General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual is part of the Steel Frame Pool (referred to below only as
the “pool”). It contains important information about initial use and
handling.
Before using the pool, read the user manual carefully. This applies in
particular to the safety information. Failure to follow this user manual may result in
severe injury or damage to the pool.
The user manual is based on the standards and rules in force in the European Union.
When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the pool on to third parties, please be
absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Proper use
The pool is designed exclusively for swimming. The pool is suitable for outdoor use
only. The pump and skimmer may be used only in conjunction with this pool and not
with other swimming pools. The pool is intended exclusively for private domestic use
and not for the commercial sector.
Use the pool only as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed improper
and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The pool is not a toy.
The manufacturer and vendor cannot accept liability for damage caused by improper
or incorrect use.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols are used in this user manual, on the product or on the
packaging.
Declaration of Conformity (see the section “Declaration of
Conformity”):
Products marked with this symbol meet all applicable
Community regulations for the European Economic Area.

The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate degree of risk which may lead to
death or severe injury if not avoided.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against potential
damages to property.
Safety instructions
All safety instructions must be read, observed and stored safely
for future reference, before the pool is used for the first time.
These safety instructions cover general risks associated with
leisure activities involving water; however, they cannot cover all
risks and hazards in all circumstances.
It is essential to exercise caution, common sense and good
judgement during any activities in water.
Assembly
− The pool and pool accessories may be assembled and
disassembled by adults only.
− Keep children away from the packaging material and small
parts. Children can become trapped in the packaging material
or swallow small parts when playing and suffocate or choke.
− Ensure that the pool is set up at a location where you
can ensure that no one can access it without permission,
unintentionally and without supervision.
− Do not attempt to assemble the pool in strong wind.
− Ensure that detachable ladders are positioned on a level surface.
− Position the pool on a secure, solid subsurface to ensure safe
assembly. Otherwise the pool may collapse and anyone in the
pool will be washed out and may suffer injury.
− Do not fit any prohibited attachments to the pool and do not
modify it.

Safety of non-swimmers
Continuous, active and attentive supervision of inexperienced
swimmers and non-swimmers by a competent adult is essential at
all times (remembering that the risk of drowning is greatest among
children under the age of six).
− Identify a competent adult who will supervise the pool
whenever it is in use.
− Ensure that children and people with a disability are under
constant, competent supervision by adults.
− Inform anyone who is supervising the pool of the potential
dangers and the use of safety equipment.
− Ensure that inexperienced or weak swimmers and non-
swimmers wear personal protective equipment when using
the pool.
− When the pool is not in use or is unsupervised, remove all toys
from it and from the surrounding area to avoid attracting the
attention of children to the pool.
− Leave toys, chairs, tables and other climbing aids for children
at least 120 cm away from the pool.
Safety equipment
Barriers, pool covers, pool alarms and similar safety equipment are
useful aids, but they are not a substitute for continuous, competent
supervision by an adult.
− Take safety measures to ensure that the pool is not used
without your permission.
− If possible, fit a barrier around the pool (and secure all doors
and windows, as applicable) to prevent anyone accessing it
without your permission.
− Take safety precautions to protect children and pets.
− Keep the area around the pool clean to prevent injuries
caused by slipping or falling over.
− Keep the water clean. This will protect all users of the pool
against illnesses.

− Keep the pool clean and tidy. The floor of the pool must always
be visible from outside.
− Check pins, bolts and screws for rust at regular intervals and
check for splinters and sharp edges to avoid injury (especially
on accessible surfaces).
Safety equipment
− Keep rescue equipment (e.g. a rescue ring) near the pool.
− Always have a functioning telephone and list of emergency
numbers near the pool.
− Ensure that the safety equipment is near the pool and the
emergency numbers near to the closest phone. Examples of
rescue equipment include: a ring buoy with rope approved by
the coastguard or a rescue pole at least 370 cm in length.
Safe use of the pool
Pool owners must familiarise themselves with local and statutory
rules and laws relating to child safety, safety barriers, lighting and
other safety measures. You can contact your municipal information
centre for more details.
− Encourage all users, particularly children, to learn to swim.
− Learn how to take emergency measures that can save lives
(e.g. resuscitation and first aid) and update your skills in these
areas at regular intervals. This can save lives in an emergency.
− Instruct all pool users, including children, in what to do in an
emergency.
− Never jump into shallow water. This can result in serious injury
or death.
− Never jump into the pool head first.
− Never jump into the pool from the ground, from portable
ladders, attachments or other high objects.
− Never throw people or animals into the pool.
− Never lie face down on floating objects. You may roll forward
accidentally and become submerged under water. There is a
risk of drowning.

