This Quick Install Guide presents the rudimentary steps required to set
up and operate this device. For specications and detailed instructions,
refer to the user manual 1) on the CD enclosed with this product; 2) on
the Web site listed below; or 3) in some cases, printed and enclosed
with this product. Contact your INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS
dealer with comments or questions, or visit www.intellinet-network.com
for information on the latest software and rmware updates, related
products and additional contact information.
*This quick install guide can also be used for the PowerLine Turbo
Ethernet Adapter Starter Kit, Model 503822.
hardware installation
1. Plug the included Ethernet cable into the computer’s Ethernet port.
2. Plug the other end of the Ethernet network cable into the Ethernet
port of the PowerLine Turbo Ethernet Adapter.
3. Plug the PowerLine Turbo Ethernet Adapter directly into an electrical
outlet. NOTE: Because the adapter sends data over the power lines
of your home or ofce, it’s recommended that you not plug the device
into a power strip with surge protection, nor a UPS (uninterruptible
power supply). The adapter has its own power lter for protection
against surges.
The installation of the PowerLine Turbo Ethernet Adapter is now complete!
To congure the adapter, proceed to Software Installation.
software installation
1. Insert the included
utility CD into the
computer’s CD-ROM
drive; click on the
"Setup.exe" icon to
continue.

2. When the InstallShield Wizard welcome screen displays, click “Next”
to continue.
3. When the Choose Destination Folder screen displays, it indicates
that the system is automatically searching for the destination location.
You can just click “Next” to continue.
4. When the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen displays, click “Finish”
to complete the installation.
