Always plug power cord into a
220-240V outlet. Connect only
to a single outlet, do not share
power supply with multiple
plugs. Remove plug when not
in use.
Do not operate the appliance if
cord or plug is damage. It must
be replaced by the service agent
or qualified agent to avoid any
hazards.
Do not place the appliance in
water or sprinkle water on it.
When adding water, do not
exceed the full level mark.
Boiled water may flow out
from pot.
Do not cover the steam vent with
fabric. Top cover may be
damaged and hot water may be
forced out.
Always carry the kettle by its
handle. Do not embrace, tilt swing
or open top cover during
transportation. Even though the
top cover is being secured, water
may still escape if the kettle is
tilted or overturned.

Please open and hold on to
top cover to pour out remaining
water. Take caution as hot
water may gush out and cause
injuries.
This kettle is only for boiling
water and keep warm. Do not
boil any other liquids.
Do not touch the plug of the
pot as it carries a live current.
Do not operate the plug with
wet hands. It may possibly
cause electric shock.
Do not forcefully close the top
cover. Boiled water may be
forced out. Ensure top cover is
securely closed.
Do not allow children to play
with this appliance. Close
supervision is necessary when
this appliance is in use.
Do not tilt or lean the kettle with
boiled water. Hot water may
escape through the water
outlet and steam vent.
Do not touch the steam outlet
with hand, it may cause scalds.
For safety do not allow young
children totouch kettle.
Do not let cord hang over the
edge of atable or counter or
touch hot surfaces.
Do not open the top cover or
pour water during boiling.
Steam and splattered water
will easily cause scalds.
Do not place kettle on any
unstable surface of cloth. The
kettle may topple and cause
scalds.
Clean the kettle only when it is
completely cold. Be careful
when pouring out remaining
water.
Do not touch the button to
unlock the cover when moving
the kettle. Top cover may be
suddenly opened, causing hot
water to be spilled.
Do not place the kettle close to
the wall, furniture or other
electrical appliances. Steam
and heat may cause damage
to wall, furniture and other
appliances.
Do not place the kettle on your
TV, sound system or any other
appliance. Otherwise your
appliance may be damaged in
case of water leakage.

Do not wet body when adding water.
Add water tothe FULL mark. Do not
add water beyond the FULL mark as it
may cause spills during boiling.
Close top cover after water is added.
Connect the power cord tothe socket.

Wipe body with a clean damp cloth and
do not flush or wash in water.
(water may flow into the cooker from the
base causing electrical damages)
Do not use washing detergents. It may
leave unpleasant odors.
Do not clean with gasoline or turpentine.
(the surface may be damaged.)

Prevent Dry Boiling
ドライ沸騰を防ぎます
If there is no water left in the pot, the
boil-dry protection function will be
activated. Power supply will cut off
automatically to prevent over heating
and further damage. To resume
operation, power off, add water and
power on. (Do not power on if no water is
added into the pot or if water levels are
lower than the water min mark. Do not
boil with top cover open.)
Inner Pot

Wash with sponge and then rinse with clean water. Do not use cleanser or nylon brush.
Discoloration of inner pot
This may be caused by contents of tap water but is not actual discoloring of the pot itself nor
corrosion.
Reddish rust spots (stains)
This may be by the oxidising of iron content in tap water. Remove by frequent wash.
Milky, dark discoloring or discoloring in various colors
Such discoloring is caused by impurities contained in water.
1. Cut lemon into four pieces, wrap the lemon in cloth and place in the inner pot.
2. Pour in water up tothe full level indicator.
3. Boil and keep warm for about an hour.
4. Pour out the water and use a sponge to clean the pot.
5. To remove the smell of lemon, boil water again and dispose the water.

The use of stainless steel cleaner will solve the problem.
1. Pour “Kleen King” powder on a wet sponge and rub on discoloured / spotted areas.
2. Boil water again and dispose the water.

Storage
To store, please ensure that kettle is
thoroughly cleaned and dried. Place in
secured plastic bag before storing to prevent
unwanted pest from getting in.

Water with more minerals (mineral water, water
after treated with ion water purifier) will easily
generate scale which may attach on the internal
tank or floating in the water.

Boiled water has bad
smell
Tap water contains more chlorine which may
generate chlorine smell.Re-boil water one more time
It is normal for new kettle to give off a smell. This smell should go away within 2-3 weeks of
continous usage. If the kettle is placed on cushions or plastics, boiled water may be affected by
smells omitting from the cushion of plastic.

Hot outer coverSince the kettle keeps warm under high temperature, the temperature on the external side of the
pot will reach 65°C. This is normal.