− Never swim alone and never allow anyone else to do so.
− Do not use the pool if you are under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. This can impair your capacity to use the
pool safely.
− If pool covers are used, remove them completely from the
water surface before climbing into the pool.
− Ensure that detachable ladders are positioned on a level surface.
− Note and follow the warning notices and safety signs on the
pool wall.
− Never jump or dive into the pool.
− Do not lean against or exert pressure on the edge of the pool
to avoid damaging the pool and allowing water to escape. Do
not allow anyone to sit or climb on the sides of the pool.
− If you wish to use the pool at night, ensure that all the warning
notices, ladders, the floor of the pool and the surrounding area
are illuminated sufficiently.
− Do not cover the pool when it is in use.
− Ensure that the cover sheet is removed completely before
using the pool. Ensure that no children or adults are under the
cover sheet as they cannot be seen.
− Keep children away from the covered pool to prevent them
becoming entangled in the cover sheet and drowning or
suffering serious injury.
− The pool is intended for regular use. Ensure that your pool is
correctly maintained. Excessive or rapid deterioration of the
water quality can often damage the pool. As a result, large
quantities of water can escape from the pool.
− Protect pool users from water-borne diseases by treating the
pool water and ensuring good hygiene.
− Store chemicals (e.g. water treatment, cleaning and
disinfection products) out of the reach of children.

− Empty the pool completely if you do not plan to use it over a
lengthy period and store the pool safely so that no rain water
or water from other sources can collect in it. Ensure that it
cannot be blown away by strong gusts of wind. See also the
storage instructions in this connection.
Using the pump and the skimmer
The pump may be used by children over the age of 8 and persons
with impaired physical,sensory ormental capacitiesor those lacking
experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been
instructed in how to use the pump safely and have understood the
risks associated with operating it.
− Children are not permitted to play with the pump and
skimmer. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out
by children without supervision.
− Keep children away from the pump and all electrical cables.
− The pump and skimmer may only be set up and disassembled
by adults.
− Observe national and local regulations during assembly.
− If you are in any doubt about installing and using the pump,
contact a qualified installer or the manufacturer.
− Only use the SKYO-66V125000 transformer in connection with
the 604G pump.
− Always connect the pump transformer to an earthed socket
that is protected by a 30mA fault current circuit breaker. If
you are not certain whether the socket has the appropriate
protection, consult an electrician. Ask the electrician to install
a fault current circuit breaker with a maximum value of 30mA.
Please do not use a portable residual current device (PRCD).
− Always remove the mains plug on the transformer from the
socket before transporting, cleaning or servicing the pump,
removing the float or cover, or doing anything else to it.
− Ensure that the pump and the electrical connection are
accessible once the pump has been installed.

− Do not bury the power cable. The power cable must be
positioned in such a way that it cannot be damaged by lawn
mowers, hedge cutters, etc.
− The connection cable on the pump cannot be replaced. If the
cable is damaged, the pump or transformer must be disposed of.
− To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use extension
cables, timers, etc. to connect the pump to the electricity
supply. Ensure that there is a socket at an appropriate point.
− Do not operate the pump or pull the mains plug out of the
socket when you are in the water or your hands are wet.
− Ensure that the transformer is more than 3.5 m away from the
pool. The electrical connection must be more than 4 m away
from the pool. Contact your local authority regarding the
relevant standards and requirements for electrical installation
of swimming pools and pool equipment.
− Position the pump away from the pool to prevent children
climbing on the pump and jumping into the pool.
− Do not use the pump when there is anyone in the pool.
− Replace damaged elements as quickly as possible. Only parts
approved by the manufacturer may be used.
− Do not change the position of the valve or the size of the filter
sieve.
− Check the filter cartridge and the filter sieves at regular
intervals to ensure that no dirt has accumulated that could
prevent good filtration. The filter media used must also be
disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
− Every time you use the pump, check that the suction openings
are not obstructed.
− Ensure that the cover is never removed or obstructed when
the pump is in use because of the powerful suction force of the
pump.
− Keep hair and hands away from the pump and the hoses while
it is in operation.

