Congratulations with the purchase of your INTONO Travel Radio.
This user manual offers information and instructions on how to setup
and use your radio. It will provide you with technical specifications
and information on where to get support.
Please take some time to study this manual. It contains important
safety and regulatory information.
Do not expose the radio to any heat sources
or direct sunlight.
Ensure proper ventilation around the unit at
all times.
Do not open or remove screws from the radio
casing as this will void the limited warranty.
If required, only qualified technicians
are authorized to carry out repairs.
Do not use the radio near water.
Avoid objects or liquids getting into the radio.
Unplug the product from any external power source before
cleaning. Do not clean the radio with strong cleaning agents.
Only clean the product with a dry cloth.
Only use accessories or attachments specified by the
manufacturer.
Ensure that the voltage indicated on the AC adapter
corresponds to the voltage the unit is connected to.
Unplug the unit if the radio will not be used for a long period.

The INTONO Travel Radio has
four modes: DAB radio, FM radio,
Bluetooth and AUX (line input).
(1) Left knob functions
- Hold for 2 seconds for Power ON/STANDBY
- Push for Preset/Recall (depending on listening mode)
- Turn for Volume +/-
(2) Middle knob functions
- Push for DAB/FM/Bluetooth/AUX mode
- Hold for Bluetooth discovery mode
(3) Right knob functions
- Push and hold for 2 seconds for Menu/Return
- Turn to shuffle between options in menus, or to change
FM frequency or DAB stations.
- Push for Enter/OK or for switching between info
- Push and hold for 2 seconds to navigate backwards in any
menu

DAB Radio
Push the middle knob until INTONO Travel Radio shows
«DAB» in the display.
Select a station from station list
- Turn the right knob to browse station list
- Push the right knob to select station.
To store a station
- Push and hold the right knob for 2 seconds
- Turn the right knob until «Preset Store» appears in the
display, and push the right knob to select
- Turn the right knob to select desired position (1 – 10)
- Push the right knob to store
Select a stored station
- Push the left knob to activate preset/recall
- Turn the right knob to browse for desired station
- Push the right knob to select

Full scan
- Push and hold the right knob for 2 seconds
- Turn right knob to browse menu to find «Full scan»
- Push right knob to start the scan
- All available stations will now be listed in the station list
Manual scan
- Push and hold the right knob for 2 seconds
- Turn right knob to browse menu to find «Manual tune»
- Push the right knob to start tuning
- Turn the right knob to find desired frequency
- Push the right knob to select
Prune
This function will remove unavailable stations from station list.
- Push and hold the right knob
- Turn the right knob until «Prune» appears in display
- Push the right knob to select.
- Select «Yes » to activate
DAB Radio

Dynamic Range Compression (DRC)
This function is used to level out the volume in a DAB broad-
cast (volume for louder part of the sound will be turned
down, and for quiet parts it will be turned up).
- Push and hold the right knob for 2 seconds
- Turn the right knob until «DRC» appears in the display,
and push press the right knob to select
- Turn the right knob to browse for desired DRC setting,
and press the right knob to select
- Available selections: Off/High/Low
Broadcast information
View detailed information of the current DAB broadcast by
pressing the right button repeatedly: Signal strength/ Channel
category/ Broadcast network/ Channel & frequency/ Signal
error/ Bitrate & broadcast standard/ Battery status / Time/
Date/ «Now playing».

FM Radio
Push the middle knob until INTONO Travel Radio shows
“FM” in the display.
Search for stations
- Turn the right knob for manual search
- Push the right knob for automatic search. The radio
will search up or down in the frequencies based on the
direction for last manual search
Store a station
- Push the left knob
- Turn the right knob to select desired Pre-set number
- Push the right knob to store
Recall a stored station
- Push and hold the right knob
- Turn the right knob until «Pre-set Recall» appears in
the display, and push the right knob to select
- Turn the right knob to browse for desired Pre-set,
and push the right knob to select

Adjust search sensitivity
Use this setting if you want the search to skip stations with
poor signal quality.
- Push and hold the right knob
- Turn the right knob until «Scan setting» appears in the
display, and push the right knob to select
- Select «All stations» for high sensitivity, or «Strong station»
for low sensitivity
Forced mono mode
Use this setting to reduce background noise when listening
to stations with poor signal quality.
- Push and hold the right knob
- Turn the right knob until «Audio setting» appears in
the display, and push the right knob to select
FM Radio

Bluetooth
Push the middle knob until INTONO Travel Radio shows
“Bluetooth” in the display.
To connect a new device, push and hold the middle
button until “Bluetooth discoverable” appears in the display.
The radio will enter discovery mode automatically when
activated for the first time.
If a Bluetooth device was paired prior, the display will
show “Waiting BT connection”. Your device will reconnect
automatically when available.
Bluetooth pairing name is INTONO TRAVEL RADIO.

AUX
Push the middle knob until INTONO Travel Radio displays
Auxiliary input in the display.
The AUX mode will let you use the INTONO Travel Radio as
an external speaker. Connect any audio device to the middle
connector on the rear of the radio using a mini jack cable.

In system menu, the right knob is used for all settings.
Turn to select, and push to confirm/store.
To enter system menu, push and hold the right knob for
2 seconds, and turn it until “System” appears in the display.
Push the right knob to enter.
To go one step back in any menu, push and hold the right
knob for 2 seconds.
Sleep
This function is a «Sleep timer». When set, the radio
turns off after the chosen number of minutes.
Available selections: Sleep off, or 15/30/45/60/90 minutes.
Timer
This function is a regular timer. An alarm will sound after the
chosen number of minutes.
Available selections: 0 – 120 minutes.

Equaliser
You can select different predefined sound profiles.
Choose between Normal/Classic/Jazz/Pop/Rock/Speech.
For manual sound adjustment, select «My EQ».
Bass: For the bass hungry, adjust the bass level up to achieve
more punch. For the easily scared: adjust it down to reduce
bass power.
Treble: Adjust the treble to control the clarity of the sound.
For example: more treble will usually increase the clarity of
voices.

Time
The clock is automatically adjusted based on radio stations.
But it can also be set manually.
Available selections
Set Time/Date: manual setting/adjustment of time and date
Auto Update: update from any, Update from DAB, Update
from FM, No update
Set 12/24 hour: for selection of 12 or 24 hour time format
Set date format: MM-DD-YYYY or DD-MM-YYYY

Backlight
With this function you can adjust the brightness of the display.
On level
Select the brightness level when display it is not dimmed.
Available selections: High, Medium, Low.
Dim level
Select the brightness level when display is dimmed or radio
is in standby mode. Available selections: High, Medium, Low.
Timeout
Adjust how quickly the display dim down to selected
dim setting when no button has been turned or pushed
for a while:
Always on, or 10/20/30/45/60/90/120/180 seconds.

Language
Choose your preference among the 4 built-in languages:
English, French, German and Italian.
Bat Mode Select
Choose if time and date shall be visible in the display
during standby when using the battery.
Factory Reset
This function will erase all settings and stored stations,
and reset the radio to the standard factory settings.
After factory settings are restored, you’ll be taken to the
first-time startup sequence.
SW version
For service and troubleshooting. Here you can see the
software version currently installed on the radio.
BD address
Displays the network address for the Bluetooth system.

Alarm
Intono Travel Radio can be configured with two separate
alarms.
How to set alarms:
- Push and hold the right knob for 2 seconds
- Turn the right knob until “Alarm setting” appears in
the display
- Push the right knob to enter
- Select the alarm you wish to configure, and follow
the wizard
The alarm settings menu is available in any listening mode.

Take off the
