un año contado desde la entrega del producto al
comprador original, el producto estará libre de
defectos de material y mano de obra.
Si el producto tuviese defectos de material o
mano de obra por los cuales no sea apto para los
fines y usos previsibles, Comercial e Industrial
Silfa S.A. a su costo reparará o reemplazará el
producto, según decida a su entero arbitrio.
Será de cargo del comprador original los costos
asociados con embalar y hacer llegar el producto
a Comercial e Industrial Silfa S.A. en la siguiente
dirección: Cerro Los Cóndores N° 9760, comuna
de Quilicura (teléfono: 56-2-23399048, email:
[email protected]). Junto con el producto, el comprador
original deberá hacer llegar también el compro-
bante de venta y los antecedentes que demues-
tren que la Garantía Voluntaria se encuentra
vigente.
Por su parte, será de cargo de Comercial e Indus-
trial Silfa S.A. los gastos de enviar el producto
reparado o reemplazado al comprador original.
Esta Garantía Voluntaria no surtirá efecto si el
propietario repara o modifica el producto por su
cuenta o mediante terceros ajenos a Comercial e
Industrial Silfa S.A., o si el producto sufrió daño
como resultado de uso incorrecto.
En ningún caso la Garantía Voluntaria será aplica-
ble durante el periodo de vigencia de la Garantía
Legal, cualquiera sea la duración de esta última.
Los derechos que otorga la Garantía Legal no
serán aplicables durante la vigencia de la Garantía
Voluntaria. Asimismo, la presente Garantía Volun-
taria en ningún caso extenderá los plazos de la
Garantía Legal.

Top Tether ( ® Dual Tether ): Top Tether is a fix attachment
system for the connection between child car seat and vehicle
seats having the 3rd point of anchorage according to UN ECE
Regulation No. 14.

Dual Tether is an advanced Top Tether system consist of a
length of straps, two tether adjusters and a snap hook on the
end of the strap.

This child car seat is suitable for children up to 36 KG. (Group 0+, I, II, III-from birth to
approximately 12 years of age).

This is a "Universal" child restraint. It is approved to Regulation No. 44, 04 series of amendments,
for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats.
A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the
vehicle is capable of accepting a "Universal" child restraint for this age group.
This child restraint has been classified as "Universal" under more stringent conditions than those
which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.

This Child Restraint is classified for
"(Restricted/Semi-universal)" use and is
suitable for fixing into the seat positions
of the following cars:
Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with lap/3 point/static/with retractor
safety-belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
Please ensure that the child restraint system is completely installed and fixed correctly, the rigid
items and plastic parts of a child restraint shall be so located and installed that they are not
liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by a movable seat or in a
door of the vehicle.
For rearward facing systems, not to use them in seating positions where an active frontal air
bag installed.
This is an ISOFIX CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM. It is approved to Regulation No. 44, 04 series of
amendments for general use in vehicles fitted with ISOFIX anchorages systems.
It will fit vehicles with positions approved as ISOFIX positions (as detailed in the vehicle
handbook), depending on the category of the child seat and of the fixture.

2. Preparatory Work and Functions
2.1 Prepare ISOFIX
If your car is not equipped with the ISOFIX guide socket,
please insert the guide socket (02) into the ISOFIX anchor
(01).
TIP: ISOFIXanchors are located between the backrest
and seat cushion.
Press the ISOFIX button (03), push rearward to the longest
position, then insert the ISOFIX connectors (15) into the
guide socket (02) one by the other, an audible “click” will
be heard, with the ISOFIX indicator (16) turns to green.
Make sure the child car seatis installed with ISOFIX, rear-
ward facing and in fullest recline position.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47)
to release the Top Tether strap (48) to the maximum or
desired length.
Thread the Top Tether strap (48) through one of the belt
guides (17) with the one at the inner side of the vehicle
seat.
Hold the Top Tether adjusterA (46) horizontally, and use
the other hand pull the strap with the snap hook (18), to
the maximum or desired length.
Hook the snap hook (18) onto the Top Tether anchorage
point recommended in your vehicle handbook. Look for
this signin your vehicle or check with your vehicle
dealer.
CAUTION! The ISOFIX connectors (15) are secured ONLY
when both indicators (16) are completely green.
2.2 Prepare Top Tether ( ® Dual Tether )

CAUTION! The Top Tether ( ® Dual Tether ) is
secured ONLY when the indicator is completely green.
Hook the snap hook (18) onto the Top Tether anchorage
point recommended in your vehicle owner's guide. Look
for this sign in your vehicle or check with your vehi-
cle dealer.
Tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster A (46) until the
Top Tether adjuster B (47) sat on top of the backrest of
vehicle seat.
Ensure the child car seat is at the desired recline posi-
tion, and then tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster
B (47) until the indicator shows green.

Press down on the central adjuster (04) and pull the
shoulder belts (05) towards you, (DO NOT pull on the
shoulder pads (06)) release the 5-point harness as far as
it will go.
Pull upwards on the adjusting ring (07), whilst pulling up or
pushing down the headrest (08) to the required position.
Adjusting the height of the headrest (08) will allow for the
shoulder belts (05) to be the same level as the child’ s
shoulders.
CAUTION! The shoulder belts (05) must not run behind the
back of the child, at ear height, or above the ears.

2.2.2 Group I, Forward Facing
Make sure the child car seatis installed with ISOFIX and
forward facing.
Press the release button of the Top Tether adjuster B (47)
to release the Top Tether strap (48) to the desired length.
Hold the Top Tether adjuster A (46) horizontally, and use
the other hand pull the strap with the snap hook (18), to
the maximum or desired length.
Hook the snap hook (18) onto the Top Tether anchorage
point recommended in your vehicle owner's guide. Look
for this sign in your vehicle or consult with your vehi-
cle dealer.
Tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster A (46) until the
Top Tether adjuster B (47) sat on top of the backrest of
vehicle seat.
Ensure the child car seat is at the desired recline posi-
tion, and then tighten the free end of Top Tether adjuster
B (47) until the indicator shows green.
