Thedeviceisafreestanding,non-electricallypowered,
accessoryforconnectiontotheoutputttingofanInvacare
5literoutputoxygenconcentratorthatdeliverslowow
ratesoflessthanone(1)literperminutetoapediatric
patientthroughapediatricnasalcannula.
Inputoxygengasataninputpressureof5.0+/-10%PSI
andataminimumowrateof2litersperminutebya
compatibleInvacare5literoutputoxygenconcentratoris
deliveredtothedeviceinputthroughanexternalextension
tubingaccessory.Theinputgasisroutedtoaninternal
bleedoriceformaintainingaminimumowoutputload
totheoxygenconcentratorformaintainingadequate
oxygenconcentrationvaluesofthedeliveredgasbythe

oxygenconcentrator.Theinputgasisthensuppliedto
theinputofavariableowratedeviceandowmeter
forowrateadjustmentandsubsequentdeliverytothe
outputttingfordeliverytoapediatricpatientthroughan
externallyconnectedadministrationaccessory,apediatric
nasalcannula.
Oxygengasoutputcanbedeliveredtothepatientin
adjustableowratesinthecontinuousowmodeoverthe
rangeof1/16to3/4litersperminute.
Anexternallymountedwaterhumidiercanbeusedin-line
withtheoutputttingtoprovidehumidicationofthe
oxygengasdeliveredtothepediatricpatient.

operationofthedevicetheseinstructionsMUSTbefollowed.
