GENERAL INFORMATION
The thermo-electric cooling system Minibar is both reliable and safe.
This cooling system is based on the use of direct current; on the contact surface of two different
conducting substances, on one side (cold side) heat is absorbed, on the other (hot) side, heat is
generated (see figure 01).

DANGER
• Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet, do not remove grounding prong, do not use an adapter, and do
not use an extension cord.
• lt is recommended that a separate circuit, serving only your Appliance be provided. Use receptacles that
cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain.

• Use two or more people to move and install Appliance. Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
• To ensure proper ventilation for your Appliance, the front of the unit must be completely unobstructed.
Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures above 60°F (16°C) and below 90°F (32°C). This unit must
be installed in an area protected from the element, such as wind, rain, water spray or drips.
• The Appliance should not be located next to ovens, grills or other sources of high heat.
• The Appliance must be installed with all electrical connections in accordance with state and local codes.
A standard electrical supply (115 V AC only, 60 Hz), properly grounded in accordance with the National
Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances is required.
• Do not kink or pinch the power supply cord of Appliance.
• The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 2.5 amperes.
• lt is important for the Appliance to be leveled in order to work properly. You may need to make several
adjustments to level it.
• Never allow children to operate, play with or crawl inside the Appliance.

• Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents of abrasives on the interior. These cleaners may
damage or discolor the interior.
• Do not use this apparatus for other than its intended purpose.
• Please keep the products away from the fire or similar glowing substance before you dispose
the refrigerator.

• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have
been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the unit
safety.
• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of
obstruction.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance,
unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this
appliance.
• Risk of fire and electrical shock or fire.
• Be careful not to cause damage to the refrigerant circuit. it contains isobutane (R600a), a
natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility. This gas is flammable.
• If damage occurs to the refrigerant circuit, make sure that there are no flame and sources of
ignition in the room. Ventilate the room.
• Do not let hot items to touch the plastic parts of the appliance.
• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appliance.
• Do not put flammable products or items that are wet with flammable products in, near or on
the appliance.
• Do not touch the condenser. It is hot!

• Use the minibar exclusively for cooling and storing closed beverages and snacks.
• Do not store any perishable food in the minibar.
• Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.
• The minibar is not intended to be brought into contact with food.

package leaflet for the medicinal product.

INSTALLATION
To make sure the minibar is correctly installed it is advisable to guarantee that the refrigeration by practising
opening the door for the entry and exit of the air as shown in Figure 03.
VENTILATION
The refrigeration system gives off heat and requires a good level of ventilation and must be placed in a
well-ventilated environment. The minibar should be installed in an environment with an opening to provide
the necessary change of air (see Fig 03) and under no circumstances should the grills, which provide good
ventilation for the appliance, be covered or blocked. Also remember never to set the unit in an area directly
exposed to sunlight or near other sources of heat.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND EARTHING
Before connecting the plug to the mains, make sure the mains voltage corresponds to that shown on the
rating plate (located inside the minibar) and that the socket has a normal earthed system as required by
safety regulations for electrical systems. The electrical socket must also be able to support the maximum
power loading of the appliance indicated on the plate itself.
WARNING!
If the socket is not fitted with an earthed system or if multiple sockets or adapters are used, the manufacturer
shall not be liable for any injuries to persons or damage to property and/or the minibar itself.
WARNING!
The user must always be able to access the plug.
USE
When connecting the plug to the mains outlet, the minibar starts operating immediately, unless the
temperature adjusting knob is set to ”0” (zero)” (see figure 02).
TEMPERATURE SETTING
The knob for the temperature adjusting thermostat is located in the upper part of the internal liner of the
refrigerator.
To set the internal temperature, adjust the control knob according to the ambient temperature or based on
the use the refrigerator is intended to.
The temperature control range is comprised of the following levels:
• position 0 = refrigerator off
• position 1 = minimal refrigeration (higher internal temperature)
• position 2 = medium refrigeration (intermediate internal temperature)
• position 3 = maximum refrigeration (lower internal temperature)

MAINTENANCE
• Regularly clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator using only warm water and a
neutral detergent.
• Subsequent to washing, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly using a soft cloth.
• Do not use the following: special glass and mirror cleaning products, liquid, powder, or spray
detergents, alcohol, ammonia or abrasive products.
• If you are not using the minibar, we suggest cleaning it well inside and leaving the door ajar
to ventilate the interior.
In the event of failure or a technical fault, make sure that:
a) the plug is correctly plugged into the mains socket;
b) the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the TECHNICAL DATA table;
c) the temperature adjusting knob is not in the position “0”;
d) the fridge is not near sources of heat or exposed to sunlight;
f) the refrigerator is installed in such a way, to respect the ventilation openings.

