Configuring Door Strike Power Supply

Purpose
This document outlines the process of configuring the Door Strike Power Supply setting
from IXM WEB.

Description
TITAN, TFACE, TOUCH 2 & SENSE 2 are equipped with the ability to redirect all their
extra power and use it to supply to the Electric Door Strike, removing the need to have 2
separate power sources - 1 for the device and 1 for the door strike. Activating the Door
Strike Power Supply feature will trigger a specified power supply to the connected
strike.
There are two ways to configure the Door Strike Power Supply settings:
1. In IXM WEB, under the Device tab →click the Access Control navigation
tab →Door Strike Power Supply app.
2. From TITAN, TFACE, and TOUCH 2’s LCD menu system →Door Access
app.
To enable this feature, the Door Access Control wiring is different compared to using 2
separate power supplies. Please refer to the respective wiring diagram in the INGUIDE
or the installation guide before configuring this setting in IXM WEB.

Configuring Door Strike Power Supply from IXM WEB
1. From Home >> Click the Device tab on the top >> Select the required Device >>
Navigate to the Access Control tab for the device >> Click on Door Strike Power
Supply.
2. Toggle the “Door Strike Power Supply” switch on the right to enable the Door
Strike Power Supply feature.

3. Change the Mode value to 12V or 24V depending on the installed door strike
specifications. (TOUCH 2 and SENSE 2 only support a 12V door strike.)
4. Click Apply to save the settings to the IXM device.
5. To reset the Door Strike Power Supply settings back to default, click Reset. A “Door
strike power supply settings restored” message will be displayed. Click OK.

Configuring Door Strike Power Supply on the LCD Menu
1. Swipe to the Door Access app from the Menu screen. Tap on the Door Access
icon. The device will prompt for device security authentication before opening the
app (The default PIN is 0000).

2. Tap on Door Strike Power Supply.

3. Toggle Status to ON to enable settings.
4. Select supply mode as 12V or 24V (TOUCH 2 and SENSE 2 only support a 12V
door strike) and tap the Save icon on the top right to store the settings.
