Download the iOttie Connect app and Amazon Alexa app
from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store on
your smartphone.
Amazon Alexa app will run in the background to receive
voice-activated commands.
Once logged into the Amazon Alexa app, you can set
Music, Navigation and other preferences to use your
favorite Apps.
The iOttie Connect app ensures you have the latest
device firmware installed for optimal performance and
device management.
Follow the instructions in the app and update your device
firmware.
! Make sure you are using a reliable Wi-Fi or Cellular Data Connection and
Power Source.

03 Product Setup
1. Select desired mounting
location on the dashboard
and clean the surface prior to
installation.
2. Remove adhesive cover from
bottom of twist-locking base.
With the arrow facing the driver,
place it in the desired mounting
area.
*Press and hold firmly for 30 seconds to
securely adhere.
3. Connect the Aivo Connect to
twist-locking base, with a 1/4
clockwise turn to lock into place.
4. Connect power cord to back of
Aivo Connect and plug charger
into car’s power source.
! Always be safe, do not set up this device while driving.
! Android Phones: Setup smart unlock on your device. Please add a
trusted device in settings. Certain features only work when smart
unlock is enabled.
! iPhone iOS & other Face ID Users: Do not use while driving!

Using the Automatic Mounting System

Qi Alignment Guide
The Qi Receiver Coil is generally located in the center
area of the phone. Check with your phone’s manufactur-
er for specific Qi coil location. Below are some examples
for commonly used phones.

! The Aivo Connect is powered via a USB-C cable and coin cell phone
battery. There is no on/o switch on the device. Once plugged in,
the device will remain on unless the vehicle shuts o power when in
parking mode.
! Backup battery will continue to operate the Aivo Connect cradle arms
(open & close) after power has been disconnected or turned o.
! CAUTION: If device flashes red a foreign object is detected and device
must be removed to prevent overheating.
! The Qi coil on the mount is located in the center,
in between the arms and around the Infrared Proximity Sensor

Alexa, you can ask to get directions, play music, place calls,
listen to audiobooks, hear the news, check the weather,
control smart home devices, and many more--all while you
keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
The Aivo Connect mount supports access to tens of
thousands of Alexa skills from within your vehicle.
For an optimal experience, please follow the detailed
instructions for Alexa setup found in the manual or the
iOttie Connect app.

• Some Alexa Skills may require an Amazon Prime membership.
• Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is on and connected to your car’s
Bluetooth.
• The Aivo Connect with Built-in Alexa uses your cellular data when not
connected to WiFi. A clear network connection is required for Alexa to
work properly, otherwise there may be delays or interruptions. iOttie is
not liable for data usage.
• Alexa streams from the cloud. Please note that this may use data.
Data charges may apply.
• Alexa streams media instead of local files. Please note that this may
use data. iOttie is not liable for data usage.
• For voice messaging, please allow permission settings by going to
Contacts > Profile and Settings > Permission

2. In the Alexa App, navigate
to Add Device > Auto
Accessory, then select from
available devices: iOttie Aivo
Connect (####) and pair
device. Allow location access
and make sure Bluetooth is
discoverable and turned on.
! WARNING: For your safety, please do not
pair/connect device while driving.
1. After Aivo Connect powers on, hold the Invoke Alexa
Button for 5 seconds to initiate Setup Mode. The
LED Ring will pulse orange as Alexa directs you to
the Alexa App to add a new device.
Pairing & Connecting a Device 3. Once device is paired and connected, the LED Ring
will flash blue three times before turning off.
Alexa is now ready to use.
* Device will now connect automatically when it is powered on and your
smartphone is in close range.
* To unpair device, hold the Invoke Alexa button for 5 seconds until it
flashes orange and select “Forget Device” from phone’s Bluetooth
settings.
Updating Device Firmware via iOttie Connect App
For an optimal user experience, make sure you
have the most up-to-date device firmware installed
from the iOttie Connect app. Follow instructions
for updating device firmware in the app.

Using Alexa
• A Wake Word can be used to ask Alexa anything.
The wake word is simply “Alexa.”
• The Invoke Alexa Button on the back of the mount base
can also be used instead of the wake word.
• The Mute/Unmute Button also on the back of the mount
base can be used to turn Alexa on/off.
! There will be no visual cue on your smartphone that announces the
connection except that the color of Avio Connect’s LED light should be blue.
! The Alexa App must be running in the background of your phone for the
device to work. When app is reopened, it will reconnect automatically

Navigation Setting
Alexa will use your default maps app. To use a specific map (i.e. Waze or
Google Maps) the default must be changed within the Alexa app.
1. Go to the menu and select “Settings”
2. Select “Trac”
3. Select “Default Navigation App”
Music Setting
When playing music, Alexa will default to Amazon Music. If using anoth-
er service, the default must be changed within the Alexa app.

Call and Text Message Setting
To enable Voice Messaging and Calling features, please enable Alexa
access to your contacts for seamless communication.