Los Minibar dotados de sistema de refrigeración termoeléctrico garantizan niveles elevados de
fiabilidad y seguridad.
Dicho sistema de refrigeración se funda en la posibilidad de aprovechar la corriente eléctrica
directa sobre la superficie de contacto de dos sustancias conductoras distintas: en un lado se
absorbe calor (lado frío) mientras que en el otro se produce calor (lado caliente) (véase figura 01).

PELIGRO
• Enchufe en una toma de corriente de 3 puntas con conexión a tierra, no retire la punta de conexión a
tierra, no utilice un adaptador y no utilice un cable de extensión o alargador.

• No almacene ni utilice gasolina u otros vapores y líquidos inflamables en las proximidades de este o
cualquier otro refrigerador de bebidas. Los humos pueden crear un peligro de incendio o explosión.
• No repare ni reemplace ninguna pieza del refrigerador de bebidas ni intente realizar ninguna operación
de mantenimiento a menos que se recomiende específicamente en las instrucciones de mantenimiento
para el usuario o en las instrucciones de reparación para el usuario publicadas. Sustituya el fusible por
uno del mismo tipo.
• El traslado y la instalación del aparato deben ser llevados a cabo por dos personas como mínimo. De lo
contrario, se pueden producir lesiones en la espalda u otras lesiones.

• El minibar no está diseñado para el adecuado almacenamiento de medicamentos. Lea las
instrucciones del prospecto del medicamento.

INSTALACIÓN
Para que la instalación del minibar sea óptima es oportuno garantizar la aireación practicando aberturas
para la entrada y la salida del aire según se indica en la figura 03.
AIREACIÓN
El sistema refrigerante emite calor y requiere una buena aireación. Por eso no es adecuado para ambientes
que no estén perfectamente ventilados. El minibar debe instalarse en un ambiente provisto de una abertura
que asegure la necesaria renovación del aire (ver figura 03) y es indispensable no cubrir ni obstruir las
parrillas de ventilación. Además no debe emplazarse en un lugar expuesto directamente a la luz solar ni
cerca de otras fuentes de calor.
CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA Y PUESTA A TIERRA
Antes de enchufar la clavija en el tomacorriente, asegurarse de que la tensión de la red coincida con la
indicada en la placa de los datos técnicos (ubicada en el interior del minibar) y que el tomacorriente esté
dotado de conexión a tierra como prescriben las normativas de seguridad sobre instalaciones eléctricas.
Además, el tomacorriente debe poder soportar la potencia máxima absorbida por el aparato, que está
indicada en la placa.
¡ATENCIÓN!
Si el tomacorriente no está dotado de un equipo de conexión a tierra, o si se utilizan tomas múltiples o
adaptadores, el Fabricante se exime de toda responsabilidad por eventuales daños a personas o cosas y/o
al minibar mismo.
¡ATENCIÓN!
Es obligatorio que el usuario está en condición de alcanzar fácilmente el enchufe de alimentación.
USO
Al conectar el enchufe a la toma de corriente, el minibar funciona inmediatamente, a menos que la perilla
del regulador de la temperatura esté en posición “0” (ver figura 02).
AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA
La perilla del termostato para el control de la temperatura está situada en la parte superior del revestimiento
interno del refrigerador.
Para configurar la temperatura interna, ajuste la perilla de control en función de la temperatura ambiente, o
en función de la finalidad del uso del refrigerador.
El control de la temperatura permite los siguientes ajustes:
• posición 0 = refrigerador apagado
• posición 1 = mínima refrigeración (temperatura interna más alta)
• posición 2 = refrigeración media (temperatura interna intermedia)
• posición 3 = máxima refrigeración (temperatura interna más baja)

MANTENIMIENTO
• Limpie regularmente el interior y el exterior del frigorífico utilizando solamente agua tibia y
detergente neutro.
• Tras el lavado, enjuáguelo con agua limpia y séquelo perfectamente con un paño suave.
• No utilice: productos específicos para cristales y espejos; detergentes líquidos, en polvo, o en
aerosol; disolventes; alcohol; amoniaco o productos abrasivos.
• Caso de que no se utilice el minibar, se aconseja secar bien el interior y dejar la puerta
semiabierta para ventilar el interior.
En caso de que funcione en forma anómala o no funcione, verificar si:
a) la clavija está insertada correctamente en el tomacorriente;
b) la tensión de la red coincide con la indicada en la tabla de DATOS TÉCNICOS;
c) la perilla de regulación de la temperatura no está en la posición “0”;
d) el minibar está cerca de fuentes de calor o bajo el sol;
f) el frigorífico ha sido instalado garantizando el respecto de las aberturas de ventilación.
SÓLO PARA LAS VENTAS DENTRO DE LA
COMUNIDAD EUROPEA (UE)
Este aparato está marcado en conformidad con la Directiva Europea 2012/19/EU (WEEE). El
símbolo presente en el producto indica que este último no debe ser tratado como un residuo
doméstico.
Este producto debe ser tratado como un RAEE profesional, por lo que debe garantizarse que no
entre en la cadena de los flujos de residuos urbanos.
