5 Unplug from the outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or
taking o parts, and before cleaning the wae
maker.
6 Do not operate the wae maker with a damaged
cord or plug or after the wae maker
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner. Return the wae maker to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
7 The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the wae maker’s manufacturer
may cause injuries, re, or electric shock.
8 Do not use outdoors.
9 Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10 Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or in a heated oven.
11 Do not use the wae maker for other than its
intended use.
12 Make sure that your household voltage
corresponds to the voltage stated on your wae
maker’s rating label.
13 Allow your wae maker to cool completely before
moving it.
14 This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully
into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.

BEFORE USING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER FOR
THE FIRST TIME
1Remove all packaging materials.
2Wipe the cooking plates with a sponge or cloth
dampened in warm water.
Caution: Do not immerse your wae maker in water, and do
not run water directly onto the cooking plates.
3Dry the plates with a cloth or paper towel.
USING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER
Note: The rst time you heat your wae maker, it may emit some
smoke or odor, which is normal. This does not aect the safety of
your wae maker.
For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little
cooking oil or cooking spray.
1Close your wae maker and plug it into a power outlet.
The power light turns on.
Preheating takes approximately two to four minutes.
When your wae maker is preheated, the power light
turns o.
2Open the lid, then pour the wae batter until it just
covers the raised squares on the bottom plate.
Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.

DESCRIPTION
Use to easily move and store the wae
maker when not in use.
Locks the lid into place.

3Close the lid and latch the handle lock. The light turns
on.
The wae cooks for approximately two to four
minutes. When your wae is done cooking, the light
turns o again.
4Unlatch the handle lock and use the handle to open
the lid, then use a plastic spatula to remove the
contents. Never use metal tongs or a knife because
these can damage the non-stick coating on the
cooking plates.
5Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and
leave your wae maker open to cool.
STORING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER
1Unplug your wae maker.
2Make sure that your wae maker is cool.
3Clean and dry the cooking plates and exterior, if
necessary.
4Close the lid and lock it into place.
5 Wrap the power cord around the cord wrap bracket on
the base of your wae maker.
6Use the handle to move the wae maker.
Note: The wae maker can be stored upright.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Do not disassemble your wae maker for cleaning.
• Never immerse your wae maker in water or place it in
a dishwasher.
• Do not use anything abrasive (such as metal scouring
pads or steel wool) that can scratch or damage the
non-stick coating or exterior nish.
• Do not use metal utensils to remove food residue
because they can damage the non-stick surface.
To clean your wae maker:
1Unplug your wae maker and let it to cool before
cleaning. The cooking plates are easier to clean when
they are slightly warm.
2Wipe the cooking plates with a soft, damp cloth or
sponge to remove food residue. For baked on food
residue, squeeze some warm water mixed with
detergent over the food residue or place a wet paper
towel over the residue to soften it. Remove the residue
with a non-abrasive, plastic scouring pad, then wipe
the cooking plates with a soft damp cloth or sponge.
3If necessary, wipe the outside of your wae maker with
a damp cloth.
