TheEntraSeriesof loudspeakerscontinuesInfinity’s
longstaiidingcommitmentto accuratesoundreproduction,

drivers,precisiondividingnetworks,andrigid,well-braced
enclosurescombineto deliveruncompromisedperformancein
anystereoor multichannelhome-theatersystem.Inaddition,
EntraSeriesspeakersaremagneticallyshieldedfor safe
placementadjacentto atelevision.

Beforedecidingwhereto placeyourEntraspeakers,surveyyour
roomandthinkaboutplacement,keepingthefollowingpoints
in mind,usingFigure1 asaguide:

Forrear-channeluse,placeEntraOnespeakersonbookshelves
or stands- or Entrafloorstandingspeakersonthefloor-
alongsidethelisteningposition.Finalplacementdependson
roomacoustics,availabilityof spaceandyourlistening
preference(Figure2).
Thecenterchannelspeakershouldbeplacedontopof or
directlybelowthetelevisionandaimedtowardsIhelisteningarea.

Refer to Figure4 as you perform ttic following steps:
‘I. ‘TheEntra’bo and EntraThree come with the round end of
their feet exposedfor use on hard-surface floors.To expose
the spiked end of the feet, lay each speaker on,its side and
usethe enclosed wrench Lounscrewand removethe Four
feet. Screwthe round end of each foot into its hole and
hand-tighten a nut onto each foot. Leavea minimum of 5/S”
of exposedspike.(Onthicker carpets,you can increase the
length of exposedspike up to lJ/8:‘)
2. Carefully stand each speaker upright to sit on its feet.
3. If needed,adjust the feet so each speaker is level and then
tighten each nut with the enclosedwrench,

Forspeakerconnections,usea minimum$116~gaugespeaker
wirewithpolaritycoding.‘& sideof thewirewitha ridgeor
othercodingis usuallyconsideredpositivepolarity(i.e.,+).
ANTEIf desired,const~ltyourlocalInfinitydealeraboutspeaker
wireandconnectionoptions.
Thespeakershavecodedterminalsthataccepta varietyof wire
connectors.Themoslcommonconnectionis shownin Figure5,
Toensureproperpolarity,connecteach+ terminalontheback
of theamplifieror receivertotherespective+ (red)terminalon
eachspeaker,asshownin Figure6.Connectthe- (black)
terminalsin a similarway.Seetheowner’sguideslhatwere
includedwithyouramplifier,receiverandtelevisionto confinn
connectionprocedures.

Checkthespeakersfor playbackfirst bysettingthesystem
volumecontroltoa lnininlun~level,andthenbyapplyingpowerto
youraudiosystem.Playa favoritemusicor videosegmentand
increasethesystemvolumecontroltoa comfortablelevel.
TE:Youshouldhearbalancedaudioreproductionacrossthe
entirefrequencyspectrum,If not,checkall wiringconnectionsor
consulttheauthorizedInfinitydealerfromwhomyoupurchased
thesystemfor morehelp.
Theamountof bassyouhearandthestereo-imagequalitywill be
affectedbya numberof differentfactors,includingtheroom’s
sizeandshape,theconstructionmaterialsusedto buildthe
room,thelistener’spositionrelativeto thespeakers,andthe
positionofthespeakersintheroom,
Listento a varietyof musicselectionsandnotethebasslevel,
If thereistoomuchbass,movethespeakersawayfromnearby
walls.Conversely,if youplacethespeakerscloserto thewalls,
therewill bemorebassoutput.
Nearbyreflectingsurfacescanadverselyaffectstereo-imaging
quality.If thishappens,try anglingthespeakersslightlyinward
towardthelisteningpositionuntiltheoptimumeffectis achieved.
EachEntraSeriescabinethasa ~f~oo(l~grain-vinylfinishthat
doesnotrequireanyroutinemaintenance,Whenneeded,use
a softcloth,dampenodwithwateronly,to removeany
fingerprintsor dust.
Cleanthegrille bygentlevacuuming

loudspeakerswerepurchasedwasauthorizedbyInfinitytosellsuchproductsatthetimeoforiginalpurchaseand(3)theoriginal,datedBillof
Saleispresentedwheneverservi.ceisrequiredduringthewarrantyperiod.ThiswarrantyisonlyvalidforservicewithintheUnitedStatesand
doesnotapplytoproductspurchasedelsewhere;otherpurchasersshouldcontacttheirlocalInfinitydistributorforwarrantyinformation.
Exceptasspecifiedbelow,thiswarrantycoversalldefectsin originalmaterialsandworkmanship. The followingarenotcovered: damage caused
byaccident,misuse,abuse,neglect,productmodification;damageoccurringduringshipment;damagecausedbyfailuretofollowinstructionsin
theowner?guide,includingfailuretoperformrecommendedperiodicorroutinemaintenance;damageresultingfromrepairsbysomeone not

proceduresand/orprovideadequatepackingmaterials.
