the plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact an electri-
cian. Do not modify the plug.
• Do not fill the kettle with water while the
base unit is still plugged in.
• Keep the kettle and base away from any
sources of heat, such as a stove top or
oven. Such heat will deform and ruin the
unit or base.
• When unplugging the cord, grasp the
plug itself, not the cord.
• CAUTION: Steam from the kettle is
extremely hot and can cause burns. Be
sure that the spout is pointed away from
people when handling it.
• Never turn on the kettle when it is
empty.
• This kettle is designed for boiling water
only. Using any other liquids is a safety
hazard.
• Do not place the kettle or base on an
unstable table, stand, tripod, bracket,
or cart. The unit may fall, resulting in
possible damage or injury.
• Do not touch any hot surfaces directly.
Always use the handle when liing or
moving the kettle.
• Do not open the lid while water
is boiling!
WARNING: Handling the cord on this product will expose you to lead, a chemical
known to the State of California to cause cancer, congenital disabilities, or other
reproductive harm.

Getting Started
Congratulations on your purchase of this 1 / 1.7 liter Cordless Kettle from Courant!
Features:
• 360-degree rotating power base • Power indicator light

Please read all of these instructions before first use to safely get the most out of your
new appliance.
Before using your kettle for the first time:
• Carefully unpack the kettle. Remove all labels and packaging materials.
Do not plug the kettle in yet.
• Make sure there is no damage to the kettle, kettle base or power cord.
• Before using any water boiled by the kettle, boil fresh water in it at least twice,
pouring the water out aer each time. Use the instructions in the "Operating the
Kettle" section.
During initial use, you may notice a slight odor due to the release of manufac-
turing residues. This is normal and will disappear aer a few uses.
Only connect the kettle to a properly installed 110V, 60Hz standard outlet. The
electrical specifications are printed on the label of the kettle base.

Operating the Kettle
Do not leave the kettle plugged in if it is not in use!
1. Ensure the base (the part with the plug) of the kettle is placed on a stable surface
and within comfortable distance of a suitable 110v power outlet.
2. Place the kettle on a flat surface.
3. Press and release the lid release button (4) to open the lid. Fill the kettle with
cold (but not freezing) water. Make sure the water is above "MIN" and below
"MAX". The water level can be seen from the side of the unit through the water
window. Do not overfill.
4. Close the lid by pressing it down. Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed
before boiling.
5. Place the kettle flush on the base.
6. Plug the base of the kettle into a suitable 110v household power supply.
7. Press the switch (6) down at the bottom of the kettle. The kettle will light up and
water will begin heating to a boiling point. The time for boiling depends on the
volume and temperature of water.
8. Aer boiling is complete, the kettle will turn o automatically and the switch will
pop back up. Disconnect the kettle base from the outlet at this time.
9. Li the kettle by the handle and carefully pour the boiling water into a suitable
container. Do not press the lid release button while pouring. Make sure the
container you are pouring into is rated to safely contain water at a boiling tem-
perature. Make sure this container also has a larger capacity than the kettle to be
sure it does not overfill, or fill to a dangerous level.
Caution: Steam may rise from the spout area aer boiling is complete. Keep
clearance from the steam to avoid being burned.
Additional Operating Instructions and Tips
• Use cold water when filling the kettle. Use pure water only, without any additives
or ingredients.
• When filling the kettle, the water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. mark-
ing on the side of the unit. Overfilling is a safety hazard and will cause boiling
water to spill.
• Always make sure the kettle is switched o before removing it from the base.
• The kettle is only to be used with the base provided. Do not use the power base
for any other purposes other than powering this kettle.
• Do not immerse the kettle or kettle base in water.
• Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed before starting the boiling process.

Care, Cleaning, and Maintenance
Always switch off the appliance and unplug it before cleaning.
Any servicing of this product should be performed by an authorized service representative.
CLEANING
Always unplug the kettle base before cleaning the kettle. If the kettle is still warm,
allow for it to cool down first. To clean, use a so, wet cloth or sponge to wipe the sur-
face of the kettle. If there is a stubborn spot, use a natural detergent, but do not use a
rubbing compound or powdered abrasive which can scratch the finish. Do not get the
base of the kettle wet! Do not leave any cleaning residue inside the kettle.
CAUTION: NEVER GET THE BASE OF THE KETTLE IN WET. THIS BASE HAS ELECTRI-
CAL COMPONENTS AND SHOULD NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER.
DETACHABLE FILTER
The kettle has a detachable filter. If it requires cleaning, wait until the kettle is cool
and press the lid release button to li up the lid. Then, remove the detachable filter in
the spout area for cleaning and place it back into the kettle.
DECALCIFYING
If the appliance stops boiling water effectively or switches off before reaching a boiling
point, this is a sign that decalcifying may be necessary:
1. Fill the kettle with vinegar and water (equal mixture) and boil it. Keep it below
MAX. Do not overfill.
2. Unplug the kettle and allow the boiled mixture to stay in the kettle overnight.
3. Pour out the remaining liquid the next morning.
4. Boil a full kettle of just water (no vinegar).
5. When boiling is finished, carefully empty the kettle and boil another round of
fresh water.
6. Carefully empty the kettle and give it plenty of time to cool down.
7. Open the lid to the kettle and clean the inside using a cloth.
STORAGE
If your unit will not be used for more than a few days, be sure to completely dry the
kettle, inside and out before storing it. This will prevent any spots or rust-like forma-
tion.