03 Mise en place du produit

2. Dans l’application Alexa,
accédez à Ajouter un appareil
> Accessoire automatique,
puis sélectionnez parmi les
appareils disponibles : iOttie
Aivo Connect (####) et
jumelez l’appareil. Autorisez
l’accès à l’emplacement
et assurez-vous que le
Bluetooth est détectable et
activé.
! AVERTISSEMENT : Pour votre sécurité,
veuillez ne pas jumeler/connecter
l’appareil en conduisant.
1. Après l’activation d’Aivo Connect, maintenez le bouton
pour évoquer Alexa pendant 5 secondes pour lancer
le mode de configuration. L’anneau LED clignotera en
orange lorsque Alexa vous dirigera vers l’application
Alexa pour ajouter un nouvel appareil.
Jumelage et connexion d’un appareil 3. Une fois l’appareil jumelé et connecté, l’anneau LED
clignote trois fois en bleu avant de s’éteindre. Alexa
est maintenant prête à l’emploi.
* L’appareil se connecte désormais automatiquement lorsqu’il est allumé
et que votre smartphone est à portée de main.
* Pour dissocier l’appareil, maintenez le bouton pour évoquer
Alexa pendant 5 secondes jusqu’à ce qu’il clignote en orange et
sélectionnez « Oublier l’appareil » dans les paramètres Bluetooth du
téléphone.
Mise à jour du firmware
Pour une expérience utilisateur optimale, assurez-
vous que le firmware le plus récent est installé
à partir de l’application iOttie Connect. Suivez
les instructions de mise à jour du firmware dans
l’application.
Le firmware obsolète ne fonctionnera pas
correctement.

Utiliser Alexa
• Un mot de réveil peut être utilisé pour demander quoi
que ce soit à Alexa. Le mot de réveil est tout
simplement « Alexa ».
• Le bouton pour évoquer Alexa à l’arrière de la base de
montage (côté conducteur) peut également être utilisé à
la place du mot de réveil.
• Le bouton coupure/activation du son à l’arrière de la
base de montage (côté passager) peut être utilisé pour
activer/désactiver Alexa.
! Il n’y aura aucun signal visuel sur votre smartphone qui annonce la connexion,
à part que la couleur de la lumière LED d’Avio Connect doit être bleue.
! L’application Alexa doit être activée en arrière-plan de votre téléphone
pour que l’appareil fonctionne. Lorsque l’application est rouverte, elle se
reconectera automatiquement
Paramètres et préférences d’Alexa
Navigation
Alexa utilisera votre application de carte par défaut. Pour utiliser une carte
spécifique (par exemple Waze ou Google Maps), la valeur par défaut doit
être modifiée dans l'application Alexa.

1. Wählen Sie den gewünschten
Montagebereich auf dem
Armaturenbrett und reinigen
Sie dessen Oberfläche vor der
Installation.
2. Entfernen Sie die
Klebstoffabdeckung
von der Unterseite des
Drehverriegelungssockels.
Platzieren Sie den Sockel
mit dem Pfeil in Richtung des
Treibers in den gewünschten
Montagebereich.
*Drücken und halten Sie den Sockel 30
Sekunden lang fest, damit er fest haftet
3. Verbinden Sie Aivo Connect mit
dem Drehverriegelungssockel.
4. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel
an der Rückseite von Aivo

Das Gerät freigeben
1. Die Seitenarme auf
der Halterung öffnen
sich automatisch über
einen geräuschlosen
Schrittmotor, wenn
das Mobiltelefon vom
Näherungssensor auf der
Halterung erkannt wird.
2. Sobald das Mobiltelefon in
die Halterung eingesetzt
wird, schließen sich nach
einer Sekunde die Arme
automatisch. Das Aufladen
der Qi-Funkverbindung
wird unverzüglich gestartet
3. Durch Tasten hinter den
Halterungsarmen auf
beiden Seiten des Geräts
können die Arme geöffnet
und geschlossen werden.
Es können eine oder beide
Tasten gedrückt werden.
Leitfaden zur Anpassung von Qi
Die Qi-Empfängerspule befindet sich in der Regel im
mittleren Bereich des Mobiltelefons. Erkundigen Sie sich
beim Hersteller Ihres Mobiltelefons nach der spezifisch-
en Lage der Qi-Spule. Nachstehend finden Sie einige

! Aivo Connect wird über ein USB-C-Kabel und eine Knopfzelle mit
Strom versorgt. Das Gerät verfügt über keinen Ein/Aus-Schalter.
Sobald das Gerät angeschlossen ist, bleibt es eingeschaltet. Nur wenn
das Fahrzeug im Parkmodus den Strom abschaltet, wird das Gerät
ausgeschaltet.
! Die Backup-Batterie setzt den Betrieb der Aivo-Connect-Halterungen
(Önen und Schließen) fort, auch nachdem die Stromversorgung
unterbrochen oder ausgeschaltet wurde.
! VORSICHT: Wenn das Gerät rot blinkt, wird ein Fremdkörper erkannt
und das Gerät muss entfernt werden, um eine Überhitzung zu
vermeiden.
! Die Qi-Spule auf der Halterung befindet sich in der Mitte, zwischen den
Armen und um den Infrarot-Näherungssensor.
