•For use Outdoors. Failure to ensure connections are properly protected against water ingress during installation may void warranty.
•Do not mount near gas or electric heater.
•Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not readily be subjected to tampering by unauthorized personnel.
•The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
•Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.

TO OPEN THE UNIT: Open the unit and service the if necessary. When closing,
ensure that wires are not pinched and proceed to screw all
screws (10x).
Unscrew exterior screws from the product with a screwdriver.

A. Use code-approved connectors to connect input leads inside
J-box [See label on wire pair for positive and negative polarity
colors].
B. On the mounting plate, open the desired keyhole junction-
box knockouts.
C. Route input connector through center hole in mounting plate.
D. Taking care not to pinch wires or connectors dressed inside
junction box, secure mounting plate to junction box screws.
NOTE: to ensure proper engagement of the mounting plate
latches to the housing, DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE
SCREWS.
E. The unit, as shipped, is designed to be mounted on a
smooth rigid surface to allow foam pad to tightly seal. If
mounted to other surface, the installer should apply silicone
to the top and sides of the unit to seal and prevent water
ingress from the back of the unit.

IMPORTANT: Provide DC power supply from 5V through 20V for SP640L, 7V through 30V for SP1100L and SP2200L, un-
switched circuit used for emergency lighting.
WARNING: During installation of remotes, opposite polarity wires from main unit to remote units must NOT be connected to
each other or connected to ground. Failure to do so will lead to failure of the main unit.
NOTE: The maximum mounting height with tilt and swivel lamp heads are shown below to meet the minimum illumination
requirements of NFPA 101 (Current Life Safety Code).

LAMP AIMING
1With lamp heads aimed, begin by
tightening the nut until the gasket is
fully compressed.
(Torque spec: 20 in-lbs)

With unit open, loosen the nut
and screw and aim the lamp
head to the desired position. 3
