The CD-6208 is esigne for the playback of CD-DA, MP3, or WMA.
Please use a CD with following mark:
- Make the label si e upwar when inserting a CD in the isc slot.
- Open a CD case with hol ing the right en ing part of a case with the left han an hol the both si es
with the right han from below.
- Take off the CD with lightly hol ing both si es with the right han while pressing the center of the case
with in ex finger.
- Lightly wipe out the CD with a soft cloth if fingerprint or irt is staine on the signal si e (opposite the label
si e). Wiping out irt or fingerprint gently with a smooth cloth. Keep isc clean an store it in its case
when not being playe .
- Do not use any recor spray, anti-static solutions, benzene an paint thinner or other chemical agents to
clean a CD. The surface of a CD may be amage by these chemical agents.
- Please keep the isc in its case after use to avoi serious scratches that coul cause the laser pickup to
skip.
- Keep iscs away from irect sunlight, an places of high heat an humi ity. It may cause eformation.
- Do not paste papers, etc. to the label si e. Do not write on the isc with a ballpoint pen.
- Only use circular compact iscs, Avoi using non-circular promotional, etc. iscs.

1) How to play CD
(1) Insert a isc into the slot, label si e upwar s.
(2) Select CD mo e by pressing the SOURCE button.
If there is no isc, the isplay will in icate as NO DISC.
(3) After a isc is inserte , the isplay will in icate the information as below.
- CD-DA : isplays total number of tracks an total playback time.
Track : 27 tracks
Total Playback Time: 1hour 19min. 10sec.
- CD-MP3 : isplays total number of fol ers an total number of files.

(4) Select a track or a file to playback using the select button an the enco er switch.
- CD-DA: select (I◀◀▶▶I) using the SELECT button an select the track to playback by turning the
ENCODER switch.

(1) Insert a USB memory to the USB terminal.

AUTO Play is the function to preset the source (CD, USB or Memory isc) to playback an to playback
the preset source when the power of the CD-610U is turne on.
1) AUTO PLAY setting
To set the AUTO PLAY function, set the AUTO PLAY switch to ON position.

※ Note : When the unit is powere on when the Auto Play switch is in ON position, the unit will
etect if CD is insete .
If the unit etects a CD, It will automatically play the CD with ALL REAPEAT mo e.
If the unit reliezes that there is no CD then It will try to etect if USB is inserte then It will
automatically play the USB with ALL REAPEAT mo e.
If there are no CD or USB inserte into the unit, the isplay will be appear as “NO USB”.
When the unit is powere on when the Auto Play switch is in OFF position, the unit is in stop
mo e.

Press the PLAY button to start playback at exactly that point.
When the CUE button is presse uring playback, then it goes to the point where music begins on the

Regar less of AUTO PLAY ON/OFF the unit power is interrupte while CD or USB is playing, when
power is back on it will play the beginning of the song that stoppe causing by power interruption.
※ Note : CD-610U can play the MP3 file which has 44.1kHz sampling frequency an 64kbps~320kbps
bit rates.
CD-610U can play the WMA file which has 44.1kHz sampling frequency an
64kbps~320kbps bit rates, or 48kHz sampling frequency an 64kbps~192kbps bit rates.
※Note
1. DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER uring formatting the memory isc, it causes the memory isc
fault.
If the memory isc failure happens, then “ERROR 2” or “READING ERROR” isplays. Consult with
the service personal.
2. Maximum 32GB USB memory can be use .
3. When copying music files in a USB to the internal memory isc, the track number of the copye
files from the USB to the internal memory is numbere accor ing to the or er that files are copye
to the USB. If playback sequence is nee e , then copy files to the USB which has no MP3 files in
the or er of wante playback sequence respectively.
4. Do not insert a CD of 8 cm size into the slot.
