Il condizionatore a tetto Plein-Aircon, è l’innovativa proposta di IndelB per il condizionamento di camper-van per
i quali sia possibile fornire un’alimentazione elettrica 12 V cc (a catalogo esiste anche, come optional, un kit per
l’alimentazione 12 V cc - 230 V ac 50 Hz).
Può funzionare in 2 modalità (di cui una opzionale):
- a 12 V (modalità standard), collegato alla batteria dei servizi. Il condizionatore può funzionare sia in sosta
sia in marcia.
- a 12 V e 230 V (modalità opzionale), collegato alla batteria dei servizi e alla rete elettrica (necessita di 230 V
Smart Switch transformer kit, optional). Il condizionatore può funzionare sia in sosta sia in marcia.
Il gruppo a tetto Plein-Aircon, include al suo interno tutti i componenti necessari per la funzione condizionamento
(il condensatore, l’evaporatore, il compressore ermetico ed i ventilatori) ed è abbinato ad un di󰀨usore aria con
bocchette regolabili, da installare all’interno contro il cielo del veicolo.
Di facile installazione, è su󰀩ciente il collegamento elettrico per la messa in funzione.
Il condizionatore è dotato di un circuito chiuso con ridotta necessità di manutenzione e funziona con refrigerante
R134a.

FUNZIONAMENTO
GENERALITÁ
●MODALITÀ DI LAVORO: condizionamento , deumidicazione , ventilazione .
●VELOCITÀ DI VENTILAZIONE: auto, alta, media, bassa.
●
SALVA BATTERIA: se il valore di tensione della batteria ausiliaria, a cui è collegato il condizionatore,
scende al di sotto di ~10 V, il sistema di protezione ferma il funzionamento dell’impianto. Questa
condizione viene visualizzata attraverso il lampeggio in modo alternato dei led verde e rosso posti
vicino al pulsante MIN-MAX sul di󰀨usore d’aria. Il lampeggio dei led permane no a quando il
valore di tensione della batteria non ritorna al di sopra di 11,5 V, consentendo così all’impianto di
riprendere il funzionamento precedentemente interrotto (senza l’ausilio di un intervento manuale).
●Funzione TIMER per l’accensione e lo spegnimento programmato.
●Funzione SLEEP per il funzionamento notturno.
●Funzione CLOCK sempre presente per la visione dell’ora corrente.
●Il telecomando funziona con 2 batterie 1.5 V tipo AAA (vedi fig. 03)
●Pulsante MIN-MAX: premendo il pulsante MIN-MAX posto sul diffusore d’aria, la potenza può
essere aumentata manualmente (vedi DIFFUSORE ARIA).

minima velocità.
▼ TEMP ▲ Permettono di scegliere la temperatura desiderata fra 15 °C e 30 °C.
TIMER
Permette di scegliere in sequenza: ON←OFF (accensione programmata); ON→OFF
(spegnimento programmato); (nessuna programmazione).
Quando è impostata una programmazione il tasto ˄ ˅ permette di scegliere il tempo
desiderato da 1h a 16h.