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging, you may
damage the pool.
− Be very careful when opening.
1. Take the pool out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig.A–C, E).
3. Check the pool and the individual parts for damage. If this is the case, do not use
the pool. Contact the manufacturer at the service address given on the warranty
card.

Choosing the right location and preparing the
subsurface
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Improper assembly of the pool may cause injury.
− Always assemble the pool with at least 2 adults.
− Read the safety instructions at the start of the user manual.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper assembly of the pool may cause damage to the pool liner
and the pool.
− Do not drag the pool liner over the ground as this can cause
holes and other damage to the pool.
When selecting the correct location, follow the instructions below:

• The subsurface must be flat and even. The pool must not stand on a slope or an
inclined subsurface.
• The subsurface must be sufficiently stable to withstand the weight of a full pool.
The pool must not be positioned on muddy, sandy or loose ground.
• The pool must not be assembled on a terrace, balcony or podium that could
break under the weight of the full pool.
• There must be a gap of 1.2 metres around the pool so that children cannot climb
up on anything and fall into the pool.
• Any grass under the pool will be damaged. Pool water can damage plants when
it is drained.
• Aggressive grasses must be removed before assembly. Certain grass types, such
as St. Augustine and Bermuda, can grow through the pool liner. If grass does
grow through or into the pool liner, this is not a production fault and no claims
may be made under the warranty.
• The ground must allow the pool to be drained of all water after every use and/or
if the pool is stored for a long time.
Setting up the pool
This pool is supplied with a pump and a skimmer. The pool must first be assembled.
The pump and skimmer are then fitted.
Preparing the pool liner
An underlay sheet is not supplied. However, we strongly recommend setting the pool
up on an underlay sheet to protect the pool liner from damage.
1. Find a level, even subsurface for the pool that is free from stones, branches and
other sharp or pointed objects so that the pool liner 1is not damaged.
2. Spread an underlay sheet on the prepared ground.
3. Then spread the pool liner out on the underlay sheet. The outlet valve 14 must
be on the correct side (to allow you to drain the water better). Position the pool in
such a way that the outlet valve is not on the same side as the house.
Assembling the frame
The uprights 4and the crosspieces 8are different. The crosspieces have a larger
diameter and must be fed through the openings in the loops around the top of the
pool. The uprights have a smaller diameter. The uprights and the crosspieces both fit
into the T-connectors 2.
During assembly, the hose connections 15 / 16 must face the power source. The
outer end of the assembled pool must be accessible for a power supply, which is re-
quired for the pump.

They must always work in the same direction.
1. Place the crosspieces through the loop openings in the pool liner 1 .
2. Attach the T-connector to the end of the crosspieces. Repeat this step until all
crosspieces are connected to each other.
The last connection may be difficult to complete. It is easier if you first lift the final
connector and the crosspiece by about 5 cm at the same time and then allow the
crosspiece to slide into the T-connector (see Fig. F, step 1).
Before you move on to assemble the uprights, ensure that the last connection is
fully inserted.
3. Place the uprights into the belt loops in the middle of the pool liner.
4. Insert the top of an upright into the T-connector (see Fig. F, step 2).
5. Insert the bottom of the upright into an upright cap 5 .
6. Repeat this process in the same direction until all the uprights are fitted.
7. Once you have fitted the last upright, hold the crosspieces at various points and
shake the pool to ensure that all of the T-connectors, uprights and crosspieces are
firmly connected to one another.
8. Ensure that all of the connecting pins are correctly in place and are pushed in.
9. Pull the bottom of the uprights carefully outwards and align them all so that they
are exactly vertical and perpendicular to the subsurface.
10. Attach the sticker with the safety symbols 38 to the side of the pool.
Setting up the pump
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Setting up the pump incorrectly may result in injury.
− Read the safety instructions at the start of the user manual.
There are 3 fitting holes on the base of the pump. These holes are provided to allow
the pump to be fitted directly to the ground or a base plate in a perpendicular posi-
tion. The fitting holes are arranged in a triangle with a gap of 135 mm between them
and have a diameter of 7 mm.
The gap between the pump and the pool wall must be appropriate for the length of
the pump hoses 23 . When setting up, it must be ensured that the pump is accessible
for servicing and maintenance at all times.

