Quick Installation Guide
Innotech Security EXCA233BNC Series Indoor Recessed Dome Camera
1. Install according to instructions and in conformance with all local codes
2. Do not subject cables/wiring to stress or crimping
3. Only use Innotech supplied accessories, brackets and housings if required
4. Only use power sources with proper ratings
5. Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical/electrical shock or radiation
6. Do not point the camera at strong light
7. DO NOT TOUCH THE CAMERA LENS
Camera gimbal (snap-lock) with video-out cable (yellow BNC),
power-in cable (red DC jack), base & dome
Separate power plug cable (red wire/black DC plug)
Separate test monitor cable (black wire/yellow connector/white
plug
(1) Allen Wrench, (1) Dome Key, (4) Screws, (4) Toggle Bolts
1. Remove the dome, remove the camera gimbal (grasp & pull
out from base), remove the plastic grommet from the base.
2. Prepare a camera mount cut out 3.75 inches in diameter for
camera mounting and drill 4 mounting holes using the camera
base as a template (use the holes without brass inserts).
3. Attach the base to the prepared camera mount cut out using
the screws and toggle bolts provided.
4. Connect the power-in/power plug cable to the appropriate
power supply through the base bottom (grommet).
5. Connect the camera video-out cable to the appropriate video-
in connector on the recording or display device through the
base bottom (grommet).
6. Re-insert the camera gimbal.
7. Apply power to the power supply.
8. Attach the test monitor cable (provided) to the test monitor
connector on the camera gimbal & use a test monitor for lens
adjustments.
9. Adjust the camera lens position (by rotating the camera
gimbal), adjust the zoom (outer ring), adjust the focus (inner
ring).
10. Adjust the camera OSD settings (refer to: Quick Camera Setup
Menu for the appropriate camera sensor).
11. Remove the test monitor cable & re attach the dome.
To remove gimbal, pull straight up from base
To install gimbal, insert straight into base
To rotate gimbal in base, hold by hinges & turn
*** Always hold camera gimbal by the hinges ***