Six Month Limited Warranty
Courant®warrants this product against defects in
material and workmanship to the original purchaser as
specified below provided that the product is registered
online within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
PARTS – if the product is determined to have a
manufacturing defect, within a period of six (6)
months from the date of the original purchase,
Courant® will repair or replace the product parts at
no charge (for parts) to consumers in the U.S.A. and
Canada.
LABOR – if the product is determined to have a
manufacturing defect, within a period of thirty (30)
Days from the date of the original purchase,
Courant® will repair or replace the product at no
charge to consumers in the U.S.A. and Canada.
After thirty (30) days, it will be the responsibility of
the consumer.
Shipping costs to and from our warranty service center
are the sole responsibility of the consumer.
To obtain warranty service by an authorized
Courant®service center, please email
us at: [email protected] to obtain a
Repair and Maintenance Authorization (RMA) number
and to locate the Warranty Service Center
nearest you. Once authorized, you must mail
the product to the authorized Courant®service
center in its original product packaging materials
or equivalent, to prevent damage while in transit.
Further, should Courant®determine that the
product is outside of the Warranty terms, Courant®
will return the product to sender at sender’s
expense without being repaired or replaced, unless
authorized by the consumer to service the out-of-
warranty product at consumer’s expense. All handling
or restocking charges for returns and/or
replacements shall be non-refundable.
Courant®specifically excludes from this warranty
any non-electric/mechanical attachments, accessories,
and disposable parts including, but not limited to,
outside case, connecting cables, batteries, and AC
adaptors. Courant®reserves the right to repair
or replace defective products with the same,
equivalent, or newer models.
We reserve the right to either repair or replace
product at our discretion. Replacement may be either
new or refurbished and while every endeavor will be
made to ensure it is the same model, if same model is
not available, it will be replaced with a model of equal
or higher specification.
Normal “Wear and Tear” is not covered by this, or any
other, warranty. Further, Courant®hereby reserves
the right to determine “Wear and Tear” on any and
all products. Tampering or opening the product
casing or shell will void this warranty in its entirety.
In addition, this warranty does not apply if the
product has been damaged by accident, abuse,
misuse, or misapplication; has been altered or
modified without the written permission of
Courant®; has been serviced by a non-authorized
repair center of Courant®; has not been properly
maintained or operated according to the operation
manual; has been used for commercial, non-
household purposes; has been cosmetically
damaged; was not imported by Courant®; was not
manufactured according to specification of the
United States market; was damaged due to improper
installation or neglect by the consumer; was
damaged due to improper packaging in shipment to
the Warranty Service Center; was damaged due to
natural disasters; or if the serial number for the
product has been removed or defaced.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO SIX
(6) MONTHS PARTS AND THIRTY (30) DAYS LABOR FROM
THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE OF THIS
PRODUCT.
THESE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES ARE THE SOLE AND
EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES IN CONNECTION

Por favor lea todas las instrucciones antes del primer uso para que de forma segura

Antes de usar su tetera la primera vez:
• Desempaque cuidadosamente la tetera. Retire todas las etiquetas y material de
empaque. Aún no conecte la tetera.
• Asegúrese de que la tetera, la base de la tetera y el cable de suministro eléctrico
no estén dañados.
• Antes de usar cualquier agua hervida por la tetera, hierva agua al menos dos