FUNZIONAMENTO
●É previsto un ritardo di 3 minuti tra un avvio e l’altro per la protezione del compressore.
●La funzione AUTO e la funzione RISCALDAMENTO sono disabilitate quindi la
pressione dei relativi tasti sul telecomando NON produce alcun e󰀨etto.
ATTENZIONE
●
L’aria trattata viene distribuita dal diffusore all’interno del veicolo attraverso due serie di feritoie, con
la possibilità di orientare il flusso mediante i deflettori interni regolabili manualmente (vedi fig. 05).
È anche possibile scegliere di avere una maggiore quantità di aria da un lato piuttosto che dall’altro
e viceversa spostando manualmente il deflettore interno mediante il cursore posto al centro del
diffusore (vedi fig. 05).
●
Il pulsante MIN-MAX, posto sul diffusore (vedi fig. 04), consente all’utilizzatore di scegliere la
potenza in base alle proprie esigenze: MIN (minima potenza) - MAX (massima potenza).
L’impianto si attiva sempre in modalità MIN, anche se allo spegnimento precedente si trovava in
modalità MAX.
Ad ogni pressione del pulsante corrisponde una variazione della modalità di funzionamento fra
MIN e MAX.
La modalità di funzionamento attiva, viene visualizzata mediante l’accensione del led corrispondente:
MIN = verde; MAX = rosso.
La durata di accensione del led attivo, è impostata in 5 minuti; trascorso tale tempo si spegne per
non disturbare con la sua luminosità, per esempio, il riposo notturno.
La modalità di funzionamento MAX può rimanere attiva a tempo indeterminato; per questo motivo,
anche se l’impianto è salvaguardato dal sistema di SALVA BATTERIA, è necessario porre
attenzione alla carica residua della batteria a cui è collegato.
DIFFUSORE ARIA
˅ TIME ˄ Permette di modificare il tempo nelle funzioni ad esso dedicate.
CLOCK Permette di regolare l’orologio. Premere CLOCK; a seguire premere SET per scegliere
i digit da modicare; premere il tasto ˄ ˅ per modificare l’ora o i minuti scelti.
SLEEP
Spegne l’impianto dopo 8 ore dall’attivazione e durante questo periodo di tempo la
temperatura aumenta gradualmente di 2° rispetto alla temperatura impostata.
Funziona solo nella modalità: condizionamento .
LOCK Premere il tasto con un oggetto appuntito per bloccare / sbloccare la tastiera.

●
Il ricevitore a infrarossi “B.1”, posizionato sul diffusore aria (vedi fig. 04), è anche dotato di un
pulsante RESET che consente di riportare la scheda elettronica alle condizioni iniziali (per premere
il pulsante utilizzare un oggetto appuntito).
●Il ricevitore a infrarossi “B.1”, posizionato sul diffusore aria (vedi fig. 04), è dotato di due led: verde
e giallo che forniscono informazioni sullo stato di funzionamento dell’impianto.

CONSIGLI D'USO
●
Plein-Aircon è progettato per raffreddare e deumidificare il vostro mezzo nelle calde e afose notti
estive.
Se acceso in funzione MAX subito dopo lo spegnimento dell'aria condizionata tradizionale può
prolungarne il benefico effetto anche di giorno.
●Per migliorare l'efficienza del condizionatore si consiglia, se possibile, di parcheggiare il camper-
van al riparo dai raggi solari.
●Per migliorare l'efficienza del condizionatore si consiglia di tenere chiusi i finestrini del camper-van
per evitare dispersioni di aria fresca ed immissione di caldo e umidità.
●
Per migliorare l'efficienza del condizionatore si consiglia, durante le brevi soste diurne del camper-
van esposto ai raggi solari, per ridurre l'aumento di temperatura dovuto all'effetto serra, di tenere
leggermente aperta la seconda botola sul tetto (se presente).
●
Nell'uso a batteria, per migliorare l'efficienza del condizionatore si consiglia, all'accensione, di
impostare una temperatura iniziale piuttosto bassa per abbattere velocemente l'impatto iniziale del
caldo accumulato nel camper-van dopo una lunga esposizione ai raggi solari ma successivamente,
a regime, di impostare una temperatura solo di qualche grado più bassa rispetto alla temperatura
esterna.
Così facendo, il condizionatore funzionerà effettuando cicli di lavoro nelle condizioni ottimali,
riducendo decisamente il consumo di energia e garantendo comunque una temperatura a bordo
gradevole e non troppo fredda.
Ricordiamoci che il benessere percepito deriva sicuramente dall'abbattimento della temperatura
ma soprattutto dalla riduzione dell'umidità. Infatti Plein-Aircon, oltre a raffreddare l’aria,
contemporaneamente la deumidifica permettendo di avere un buon comfort termico anche a
temperature elevate, grazie al suo effetto deumidificante. É quindi inutile richiedere 18° C quando
esternamente ci sono 35° C.

