OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
General
• Thisproductispoweredbyaninternalbuilt-inrechargeablebattery,howeveritcanbeoperatedfromtheexternalbattery
 packusingfour(4)AAsizebatteries(notincluded)whentheinternalbuilt-inbatteryisexhausted.
• Removebatteriesfromtheexternalbatterypackwhichisnottobeusedforanextendedperiodoftime.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.Donotmixalkaline,standard(Carbon-Zinc),orrechargeable(Nickel-Cadmium)
 batteries.
• Removeusedbatteriespromptly.
• Alwayspurchasethecorrectsizeandgradeofbatterymostsuitablefortheintendeduse.
• Replaceallbatteriesofasetatthesametime.
• Cleanthebatterycontactsandalsothoseofthedevicepriortobatteryinstallation.
• Ensurebatteriesareinstalledcorrectlywithregardtopolarity(+and-).
• TheLEDisalifetimelightsource.Itwillneverneedtobereplaced.
• Theoperatingtimeforthisproductdependsonwhetheritisruncontinuouslyorintermittently.Intermittentuseextendsthe
 operatingtimeofasetofbatteries.
• Tocleantheproduct,useonlyadampcloth.Avoidstrongcleaner,excessivewaterandabrasivebrush.

Built-in battery indicator level and charging receptacles
Thebuilt-inbatteryindicatorlightandthecharginginputreceptacles
arelocatedontheleftsideundertherubberflap.
Whenthedeviceisswitchedonandoperatingfromthebuilt-inbattery
itautomaticallydetectsthebuilt-inbatterylevelasfollow:
 • Iftheindicatorlightisflashingredthebatteryisabout40%levelor
  less,andrequirescharging.
 • Iftheindicatorlightisoffthebatterylevelisabout40%levelorabove.
Charging methods
Thebuilt-inbatteryindicatorlightwillturnredwhenisinchargingmode,
andgreenwhenisfullychargedfromeither:
• Acomputerthroughthe USB cable.Ittakes5to6hours
 tofullychargethebattery.(SeeFig.1)
• Avehicle12VDCreceptaclethroughthedetachable 12V DC power cord.
 Ittakes2to3hourstofullychargethebattery.(SeeFig.2)
• Adultuseonly.Thisproductisnotatoy,keepawayfromchildren.
• Donotstaredirectlyatthelightemittedbythisproduct.
• Thebuilt-inrechargeablebatteryisnotreplaceable.Donotopen,shortcircuit,ordestroythebatteryasinjurymayoccur.
• Donotdisposeofproductinregulartrash,municipalwastestreamorbyfireasthebuilt-inrechargeable  
 batterymayleakorexplode.
• Thisproductisresistanttorainandsplashingwater,butitisnotsubmersible.Donotdropintoorimmerseinwater.

• The external battery pack.Ittakes5to6hourstofullychargethebattery.
 1. Pullouttheleftrubberprotectortoaccessthebatterycompartmentcover
  andthenpressandopenthecover(seeFig3&4).
 2. Insertfour(4)AAsizebatteriesfollowingtheorientationshownonthe
  batterycompartment(seeFig5)
 3. Closethecoverandreplacetherubberprotectorback.
 4. Withtheswitchoff,plugintheexternalbatterypackcordintothedevice 
  inputreceptacle(seeFig6)andthedevicewillstartcharging.
 5. Tousethedevicewhilechargingthebuilt-inbattery,simplyturnonthe 
  switch,theLEDwilllightupandthebuilt-inbatteryischargingatthesame
  time.NOTE:withtheexternalbatterypackattached,thesystemcannot 
  bypassthechargingmodeandlightuptheLEDonly.
Attaching the external battery pack to the main device
 1. Afterinstallingthebatteriesintotheexternalbatterypack,alignthetwo 
  screwsfromthebatterypacktothemaindevicebody(seeFig7).
 2. Lifttherubberprotectorcoverfrombeneaththebatterypacktoaccessthe
  twoscrewsandtightenthescrewswithacoinortheaccessoryprovided 
  (seeFig8).
 3. Placetherubberprotectorbackoverthescrewsandpluginthebattery 
  packpowercordintothedeviceinputreceptacle(seeFig9&10).
Maintenance instructions:
NospecificLEDLightmaintenanceisrequired.LEDLighthasnouserserviceable
parts.
Moving and storage instructions:
Movetheproductandaccessoriestothepowersourcelocation.Makesurethe
powercordsarefreeoftwist,kinkandknot.Foldthepowercordsloosely,and
returnlight,DCpowercord,externalbatterypackandUSBcabletopackagewhen
notinuse.”

AllIntexproductshavebeeninspectedandfoundfreeofdefectspriortoleavingthefactory.ThisLimitedWarrantyappliesonlytothe
RECHARGEBALE MULTIFUNCTION LED LIGHT.
TheprovisionsofthisLimitedWarrantyapplyonlytotheoriginalpurchaserandisnottransferable.ThisLimitedWarrantyisvalidforaperiod
ofone(1)yearfromthedateoftheinitialretailpurchase.Keepyouroriginalsalesreceiptwiththismanual,asproofofpurchasewillbe
requiredandmustaccompanywarrantyclaimsortheLimitedWarrantyisinvalid.
Ifamanufacturingdefectisfoundwithinthisone(1)yearperiod,pleasecontacttheappropriateIntexServiceCenterlistedintheseparate