− In order to prevent the pump from falling over accidentally, fit it to a cement or
wooden base (see Fig. D).
The subsurface must have a load-bearing capacity of more than 18 kg.
The pump is supplied with the air release valve 18 open. The air release valve must
not be screwed shut until you reach step 8. Failure to follow these instructions can
cause air to accumulate inside the pump housing, cause the motor to run dry, become
noisy and break down.
1. Ensure that there is a water connection for filling the pool and the chemicals are
available.
2. First assemble the pool.
3. Insert the nozzle connection (consisting of the inlet connection 26 and pool inlet
nozzle 27 ) from inside into the left hose connection 15 (see Fig. C).
4. Attach the air adapter to the pool inlet 24 on the left hose connection from the
outside with a hose clip 22 .
5. Screw the air jet valve 25 tight to the air adapter of the pool inlet.
6. Insert the filter unit (consisting of the filter connection 29 and filter sieve 28 )
from the inside into the right hose connection 16 .
The right hose connection is marked with a “+” on the pool liner.
7. Insert the two pump hoses 23 into the pump hose connections.
8. Attach the pump hoses with the hose clips.
9. Attach the top pump hose to the right hose connection from the outside with a
hose clip.
10. Attach the bottom hose to the air adapter on the pool inlet with a hose clip.
11. Make sure that all the hose clips are tightened firmly.
Ensure that the air jet valve is screwed tight on the pool inlet air adapter and is
pointing upwards.
12. Unscrew the housing collar 19 anticlockwise and remove it from the pump
housing.
13. Remove the housing cover 20 .
14. Make sure that there is a filter cartridge 21 in the pump housing.
15. Plug the mains cable on the pump into the transformer 30 and tighten the union
nut.
Fitting the skimmer
1. Connect the skimmer hose 33 to the skimmer 35 (see Fig. G, step 1).
2. Connect the stabiliser 32 to the skimmer holder 31 (see Fig. G, step 2).
3. Then plug the stabiliser into the skimmer and fix it in place with the fixing screw
(see Fig. G, step 3).

4. Place the holder over the edge of the pool close to the right hose connection 16 .
5. Attach the holder to the crosspiece 8by tightening the two wingnuts (see Fig.
G, step 4).
6. Unscrew the filter sieve 28 from the filter connection 29 (right hose connection)
(see Fig. G, step 5).
7. Screwing the hose adapter 34 to the filter connection.
8. Attach the other end of the skimmer hose to the hose adapter (see Fig. G, step 6).
9. Insert the filter basket 36 and the floating cover 37 into the skimmer (see Fig. G,
step 7).
10. If necessary, adjust the height of the skimmer by adjust-
ing the stabiliser.
The floating cover must float about 2.5–1.4 cm above the
skimmer.
Ensure that the upper edge of the floating cover is al-
ways on the water surface.
The skimmer must always be at right angles to the water
surface.
Filling the pool with water
It is advisable not to fill the pool with groundwater, borehole or well water. This water
tends to contain organic materials contaminated with nitrates and phosphates. You
are recommended to fill the pool with water from the public drinking water supply.
1. Before you start filling the pool, ensure that the drain plug is closed on the inside
of the pool and that the sealing cap on the outside is screwed tight to the outlet
valve 14 . Fill the pool with max. 2-3 cm of water. Check that the pool is filled even-
ly with water.
If the water in the pool runs to one side, the pool is not entirely level. If the pool
is set up on uneven ground, the water will run to one side and the side wall will
bulge as a result. If the pool is not level, you must drain the water, level the ground
or set up the pool at a different location, and refill it.
2. Start to smooth out any remaining creases (on the inside of the pool) by pulling
out the pool floor and the side wall at the point where they meet.
You can also reach under the side walls of the pool (from outside the pool) and
pull the floor of the pool out. If the underlay liner is causing the creases two people
must pull it out from each side to remove them. Use a properly fitted pool ladder if
you have to climb in or out of the pool during this process.