●La manutenzione del condizionatore è alquanto ridotta.
●
Evitare di lasciare inattivo a lungo il condizionatore ma avviarlo almeno una volta al mese anche nei
periodi invernali, in quanto il funzionamento garantisce la lubrificazione di alcuni componenti che
tenderebbero ad essiccarsi se lasciati inattivi per molto tempo.
●
La pulizia della copertura esterna e del diffusore interno va eseguita periodicamente asportando
la polvere mediante un panno umido. Se necessario utilizzare un detergente non aggressivo. Non
utilizzare benzina o solventi.
●
È sufficiente pulire annualmente la batteria condensatrice (togliendo la copertura esterna) mediante
aria compressa, avendo cura di non danneggiare le alette in alluminio.
Su di esse, si possono depositare insetti, lanuggine ed altri corpi che portano ad una riduzione
dell’efficienza dello scambiatore di calore.
Contemporaneamente è opportuno verificare il funzionamento dell’elettroventola del condensatore.
E’ da tenere presente che la pulizia del condensatore e la verifica della corretta ventilazione sono
operazioni estremamente importanti.
Infatti un condensatore molto sporco o non ventilato non solo provoca una riduzione delle prestazioni
dell’impianto di condizionamento, ma può causare una riduzione della vita del compressore o
addirittura una rottura dello stesso.
Una volta ogni due mesi, occorre pulire con aria compressa i filtri “B.2” presenti sui fianchi del
diffusore (vedi fig. 06).
E’ consigliabile sostituire i filtri ogni anno.
E’ opportuno evitare di mettere in funzione il condizionatore senza filtri, in quanto si potrebbe
accumulare sporcizia sulla batteria evaporatrice che causerebbe una riduzione dell’efficienza
dell’impianto.
Il condizionatore viene già fornito carico di refrigerante e collaudato. Il refrigerante utilizzato è
l’R134a e la carica è di: vedi CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE.
L’impianto frigorigeno ermetico, è sottoposto ad un accurato controllo per individuare eventuali
anomalie e fughe di gas.
●
Prima di e󰀨ettuare interventi o manutenzioni che implichino lo smontaggio della
copertura gruppo a tetto e del di󰀨usore aria, quindi possibile contatto con parti
elettriche, SCOLLEGARE la batteria del veicolo e SCOLLEGARE ogni alimentazione
230V.
●In presenza del condizionatore a tetto, non entrare mai con il camper-van in una
stazione di lavaggio automatica.
●Eventuali riparazioni oppure interventi per la carica e recupero di refrigerante, devono
essere eseguiti presso o󰀩cine autorizzate IndelB e da personale qualicato.

The Plein-Aircon roof-top air conditioner is an innovative IndelB product to be installed on campervans equipped
with a 12 Vdc power supply (an optional 12 Vdc - 230 Vac 50 Hz power supply kit is available on the catalog).
It can operate in two modes (one of which is optional):
- 12 V (standard mode), connected to the service battery. The air conditioner can work if the vehicle is either
stationary or moving.
- 12 V and 230 V (optional mode), connected to the service battery and to the mains (it requires a 230 V Smart
Switch transformer kit, optional). The air conditioner can work if the vehicle is either stationary or moving.
The Plein-Aircon roof-top unit includes all the necessary components for the air conditioning function (the
condenser, the evaporator, the hermetic compressor and the fans) and it is combined with an air di󰀨user equipped
with adjustable vents, to be installed indoors against the roof of the vehicle.
Easy to install, only the electrical connection is needed for start up.
The air conditioner is equipped with a closed circuit with reduced need for maintenance and it works with a R134a
coolant.

OPERATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
●OPERATION MODE: air conditioning , dehumidifying , ventilation .
●FAN SPEED: auto, high, medium, low.
●
BATTERY PROTECTION: if the voltage value of the auxiliary battery, to which the conditioner is
connected, falls below ~10 V, the protection system stops the system operation. This condition is
displayed by alternately ashing the green and red LEDs located near the MIN-MAX button on the
air di󰀨user. The ashing of the LEDs remains until the battery voltage value returns above 11.5
V, thus allowing the system to resume operation that was previously interrupted (without manual
intervention).
●The TIMER function for programmed switching on and o󰀨.
●The SLEEP function for night-time operation.
●The CLOCK function is always on to view the current time.
●The remote control works with 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries (fig. 03).
●MIN-MAX button: by pressing the MIN-MAX button on the air di󰀨user, you can manually increase
the power (see AIR DIFFUSER).
REMOTE CONTROL (g. 03)
KEY FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
I/O (ON/OFF) It turns the air conditioner on/o󰀨.
MODE It allows to choose in sequence among the 3 working modes: air conditioning ,
dehumidication , ventilation .
FAN
Allows you to choose sequentially between ventilation speeds: auto, high, medium,
low.
In dehumidication mode (at start-up), ventilation is always at minimum speed.
▼ TEMP ▲ They allow to choose the desired temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C.
TIMER
It allows to choose in sequence: ON←OFF (tempo nelle funzioni); ON→OFF (scheduled
shutdown); (no scheduling).
When a schedule is set, the ˄ ˅ key allows to choose the desired time from 1h to 16h.

OPERATION
●There is a 3-minute delay between start-ups to protect the compressor.
●The AUTO function and the HEATING function are disabled, so pressing the relevant
buttons on the remote control DOES NOT have any e󰀨ect.
CAUTION
●
Treated air is distributed from the di󰀨user to the interior of the vehicle through two sets of slots, with
the possibility of directing the ow by means of manually adjustable internal deectors (g. 05).
You can also choose to have more air from one side than the other and vice versa by manually
moving the internal deector using the slider located in the center of the air di󰀨user (g. 05).
●
The MIN-MAX button, located on the air di󰀨user (g. 04), allows the user to choose the power
according to his or her needs: MIN (minimum power) - MAX (maximum power).
The system is always activated in MIN mode, even if it was in MAX mode when it was previously
switched o󰀨.
Each press of the button corresponds to a change in the operating mode between MIN and MAX.
The active operating mode is indicated by the corresponding LED lighting up: MIN = green; MAX
= red.
The start-up duration of the active LED is set to 5 minutes; after this time it turns o󰀨 not to disturb
with its brightness, for example, the night rest.
The MAX mode of operation may remain active indenitely; therefore, even if the system is
safeguarded by the BATTERY SAVER system, attention must be paid to the residual charge of
the battery to which it is connected.
AIR DIFFUSER
˅ TIME ˄ It allows to modify the time in the dedicated functions.
CLOCK It allows to adjust the time. Press CLOCK; then press SET to choose the digits to be
changed; press ˄ ˅ to change the chosen hour or minute.
SLEEP

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Plein-Aircon is designed to cool and dehumidify your vehicle during hot and sultry summer nights.
If it is switched on in MAX mode immediately after the traditional air conditioning has been turned
o󰀨, it can prolong its benecial e󰀨ect even during the day.
●To improve the e󰀩ciency of the air conditioner, it is advisable, if possible, to park the camper-van
away from the sun.
●To improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is advisable to keep the windows of the campervan
closed to avoid dispersion of fresh air and intake of heat and humidity.
●
To improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is advisable during the short daytime stops of the
camper-van exposed to sunlight, in order to reduce the temperature increase due to the greenhouse
effect, to keep the second roof hatch (if present) slightly open.
●
During the use in battery mode, in order to improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is
advisable to set a rather low initial temperature when it is turned on, in order to quickly reduce the
initial impact of the heat accumulated in the campervan after a long exposure to the sun's rays,
but subsequently, when it is running, set a temperature only a few degrees lower than the external
temperature. By doing so, the air conditioner will operate by performing work cycles under optimal
conditions, definitely reducing energy consumption, and still ensuring a pleasant and not too cold
temperature on board.
Remember that the perceived well-being results from the lowering of temperature but, above
all, from the reduction of humidity. As a matter of fact, Plein-Aircon, in addition to cooling the air,
simultaneously dehumidifies it, allowing for good thermal comfort even at high temperatures,
thanks to its dehumidifying effect. It is therefore useless to set 18° C when the outside temperature
is 35° C.

