Safety Information
The HD sound bar is designed and manufactured to operate within dened design limits, and misuse may result in electric shock or
re. To prevent the HD sound bar from being damaged, the following rules should be observed for its installaon, use, and mainte-
nance. Please Read the following safety instrucons before operang the HD sound bar. Keep these instrucons in a safe
place for future reference.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock or component damage, switch o the power before connecng other components to the HD
sound bar.
• Unplug the power cord before cleaning the HD sound bar. A damp cloth is sucient for cleaning.
• Do not use a liquid or a spray cleaner on the HD sound bar. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Always use the accessories recommended by the manufacturer to insure compability.
• When moving the HD sound bar from an area of low temperature to an area of high temperature, condensaon may form in the
housing. Wait before turning on the HD sound bar to avoid causing re, electric shock, or component damage.
• A distance of at least 3 feet should be maintained between the HD sound bar and any heat source, such as a radiator, heater,
oven, amplier etc. Do not install the HD sound bar close to smoke. Operang the HD sound bar close to smoke or moisture may
cause re or electric shock.
• Slots and openings in the back and boom of the cabinet are provided for venlaon. To ensure reliable operaon of the HD
sound bar and to protect it from overheang, be sure these openings are not blocked or covered. Do not place the HD sound bar
in a bookcase or cabinet unless proper venlaon is provided.
• Never push any object into the slots and openings on the HD sound bar enclosure. Do not place any objects on the top of the HD
sound bar. Doing so could short circuit parts causing a re or electric shock. Never spill liquids on the HD sound bar.
• The HD sound bar should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the label on the AC/DC Adapters. If you
are not sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your dealer or local power company.
• Only power of the marked voltage can be used for your HD sound bar. Any other voltage than the specied voltage may cause
re or electric shock.
• The power cord must be replaced when using dierent voltage than the voltage specied. For more informaon, contact your
dealer.
• The HD sound bar AC/DC Adapters are equipped with a three-pronged grounded plug (a plug with a third grounding pin). This
plug will t only into a grounded power outlet. This is a safety feature. If your outlet does not accommodate the three-pronged,
have an electrician install the correct outlet, or use an adapter to ground the HD sound bar safely.
• Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounded plug.
• When connected to a power outlet, power is always owing into the HD sound bar. To totally disconnect power, unplug the
power cord.
• The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-iso-
lated, dangerous voltage within the inside of the HD sound bar that may be of sucient magnitude to constute a risk of electric
shock to persons.
• The exclamaon point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operang and
servicing instrucons in the literature accompanying your HD sound bar.
• Do not overload power strips and extension cords. Overloading can result in re or electric shock.
• The wall socket should be located near the HD sound bar and be easily accessible.
• Do not touch the power cord during lightning. To avoid electric shock, avoid handling the power
• cord during electrical storms.Unplug the HD sound bar during a lightning storm or when it will not be used for long periods of
• me. This will protect the HD sound bar from damage due to power surges.
• Do not aempt to repair or service HD sound bar yourself. Opening or removing the front cover may expose you to high voltages,
electric shock, and other hazards. If repair is required, contact your dealer and refer all servicing to qualied service personnel.
• Keep the HD sound bar away from moisture. Do not expose the HD sound bar to rain or moisture. If water penetrates into the HD

sound bar, unplug the power cord and contact your dealer. Connuous use in this case may result in re or electric shock.
• Do not use the HD sound bar if any abnormality occurs. If any smoke or odor becomes apparent, unplug the power cord and
contact your dealer immediately. Do not try to repair the HD sound bar yourself.
• Avoid using dropped or damaged appliances. If the HD sound bar is dropped and the housing is damaged, the internal compo-
nents may funcon abnormally. Unplug the power cord immediately and contact your dealer for repair. Connued use of the HD
sound bar may cause re or electric shock.
• Do not install the HD sound bar in an area with heavy dust or high humidity. Operang the HD sound bar in environments with
heavy dust or high humidity may cause re or electric shock.
• Ensure that the power cord and any other cables are unplugged before moving the HD sound bar.
• When unplugging the HD sound bar, hold the power plug, not the cord. Pulling on the power cord may damage the wires inside
the cord and cause re or electric shock. When the HD sound bar will not be used for an extended period of me, unplug the
power cord.
• To reduce risk of electric shock, do not touch the connector with wet hands.
• Insert the baery in accordance with instrucons. Incorrect polarity may cause the baery to leak which can damage the remote
control or injure the operator.
• If any of the following occurs, contact the dealer:
• The power cord fails or frays.
• Liquid sprays or any object drops into your HD sound bar.
• HD sound bar is exposed to rain or other moisture.
• HD sound bar is dropped or damaged in any way.
• The performance of the HD sound bar changes substanally.

