USING THE USB PORT
The Spotlight is equipped with a USB port that can be used to charge/operate most
items that use a standard USB cable (2.1A maximum). NOTE: THE USB PORT IS
CONTROLLED BY A SWITCH. The LED/USB switch on the side of the spotlight must be
in the USB postion for the USB to be powered. Place switch in off (middle) position when
not in use and during charging operation.
Bulb Replacement
Spotlight is fitted with a 12V H4 Quartz
Halogen bulb. Replace with same.
To replace bulb, make sure switches are in
the off position and unit is cool to touch.
Remove front rubber cover by twisting
counterclockwise. Pull out reflector
assembly and disconnect bulb wires, black
wire first, noting appropriate terminal on
bulb. Do not allow wires to touch.
Unhook the metal wire bulb holder and pull
the bulb from the metal fixture. Carefully
re-insert the new bulb into the reflector. DO
NOT touch the glass portion of the bulb with
your fingers as the natural oils from your
hands can cause the bulb to fail. If you
should inadvertently touch it, clean the bulb
immediately with household rubbing alcohol.
Make sure the bulb is fully seated in the right
position, then reverse above procedure. Firmly reconnect bulb wires to correct
terminals of new bulb and reassemble Spotlight.
The LED lights have an extremely long life time and cannot be replaced.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
SPOTLIGHT
The spotlight is equipped with a high power and regular power beam that can be
selected by the “MAIN BEAM” switch on the side of the spotlight. The regular beam
draws less power from the battery and will operate for longer periods (up to
approximately 69 minutes) before recharging is necessary. The high power beam will
provided a longer range beam with more intensity when required but will have shorter
operating times (up to approximately 35 minutes). Place switch in “LOW” postion for
regular beam and “HIGH” position for high beam.
Spotlight is equipped with an auto shut off to protect battery from over discharge.
When light goes out, place switches in off (middle) position and recharge unit as soon
as possible.
Spotlight can also be operated directly from 12 volt vehicle outlet socket using the DC
adaptor cord equipped with the 12 volt plugs . Plug cord in the DC 12V power outlet
socket on the side of the light and the other end into the vehicle. Spotlight can now be
operated without battery power being consumed. Spotlight cannot be operated with
AC charging adaptor. AC Adaptor is for charging battery only.
WARNING!
The spotlight becomes very hot during use. DO NOT touch lens or block lens area
during operation. DO NOT place the unit on surfaces that may be damaged from heat.
Allow the unit to cool before storing.
Light is very powerful. DO NOT shine into the eyes of humans or animals.
Keep out of reach of children.
CAUTION!
Unit is not waterproof. DO NOT use spotlight under water or immerse in water.
LED AREA LIGHT
The Spotlight is equipped with bright LED lights embedded in the
rim. These will provide an area light for working and general
illumination. To operate, place LED/USB switch on side of unit in
LED position. Area light will operate continuously for many hours
on a full charge.
ADUSTABLE HEAD
To adjust head angle, gently pull up on rim at bottom. Angle can
be adjusted to 4 different positions indicated by a “ click “ sound.
Do not force head beyond final point. Return head to closed position for storage to
prevent damage to mechanism.
USING AS A 12 VOLT DC POWER SUPPLY
The spotlight is equipped with an outlet socket and can be used to operate most 12 volt
auto accessories and appliances (10 AMP maximum) equipped with a cigarette lighter
plug. Simply lift up cover on socket and plug in appliance. NOTE ; socket is live so
appliance will be instantaneously powered. Length of time appliance will operate will
depend on condition of battery and current draw of appliance. Do not fully drain
battery. Discontinue use immediately when battery power starts to weaken. Recharge
unit as soon as possible and before further use.
Power outlet is protected by an internal circuit breaker to prevent damage to unit in
case appliance has a short circuit or exceeds 10AMPS. If circuit breaker is tripped,
disconnect appliance and have it checked. Circuit breaker will automatically reset once
it cools down (approx. 5-10 minutes). DO NOT PLUG A CIGARETTE LIGHTER INTO
THE OUTLET OF THE SPOTLIGHT.

Charging
The spotlight has a maintenance free, built in sealed lead acid battery. Although the
unit arrives partially charged from the factory, it MUST BE FULLY CHARGED BEFORE
FIRST USE. This inital charge pre-conditions the battery. Failure to follow this
procedure may permanently damage the battery.
Spotlight is supplied with an AC adaptor for charging from household wall socket (110
volt) and a DC adaptor for charging from 12 volt vehicle lighter socket. Make sure all
switches are in the off ( middle ) position.
For charging with AC household charger, locate jack on side of spotlight and plug in
cord. Plug into appropriate power source. The red LED indicator light above the
jack will illuminate indicating that the spotlight is charging. If the indicator light fails to
illuminate, check power source to make sure it is live.
Red charging light will go out when battery has reached full charge and begin to flash
slowly ( appx. every 5 – 60 seconds depending on charge time )
NOTE : Adaptor will become warm during charging operation
For charging from vehicle, use the DC adaptor cord with the auto plugs on both ends.
Plug one end into the 12 volt power outlet socket located on the opposite side of the
spotlight and the other end into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. Vehicle
should be running for full charging to take place. NEVER leave vehicle running in an
enclosed or poorly ventilated space.
NOTE: The red LED charging indicator light does not illuminate for DC charging.
The spotlight should be fully charged before initial use to pre-condition the battery.
Failure to do so will result in shortened battery operational capacity and reduced life
cycle.
Subsequent recharging will take approximately 10 to 14 hours with AC adaptor and
4-6 hours with DC adaptor cord to reach full charge from discharged state. NOTE:
Some vehicles’ cigarette lighters and 12 volt power ports do not operate unless the
ignition switch is in the accessory position.
Unplug charger after the spotlight is fully charged. The unit is now ready to use.
However, we recommend recharging your spotlight every 2 months if not in use.
NOTE
Spotlight is equipped with an auto shut off to protect battery from over discharge.
When light goes out, place switches in off ( middle ) position and recharge unit as
soon as possible. DO NOT leave the spotlight in total discharged state for an
extended period of time. Keep battery power fully charged. Unlike some rechargeable
batteries, frequent charging will not harm and will in fact improve the performance of
the internal battery.
Spotlight cannot be operated with AC charging adaptorplugged in.. AC Adaptor is
for charging battery only.
CAUTION!
•DO NOT recharge the spotlight with any other adaptors than those supplied
with the unit.
THIS SPOTLIGHT MUST BE FULLY CHARGED BEFORE FIRST USE. FAILURE TO DO