●The maintenance of the air conditioner is quite limited.
●
Do not leave idle for a long time but start the air conditioner at least once a month even in winter,
since the operation ensures the lubrication of some components that would dry out if left idle for a
long time.
●The outer cover and internal air diffuser should be cleaned periodically, using a damp cloth to
remove dust. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Do not use gasoline or solvents.
●
It is sufficient to clean the condenser coil annually (by removing the outer cover) with compressed
air, taking care not to damage the aluminum fins.
On them, insects, lint, and other bodies can be deposited, leading to a reduction in the efficiency
of the heat exchanger.
At the same time it is advisable to check the operation of the condenser electric fan.
It must be kept in mind that cleaning the condenser and checking that it is properly ventilated are
extremely important operations. In fact, a very dirty or unventilated condenser not only causes a
reduction in the performance of the air conditioning system, but it may also cause a reduction in the
life of the compressor or even break it.
Once every two months, it is necessary to clean with compressed air, the lters "B.2" on the sides
of the air di󰀨user (g. 06).
It is advisable to replace the filters every year.
It is advisable to avoid operating the air conditioner without filters, as dirt may accumulate on the
evaporator coil causing a reduction in the efficiency of the system.
The air conditioner is supplied loaded with refrigerant and tested. The refrigerant used is R134a and
the load is: see TECHNICAL FEATURES.
The hermetically cooling system is subjected to careful control to detect any anomalies and gas
leaks.

Before performing any work or maintenance involving the removal of the roof
unit cover and the air di󰀨user, which may result in contact with electrical parts,
DISCONNECT the vehicle battery and DISCONNECT any 230V power supply.
●If there is a rooftop air conditioner, never drive your camper-van into an automatic
wash station.
●Any repairs or work on refrigerant charging and recovery must be carried out by
authorized IndelB workshops and qualied personnel.

Le climatiseur de toit Plein-Aircon est la proposition novatrice d’IndelB pour climatiser les camper-van, où il est
possible de fournir une alimentation électrique de 12 V cc (dans le catalogue est présent, en option, un kit pour
l’alimentation 12 V cc - 230 V ac 50 Hz).
Il possède 2 modes de fonctionnement (dont un en option):
- en 12 V (mode standard), branché à la batterie de service. Le climatiseur peut fonctionner aussi bien à
l’arrêt qu’en roulant.
- en 12 V et 230 V (mode optionnel), branché à la batterie de service et au secteur (requiert le 230 V Smart
Switch transformer kit, en option). Le climatiseur peut fonctionner aussi bien à l’arrêt qu’en roulant.
Le groupe de toit Plein-Aircon comprend à l’intérieur tous les éléments nécessaires au fonctionnement du
climatiseur (le condenseur, l’évaporateur, le compresseur hermétique et les ventilateurs) et est combiné à un
di󰀨useur d’air à buses réglables, à installer à l’intérieur contre le plafond du véhicule.
Facile à installer, il su󰀩t la connexion électrique pour le mettre en fonction.

FONCTIONNEMENT
GENERALITES
●MODE DE TRAVAIL: climatisation , déshumidication , ventilation .
●VITESSE DE VENTILATION: auto, haute, moyenne, basse.
●
PROTÈGE-BATTERIE: si la valeur de tension de la batterie auxiliaire, à laquelle le climatiseur est
branché, descend en dessous de ~10 V, le système de protection stoppe le fonctionnement de
l’installation. Cette condition est indiquée par le clignotement alterné des leds verte et rouge situées
à côté du bouton MIN-MAX sur le di󰀨useur d’air. Le clignotement des leds dure jusqu’à ce que la
valeur de tension de la batterie ne remonte au-dessus de 11,5 V, permettant ainsi à l’installation
de recommencer à fonctionner comme précédemment (sans l’aide d’une intervention manuelle).
●Fonction TIMER pour la mise en marche et l’arrêt programmé.
●Fonction SLEEP pour le fonctionnement nocturne.
●Fonction CLOCK toujours présente pour visualiser l’heure.
●La télécommande fonctionne avec 2 piles 1.5 V de type AAA (fig. 03)