Operando la Tetera
¡No deje conectada la tetera cuando no esté en uso!
1. Asegúrese de que la base (la parte con el enchufe) de la tetera está colocada so-
bre una superficie estable y a una distancia cómoda de una toma de corriente
adecuada de 110v.
2. Coloca la tetera en una superficie plana.
3. Pulse y suelte el botón de apertura de la tapa (4) para abrirla. Llene la tetera con
agua fría (pero no helada). Asegúrese de que el agua esté por encima del nivel
"MIN" y por debajo del nivel "MAX". El nivel de agua se puede ver desde la parte
lateral del aparato a través de la ventana de agua. No llene en exceso.
4. Cierre la tapa presionándola hacia abajo. Asegúrese siempre de que la tapa esté
bien cerrada antes de poner el agua a hervir.
5. Coloque la tetera a ras de la base.
6. Enchufe la base de la tetera a una fuente de alimentación doméstica adecuada de
110v.
7. Presione el interruptor (6) situado en la parte inferior de la tetera. La tetera se en-
cenderá y el agua comenzará a calentarse hasta alcanzar el punto de ebullición. El
tiempo de ebullición depende del volumen y la temperatura del agua.
8. Una vez que el agua ha hervido, la tetera se apagará automáticamente y el inter-
ruptor se liberará. En este momento, desconecte la base de la tetera de la toma
de corriente.
9. Levante la tetera por el asa y vierta con cuidado el agua hirviendo en un recipi-
ente adecuado. No pulse el botón de apertura de la tapa mientras vierte el
agua. Asegúrese de que el recipiente en el que va a verter el agua está preparado
para contener agua a una temperatura de ebullición. Asegúrese también de que
este recipiente tenga una capacidad mayor que la de la tetera para evitar que se
llene en exceso o hasta un nivel peligroso.
Precaución: El vapor puede salir de la zona de la boquilla una vez completada la
ebullición. Manténgase alejado del vapor para evitar quemarse.
Instrucciones Adicionales de Operación y Consejos
• Utilice agua fría al llenar la tetera. Utilice sólo agua pura, sin aditivos ni ingredien-
tes.
• Cuando llene la tetera, el nivel de agua debe estar entre las marcas MÁX y MIN en
la ventana lateral de la tetera. El sobrellenado es un peligro para la seguridad y
hará que se derrame el agua hirviendo.
• Asegúrese siempre de que la tetera esté apagada antes de retirarla de la base.
• La tetera sólo debe utilizarse con la base suministrada. No utilice la base para
ningún otro fin que no sea el de encender esta tetera.
• No sumerja la tetera ni la base de la tetera en agua.

LIMPIEZA
Desenchufe siempre la base de la tetera antes de limpiarla. Si la tetera está todavía

o una esponja para limpiar la superficie de la tetera. Si hay una mancha persistente,
utilice un detergente natural, pero no utilice un compuesto para frotar o un abrasivo
en polvo que pueda rayar el acabado. No moje la base de la tetera. No deje ningún
residuo de limpieza en el interior de la tetera.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO MOJE NUNCA LA BASE DE LA TETERA. ESTA BASE TIENE COM-
PONENTES ELÉCTRICOS Y NUNCA DEBE ENTRAR EN CONTACTO CON EL AGUA.

La tetera tiene un filtro desmontable. Si necesita limpiarlo, espere a que la tetera se
enfríe y pulse el botón de apertura de la tapa para levantarla. A continuación, retire el
filtro desmontable de la zona de la boquilla para limpiarlo y vuelva a colocarlo en la
tetera.
DESCALCIFICACIÓN
Si el aparato deja de hervir agua eficazmente o se apaga antes de alcanzar el punto
de ebullición, es señal de que puede ser necesario descalcificarla:
1. Llene la tetera con vinagre y agua (mezcla a partes iguales) y hierva. Manténgala
por debajo de la temperatura máxima. No llene en exceso.
2. Desenchufe la tetera y deje que la mezcla hervida permanezca en la tetera duran-
te toda la noche.
3. Vierta el líquido restante a la mañana siguiente.
4. Hierva una tetera llena sólo de agua (sin vinagre).
5. Cuando termine de hervir vacíe la tetera cuidadosamente y ponga a hervir otra
ronda de agua fresca.
6. Vacíe la tetera con cuidado y deje que se enfríe.
7. Abra la tapa de la tetera y limpie el interior con un paño.

