SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•INNOTECH LOCK sh uld nly be installed by specialised/c mpetent experts familiar with
the safety system and in c mpliance with the current state f the art.
•Y u must be familiar with these instructi ns, as well as with the l cal safety regulati ns as
a prerequisite f r installing and using the system. Y u must als be physically and
mentally fit and trained in the use f PPE (Pers nal Pr tective Equipment) .
•Medical c nditi ns (cardi vascular pr blems, intake f medicines, alc h l) can affect the
safety f the user when w rking in high places.
•C mply with the respective accident preventi n regulati ns when installing/using the
INNOTECH LOCK anch rage device.
•A plan must be available that specifies rescue pr cedures f r all p ssible emergencies.
•Bef re starting the w rk, y u must ensure that n bjects can fall t the gr und fr m the
w rk site. The area bel w the w rk site (sidewalk, etc.) must be kept clear.
•The fitters must ensure that the gr und is suited f r fixing the attachment device. If in
d ubt c nsult a structural engineer.
•If uncertainties arise during installati n it is imperative that y u c ntact the manufacturer.
•D cument the pr fessi nal fastening f the fall arrest system t the building with ph t s
f each fitting situati n.
•Ensure that stainless steel d es n t c me int any c ntact with swarf r steel t ls, as this
may lead t c rr si n.
•Y u sh uld plan, install and use the anch rage p int in such a way that n ne can fall ver
the edge if the pers nal pr tective equipment is used pr perly.
•At the access t the r f safety system, d cument the p siti ns f the anch rage devices
by means f diagrams.
•The minimum free space necessary between the edge and the gr und is calculated as
f ll ws:
Manufacturer's specificati n f the pers nal pr tective equipment used, including
deflecti n f the cable + b dy height + 1m safety margin.

•Fastening n the INNOTECH LOCK always ccurs thr ugh the eyeb lt with a carabiner and
must be used with pers nal pr tective equipment in acc rdance with EN 361 (safety
harness) and EN 363 (fall arrest system).
•F r h riz ntal use, nly th se fasteners may be used that are suited f r this purp se and
have been tested f r the respective edges (sharp edges, sheet with trapez idal
c rrugati ns, steel girder, c ncrete, etc.).
•There is a hazard when c mbining individual elements f the specified units, since the safe
functi n f ne f the elements can be impaired thr ugh the c mbinati n.
•Bef re use, y u must visually check the entire fall arrest system f r bvi us defects (e.g.
l se screws, def rmati ns, abrasi n, c rr si n, etc.).
If in d ubt relative t safe functi n f the anch rage p int it must be taken ut f service
and sent t the manufacturer f r inspecti n.
•At least nce a year, an expert must check the c mplete safety device including the
pers nal pr tective equipment used. The inspecti n by an expert must be d cumented in
the pr vided test l g.
•The INNOTECH LOCK was devel ped f r pers nal safety and may n t be used f r ther
purp ses. Never attach undefined l ads t the restraint system.
•D n t make any changes t the enabled anch rage device.
•If y u pr vide the restraint system t external c ntract rs, the instructi ns f r installati n
and use must be handed ver in writing.
+The c ncrete must be in perfect c nditi n and with ut n ticeable flaws.
+If p ssible d n t w rk ab ve the anch rage p int.

+After a fall, st p using the pr duct and have it checked by the manufacturer.
+D n t all w any c ntact between the anch rage p int and chemicals r ther aggressive
substances. C ntact the manufacturer if in d ubt.

A LICATION
As anch rage p int f r 2 people (including 1 pers n f r first-aid administrati n) with pers nal
pr tective equipment EN 361 (safety harness) and EN 363 (fall arrest system).
The INNOTECH LOCK-11 receptacle sleeve is permanently m unted t the structure and when
n t in use it is c vered with a pr tective cap. If necessary the rem vable INNOTECH LOCK-13
anch rage p int can be l cked int the receptacle sleeve.
STANDARDS
INNOTECH LOCK has been tested and certified in acc rdance with EN 795 class A.
The test was additionally executed both statically and dynamically on the original
substrate concrete and steel.

INSTALLATION OSSIBILITIES INNOTECH LOCK-11:
The basic prerequisite is a static, carrying substructure.
If in d ubt c nsult a structural engineer
Attenti n: the single anch rage p int can be plastically def rmed!
FASTENING IN CONCRETE
C ncrete quality at least C16/20.
ATTENTION only fasten receptacle sleeves in structural concrete!
D n t fasten in screed, levelling c ncrete, blinding c ncrete, etc.
ADHESIVE:
HILTI HY 150 r FISCHER FIS V360S, r at least
equivalent.
Strictly f ll w the riginal instructi ns pr vided by
the adhesive manufacturer!
•B re in structural concrete:
Diameter: Ø 24 mm, max. Ø 25 mm
Depth: min. 110 mm (see Fig. n the right)
•Clean b re by bl wing it ut and brushing it.
•B nd in INNOTECH LOCK-11 in acc rdance with the
instructi ns f r installati n and use pr vided by the
adhesive manufacturer.
•Check f r firm seat.
If in doubt about the substrate or the fastening, strictly ensure that pull-out tests are
executed to ensure the strength of the substructure!
• ull-out test:
The receptacle sleeves are fitted with M10
female thread f r this purp se.
Screw the M10 hex b lt at least 15 mm int the
female thread f the INNOTECH LOCK-11
receptacle sleeve.
The b lt can n w be used f r the pull- ut test.
Test f rces in acc rdance with installati n

FASTENING INNOTECH LOCK-13 (ANCHORAGE POINT)
in the previ usly-installed INNOTECH LOCK-11 receptacle sleeve
rior to use comply with the safety instructions!
•Take the pr tective cap ff f the receptacle sleeve.
•Press the unl cking tab n the anch rage p int int the
centre f the LOCK-13 unit and keep it depressed.
•Slide the LOCK-13 int the receptacle
sleeve until it hits the spring,
and then release the unl ck unl ck tab.
•N w press the anch rage p int deeper int
the receptacle sleeve until an audible "click"
is pr duced.
The mark in the centre must n w be visible (flush).
Check the anch rage device f r firm seat.
•T detach the anch rage device,
h ld the anch rage p int tightly
and simultane usly press the unl ck tab
int the marked p int in the centre.
The LOCK-13 will unl ck and y u can rem ve it.
•If the LOCK-11 will n t be used c ver
it with the pr tective cap.