Mounting the Sound Bar
IMPORTANT:
The INF7020 must be mounted to a stand or placed on feet before following these instrucons. Review the stand/feet manufactur-
er's user documentaon for more informaon.
1) Remove the exisng feet from the sound bar and set the feet aside. NOTE: The feet can be used to oor or wall mount the
sound bar, if you do not want to aach the sound bar to the monitor.
2) Remove the screws which hold the two plasc covers on the back of the monitor. Remove the covers.
3) From the back of the monitor, slide the ush-side of the sound bar bracket mounng arms underneath the cables and align the
arms with the screw holes. NOTE: The sound bar bracket ships with the INF7020.
4) Aach the bracket to the back of the monitor using the provided screws.
5) From the front of the monitor, aach the sound bar to the mounng bracket with the provided screws, being careful not to
pinch the cables.
6) Tighten all the screws securely.

Connecting the Sound Bar to the INF7020
INPUT 2 INPUT 1
S/PDIF SUB OUT 24V DC
Connector Descripon
24V DC Used for connecng the power adapter.
S/PDIF An SPDIF Opcal connector used with an alternate source device such as a home theater system, amplier, re-
ceiver, set top box or DVD Player.
SUB OUT Used with an amplied subwoofer input.
INPUT 1/2 Analog audio connectors (L/R) used with the INF7020, INF7020 or an alternate source device such as a TV, home
theater system, amplier, receiver, set top box or DVD Player.
1) Connect the analog (RCA L/R) audio cable on the back of the monitor to INPUT 2 on the back of the sound bar.
2) Oponal for use with a sub-woofer: Connect one end of the sub-woofer audio cable to SUB OUT on the back of the sound bar,
and the other end to the analog sub-woofer output of a stereo/home theater system.
1) Oponal for use with a dierent source device: Connect an opcal (SPDIF) cable from the opcal output on the source device to
S/PDIF. Note: Set the source device output mode to PCM. Refer to the source device user documentaon for more informaon.
2) Connect the power adapter cable from the monitor to the 24V DC jack on the back of the sound bar.
3) Turn the Power buon ON using the sound bar control panel or remote.
4) Press the INPUT buon on the sound bar or the remote to toggle between the sources (INPUT 2 is the default).

LED Panel Overview

The LED panel on the sound bar turns on when adjustments are being made. Within a couple of seconds aer adjustments have
been completed, the LEDs turn o.

1White The soundbar has been turned on.
2White* Blinks White when Input 1 is the chosen source input. Displays solid white when volume is being adjusted.
3 White* Displays solid white when volume is being adjusted.

*Each LED volume indicator has three brightness levels for a total of 18 volume sengs. As the volume is increased, the brightness of
the LED volume indicators also increases.

Remote Overview
Buons Descripon
Power Turns the sound bar on and o.

Inserting the Remote Battery

1) Turn the remote control over. Press inward to release the lock.
2) Slide the baery holder out of the remote using your ngernail. Remove the protecve plasc sheet by pulling straight out
from the remote.
3) Insert the CR2025 Lithium buon baery into the baery holder with the (+) symbol aligned with the (+) symbol on the baery
holder.
4) Re-insert the baery holder into the remote.
Cauon:
• When replacing the remote baery, be aware that using any baery than a CR2025 Lithium baery may risk severe damage to
the remote. When disposing of old baeries, be sure to do so in an enviromentally proper manner.
• If the remote control gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
• Avoid excessive heat and humidity.
• Ensure the baery polarity (+/-) is aligned correctly.
• Replace the baery as soon as it runs out.
• When not using the remote control for a long period of me, remove the baery.
• Keep baeries away from children and pets.
Operating the Remote
To operate the remote, point the remote at the remote control sensor in the lower right side of the sound bar. The range of opmum
operaon is about 30 feet (10m), 30° to the le and right, 20° up and down.

