to rea this brief manual an familiarize yourself with the important information regar ing pro uct features,
setup an operation.
As with most electronic evices, we strongly recommen you retain the original packaging. In the unlikely event
the pro uct must be returne for servicing, the original packaging (or reasonable equivalent) is require .

Fourteen channel inputs inclu ing six mono an four stereo channels to accommo ate a wi e array of soun

Operates on AC or DC power for true portability.

Front Panel
1. PHANTOM POWER INDICATOR
This LED in icator lights when phantom power is active at the microphone inputs.
2. PFL INDICATOR LED
This LED lights when any of the Input Channel PFL switches are activate .
3. PHANTOM POWER SWITCH
Pressing this switch activates the +48VDC phantom power supply to all Input Channels, for use with
con enser mics requiring external power.
NOTE: It is safe to connect most mo ern ynamic microphones or line level evices to the channel inputs
when phantom power is activate . However, some ol er ribbon microphones may be amage by phantom
power, an certain unbalance line level evices may malfunction or pro uce an au ible
hum when phantom power is active.
. OUTPUT LEVEL METERS
These multi-segment LED meters isplay the output level as selecte by the Output Monitor Selector Switch (17)(23).
5. CHANNEL OUTPUT ASSIGN SWITCHES
These buttons assign the channel’s input signal to the stereo output bus, or to the Bus 1/2 or Bus 3/4
outputs. Any combination of output busses may be chosen.
6. POWER SWITCH
This switch is use to switch the unit on an off.
When the unit is on, the Power In icator LED (20) is lit.

7. PEAK INDICATORS
These LED in icators light when the input signal to the associate channel is 3 B below clipping. If the
in icator is lit stea ily, re uce the channel’s Trim level (8) to avoi istortion.
8. CHANNEL TRIM (GAIN) CONTROLS
These knobs control the input level for the associate input channel.
9. EQ AND AUX SEND CONTROLS
These knobs control the equalization for the associate input channel. Three ban s of equalization are
provi e :
Low: 100Hz, ±15 B, Shelving type
Mi : 1kHz, ±15 B, Shelving type
High: 10kHz ±15 B, Shelving type
Below the EQ Controls are Aux 1 an Aux 2 Sen Controls. These knobs control the amount of signal sent to
the Aux busses.
10. PAN CONTROLS
These knobs control the L/R balance position for the associate input channel. Depen ing on which output
sources are selecte with the channel’s Assign Switches (5), the Pan Controls will a just the signal between
Left an Right on the stereo bus, an /or between Bus 1/3 an 2/4 on the Output busses 1-4
If the knob is rotate to the center, the channel’s signal will be sent equally to the stereo Left an Right, Bus
1/2 an Bus 3/4 outputs.
If the knob is rotate fully counter-clockwise (to the left), the channel’s signal will be sent only to the s tereo
Left, Bus 1 an Bus 3 outputs.
If the knob is rotate fully clockwise (to the right), the channel’s signal will be sent only to the stereo Right,
Bus 2 an Bus 4 outputs.
11. PFL SWITCHES
These buttons are use to monitor each channel’s output status via the hea phone jack.
When monitoring the channel’s input signal, PFL position allows you to hear the input at a level unaffecte
by the position of the channel’s Output, FX Sen an Pan settings. AFL position will allow you to hear the
input as it appears in the final mix, with Output, FX Sen an Pan settings as selecte for the channel.
12. CHANNEL OUTPUT LEVELS
These knobs control the output level (the level sent to the output bus) for the associate input channel. Levels
of unuse channels shoul be set to the minimum setting.
13. BUS 1 AND 3 MASTER FADERS
These fa ers a just the output level of signals route to Bus 1 an Bus 3.

16. CUE SWITCHES
These buttons are use to select the associate output bus as active, sen ing signals route to that bus to the
rear-panel output connector.
17. OUTPUT MONITOR SELECTOR
These buttons are use to select the output source for monitoring an hea phones output.
18. HEADPHONE OUTPUT
This is a balance 1/4” stereo jack for connection of hea phones for monitoring the outputs of the busses as
selecte by the Output Monitor Selector (17), or to monitor input channels where PFL switches (11) are
selecte .
19. HEADPHONE GAIN
This knob controls the output level of the hea phone jack.
20. POWER INDICATOR
This LED is lit when the power is switche on to the unit.
21. AUX1/2 RETURN GAIN CONTROLLER
This is a gain controller for the returne signal of AUX1/2 RETURN from external evice such as reverb
processor.
22. AUX1/2 RETURN PAN CONTROLLER
This is a PAN level controller for the returne signal of AUX1/2 RETURN from external evice such as reverb
processor.
23. OUTPUT LEVEL DISPLAY SELECTOR
ON : STEREO L/R, PFL, MON, Level
OFF : BUS 1, 2, 3, 4
2 . AUX1/2 SEND GAIN CONTROLLER
These are gain controller for each input channel au io to sen AUX1/2 SEND for external evice such as
effector.

1. AC INPUT POWER
Connect a stan ar three-pin AC cable to this connector. As shown in the illustration below, if you are
connecting a 110-120VAC power source, remove the fuse over (1) an change the voltage selector tap (2)
from the 230V to 115V setting.
2. AC FUSE HOLDER
This hol er contains the AC overloa protection fuse. If the fuse has blown out, replace it with a fuse of the
same type an rating, as shown below.
If the fuse continues to blow, refer servicing to a qualifie service technician.
3. LINE INPUTS 7-1
Line-level inputs on unbalance 1/4” phone an RCA connectors. These are provi e for input of signal
from line-level sources such as keyboar s, guitar preamps, tuner, cassette or CD players, or line outputs
from an external mixer.

5. STEREO CHANNEL INSERT I/O
These unbalance 1/4” TRS jacks are provi e for input an output of an external processor on the
in ivi ual stereo channel. The Insert signal is unaffecte by the Channel Input levels.
6. STEREO OUTPUTS L/R
Line-level outputs on balance 1/4” phone connectors. These are provi e for output of signal route to the
Stereo L/R output busses.
7. MONITOR OUTPUTS
Line-level outputs on balance 1/4” phone connectors. These are provi e for output of signal route to the
Monitor output busses.
8. BUS OUTPUTS 1-
Line-level outputs on balance 1/4” phone connectors. These are provi e for output of signal route to the
Bus 1-4 output busses.
9. DC INPUT TERMINALS
These terminals are provi e for the connection of DC battery power. Connect a 24VDC battery source to
these terminals. Make certain the re terminal is connecte to the battery’s positive (+) si e, an the black
terminal to the battery’s negative (–) si e.
10. EFX SEND AND RETURN
Line-level inputs on unbalance 1/4” phone connectors. These are provi e for the connection of external
effects processors on the master buss.
11. CHANNEL INSERT I/O
These unbalance 1/4” TRS jacks are provi e for input an output of an external processor on the
in ivi ual channel. The Insert signal is unaffecte by the Channel Input levels.