Garantía Limitada de Seis Meses (US)
Impecca®garantiza este producto contra defectos en
material y obra al comprador original como se especifica
abajo siempre y cuando el producto este registrado en
línea dentro de los catorce (14) días de compra.
PARTES –Si se determina que el producto tiene defecto de
fábrica, dentro de seis (6) meses a partir de la fecha de
compra original, Impecca®reparará o reemplazará las
partes del producto sin costo alguno (de las
partes) para consumidores en Estados Unidos y Canadá.
LABOR –Si se determina que el producto tiene un defecto
de fabrica, dentro de un periodo de treinta (30) días a
partir de la fecha de compra original,,Impecca®
reparará o reemplazará el producto sin costo
alguno para consumidores en Estados Unidos y Canadá.
Después de treinta (30) días será responsabilidad del
consumidor.
Costos de embarque hacia y desde el Centro de Servicio
de Garantía son la completa responsabilidad del
consumidor.
Para obtener servicio de garantía por un centro de servicio
autorizado de Impecca, por favor envíenos un correo
electrónico a: [email protected] para obtener un
numero de Autorización de Reparación y Mantenimiento y
para localizar el Centro de Servicio de Garantía mas cerca
de usted. Una vez autorizado, usted debe enviar el
artículo por correo al centro de servicios autorizado
Impecca®en sus materiales de empaque de producto
originales o equivalente, para prevenir daño en tránsito.
Además, si Impecca®determina que el producto está
fuera de los términos de Garantía, Impecca®retornará el
producto al remitente a cargo del remitente sin ser
reparado o reemplazado, salvo que haya sido autorizado
por el consumidor a dar servicio al producto fuera de
garantía al costo del consumidor. Todos los cargos de
manejo o por reposición por devoluciones y/o reemplazos
no serán reembolsables.
Impecca®específicamente excluye de esta garantía
aditamentos no-eléctricos/mecánicos, accesorios, y partes
desechables incluyendo, pero no limitados a, caja
externa, cables de conexión, baterías, y adaptadores AC.
Impecca®se reserva el derecho a reparar o reemplazar
productos con el mismo, equivalente, o modelo más
nuevo.
Nos reservamos el derecho a reparar o reemplazar el
producto a nuestra discreción. El reemplazo puede ser
nuevo o reparado y aunque se hará todo lo posible por que
sea el mismo modelo, si el mismo modelo no está
disponible, será reemplazado con un modelo de la misma
mayor especificación.
Desgaste normal no es cubierto por esta garantía.
Además, Impecca®se reserva el derecho a determinar el
“desgaste” en cualquier y todos los productos.
Manipulación o apertura de la cubierta o tapadera del
producto anulará esta garantía completamente.
La garantía no aplica si el producto ha sido dañado por
accidente, abuso, mal uso, o mala aplicación; ha sido
alterado o modificado sin el permiso expreso de
Impecca®; ha recibido servicio por un centro de
reparación no autorizado por Impecca®; no ha sido
mantenido u operado de forma apropiada de acuerdo al
manual de operación; ha sido usado para propósitos
comerciales, no domésticos; ha sido dañado
cosméticamente; no fue importado por Impecca®; no
fue fabricado de acuerdo a especificación del mercado
de Estados Unidos; fue dañado debido a instalación no
apropiada o negligencia del consumidor; fue dañado por
empaque no apropiado en el embarque al Centro de
Servicio de Garantía; fue dañado por desastre natural; o
si el número de serie del producto ha sido removido o
desfigurado.

Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique,
la fiche ne rentrera dans une prise polar-

• Ne remplissez pas la bouilloire avec de
l'eau pendant que l'unité de base est
toujours branchée.
• Éloignez la bouilloire et la base de toute
source de chaleur, comme une cuisinière
ou un four. Une telle chaleur déformera
et abîmera l'unité ou la base.
• Lorsque vous débranchez le cordon,
saisissez le se branche, pas le cordon.
• ATTENTION: la vapeur de la bouilloire
extrêmement chaud et peut provoquer
des brûlures. Assurez-vous que le bec est
éloigné de les gens lors de sa manipu-
lation.
• N'allumez jamais la bouilloire lorsqu'elle
est vide.
• Cette bouilloire est conçue pour faire
bouillir de l'eau uniquement. L'utilisa-
tion de tout autre liquide constitue un

• Ne placez pas la bouilloire ou la base

Veuillez lire toutes ces instructions avant la première utilisation pour tirer le meilleur
parti de votre nouvel appareil.
Avant d'utiliser votre bouilloire pour la première fois:
• Déballez soigneusement la bouilloire. Retirez toutes les étiquettes et tous les
matériaux d'emballage. Ne branchez pas encore la bouilloire.
• Assurez-vous que la bouilloire, la base de la bouilloire ou le cordon d'alimenta-
tion ne sont pas endommagés.
• Avant d'utiliser de l'eau bouillie par la bouilloire, faites-y bouillir de l'eau fraîche
au moins deux fois, en versant l'eau après chaque fois. Suivez les instructions de
la section «Fonctionnement de la bouilloire».
Lors de la première utilisation, vous pouvez remarquer une légère odeur en rai-
son de la libération de résidus de la fabrication. Ceci est normal et disparaîtra
après quelques utilisations.
Connectez la bouilloire uniquement à une prise standard 110 V, 60 Hz correcte-
ment installée. Les spécifications électriques sont imprimées sur l'étiquette de
la base de la bouilloire.