Maintenance
1) Unplug the sound bar from power.
2) Moisten a so, dry cloth with water.
3) Lightly wipe the cleaning cloth over the sound bar.
4) Wipe dry with a so, dry cloth.
WARNING: Do not allow liquids to enter the sound bar. Spilled liquid may damage your sound bar.
WARNING: Do not aempt to service this product yourself as opening and removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage
and other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel.
Troubleshooting
Symptom Troubleshoong Tips
No power Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the power outlet and to the sound bar power
adapter.
Make sure the power adapter is securely connected to the sound bar.
Press the Power buon on the sound bar control panel or the remote control.
No sound Press the Volume + buon on sound bar control panel or the remote control.
Verify that the source is correctly selected.
Verify that the source device is powered on and eming audio to the external port.
Verify that the Mondopad soware is not muted.
Verify that the audio cables are securely connected between the source device and the sound bar.
Audio distoron The sound bar is designed for standard line-in level input signals which are a MAXIMUM 2 Volt
RMS. The sound bar is not intended to be connected to the output of an amplied audio source
such as a Home Theater speaker output or MP3 Player headphone jack. Doing so may damage the
sound bar.
Buzzing or humming Verify that the audio cables are securely connected between the source device and the sound bar.
Try a known good audio cable.
Aach a dierent speaker to the source device to locate source of the problem.
Sengs are lost when the
sound bar is unplugged
Leave the sound bar connected to AC. Otherwise, the sound bar will return to factory default
sengs.
No sound when connected
to Opcal In
Change the source device output to PCM. Refer to the source device user documentaon
for more informaon.
The sound bar is not respond-
ing to the remote
Replace the remote baery.

When an error occurs, the volume strip (LEDs #1 - 7) turns solid except for the LED which indicates which error condion is occurring
(that LED will be ashing). LEDs #8-10 are not used for error condions.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Subject to the Limitaons, Exclusions and Disclaimers hereof, InFocus Corporaon ("InFocus") warrants that the soundbar (hereinaf-
ter collecvely or individually referred to as "Product" as appropriate) will conform to InFocus' specicaons and be free from defects
in material or workmanship for the respecve Limited Warranty period provided below. If the Product, while subject to this Limited
Warranty, is defecve in material or workmanship during the warranty period, then InFocus, at its opon, will REPAIR or REPLACE the
Product. InFocus' sole obligaon is to supply (or pay for) all labor necessary to repair the Product found to be defecve within the
Limited Warranty period and to repair or replace defecve parts with new parts or, at the opon of InFocus, serviceable used parts
that are equivalent or superior to new parts performance, but shall not exceed the return of the amount of the purchase price paid
by the purchaser.
Limited Warranty Periods are as follows:
Soundbar Product Limited Warranty Period: One (1) year from date of proof of purchase.
Accessory Product Limited Warranty Period: Ninety (90) days from date of purchase.
WARRANTY LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION
THIS WARRANTY SETS FORTH INFOCUS' MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR ITS PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO PRODUCTS PUR-
CHASED FROM INFOCUS OR AN INFOCUS AUTHORIZED RESELLER.
InFocus shall have no further obligaon under the foregoing Limited Warranty if the Product has been damaged due to abuse, mis-
use, exposure to smoke, accident, service other than by InFocus or its authorized agents, or failure caused other than from ordinary
use or failure to properly use the Product in the applicaon for which said Product was intended. In addion, failure of the end-user
to follow maintenance procedures as outlined in the Product's user guide will not be covered under this Warranty. Finally, InFocus
shall have no further obligaon if InFocus Product was subjected to operang condions outside of the range specied in the user's
guide or in this warranty. This warranty does not cover maintenance/repair/replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
Remanufactured Products are exempt from the foregoing Limited Warranty. Please refer to the appropriate Remanufactured Product
Limited Warranty for applicable Warranty informaon.

THE WARRANTY PRINTED ABOVE IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IM-

LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD
The Limited Warranty periods hereof commence on the date of proof of purchase by the end-user customer. SOME JURISDICTIONS
MAY GRANT YOU CONSUMER RIGHTS WITH MINIMUM WARRANTY DURATION THAT DIFFER FROM THE DURATIONS PROVIDED
HEREIN, AND INFOCUS WILL HONOR ALL SUCH CONSUMER RIGHTS UPON PROOF OF PURCHASE IN THAT JURISDICTION. To Obtain
Warranty Service: During the Limited Warranty period, to exercise this Limited Warranty, the purchaser must rst contact 1) InFocus
(Mailing address: InFocus Corporaon, 13190 SW 68th Parkway, Suite 200, Portland, OR 97223-8368 USA; or via the web at www.
infocus.com/support), 2) a service facility authorized by InFocus or 3) the place of original purchase. For Warranty service, the
purchaser will pay to return or deliver the defecve Product and will pay all freight, duty, taxes, VAT, fees, incidental clearance and
customs charges to ship the unit to an InFocus Service Center or to a service facility authorized by InFocus. When returning Product
to InFocus, a Return Material Authorizaon Number (RMA #) is required and must be clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping
carton or a similar package aording an equal degree of protecon. InFocus or the service facility authorized by InFocus will return
the repaired/replaced Product freight prepaid to the purchaser.
