HEYWIRI: Telecomando universale IR WiFi cod. 68.6810.00
Con il telecomando universale IR WiFi HEYWIRI controlli la TV, il decoder Sky ed il condizionatore,
con lo smartphone e gli assistenti vocali.
Caratteristiche:
sostituisce i telecomandi ad infrarossi di TV, decoder Sky e condizionatore
consente la gestione da remoto con lo smartphone grazie all’app HEY Smart, disponibile per
iOS e Android.
compatibile con gli assistenti vocali di Google Assistant ™ed Alexa per
comandare TV, Sky e condizionatore
compatibile con IFTTT per realizzare integrazioni avanzate

Nella confezione, oltre al telecomando universale HEYWIRI, troviamo un cavetto micro-USB e la

Ricordate sempre che HEYWIRI deve essere posizionato in modo che possa “vedere”il dispositivo da
comandare in quanto la trasmissione dei comandi avviene mediante infrarossi.
Il primo passo per la configurazione e’ installare sullo smartphone l’app HEYSMART,
disponibile per Android e iOS. L’app e’ compatibile con tutta la gamma di dispositivi
intelligenti HEYSMART.

A-- Registrare un Account:
Selezionare (+39 Italia), immettere la mail e proseguire con le indicazioni fornite dell’app per finalizzare
la registrazione dell’account. Alla fine della registrazione, è possibile accedere all’app immettendo le
proprie credenziali (mail/password).
1- Selezionare Email come tipologia di registrazione account e selezionare (+39 Italia).
2- Inserire la vostra email
3- Selezionare Ottieni Codice di Verifica. Verrà inviato un codice di 6 cifre via email
4- Inserire il codice ricevuto via email
5- Impostare una password per il vostro Account
6- Selezionare Fine
Ora si può proseguire con l’aggiunta del dispositivo HEYWIRI. L’operazione può essere eseguita in due
modi: in modalità Wifi Diretta (Smart) oppure in modalità AP.
B-- Aggiungere il dispositivo all’Account in modalità Wifi Diretta (LED lampeggia velocemente)
Prima di procedere con la configurazioni, verificare quanto segue:
Identificare l’access point WiFi a cui HEYWIRI dovrà essere connesso
Verificare che sia attiva la banda 2,4 GHz (la banda 5 GHz non è supportata)
Assicurare che lo smartphone da cui effettuate la procedura di associazione sia collegato allo
stesso router WiFi
Verificare il nome e la password WiFi contengano solamente lettere a-z (A-Z) e numeri 0-9
Verificare che la password WiFi non superi i 32 caratteri di lunghezza
Nel caso in cui il vostro router WiFi sia dual band (ovvero che supporti contemporaneamente le bande
2,4 e 5 GHz) dovete temporaneamente configurarlo per i soli 2,4 GHz per evitare possibili errori.

Se il LED Blu fosse acceso fisso o stesse lampeggiando lentamente,
(1 blink ogni 2:3 secondi) premere per 5:6 secondi il pulsante di reset
e rilasciare. Il LED blu a bordo inizierà a lampeggiare velocemente (1
blink al secondo).

Per aggiungere il dispositivo all’App, eseguire la sequenza illustrata:
1- Selezionare “+” nella prima schermata dell’app
2- Selezionare “Gateway e Altri > IR Smart”
3- Verificare che sia presente il router al quale si è connessi.
Inserire la password Wifi. La password non deve contenere
caratteri speciali. Confermare per proseguire.
4- Se l’indicatore del lampeggia velocemente, confermare per
proseguire. In caso contrario, premere per 5:6 secondi il
pulsante di reset.
5- Attendere.. Connessione in corso; la procedura può durare da
10 a 120 sec. in funzione dell'intensità del segnale Wifi.
6- Effettuata la connessione, il modulo apparirà sull’App. L’indicatore luminoso del modulo sarà
acceso fisso. Confermare selezionando “Fine”.
7- HEYWIRI è stato aggiunto all’Appe associato all’utente.

C-- Aggiungere il dispositivo all’Account in modalità AP (LED lampeggia lentamente)
Alimentare HEYWIRI con un comune caricatore per smartphone a
5VDC/1A
Se il LED Blu fosse acceso fisso o stesse lampeggiando velocemente,
(1 blink al secondo) premere per 5:6 secondi il pulsante di reset e
rilasciare. Il LED blu a bordo inizierà a lampeggiare lentamente (1
blink ogni 2:3 secondi). Modalità AP attivata.
Per aggiungere il dispositivo all’App, eseguire la sequenza illustrata:
1- Selezionare “+” nella prima schermata dell’app
2- Selezionare “Gateway e Altri > IR Smart”
3- Selezionare “Altrimenti”
4- Selezionare “Modalità dell’app”
5- Confermare che il LED lampeggi Lentamente
6- Verificare che sia presente il router al quale si è connessi.
Inserire la password Wifi. La password non deve contenere
caratteri speciali. Confermare per proseguire.
7- Selezionare “Connettere Ora” per passare alle impostazioni Wifi
del telefono, per selezionare lo spot wifi emesso da HEYWIRI denominato “SmartLife”
8- Selezionare lo spot wifi emesso da HEYWIRI denominato “SmartLife” e tornare all’app.
9- Attendere.. Connessione in corso; la procedura può durare da 10 a 120 sec. in funzione
dell'intensità del segnale Wifi.
10-Effettuata la connessione, il modulo apparirà sull’App. L’indicatore luminoso del modulo sarà
acceso fisso. Confermare selezionando “Fine”.
11-HEYWIRI è stato aggiunto all’App e associato all’utente.

Aggiungere un telecomando: Clonazione telecomando TV
Una volta completata la configurazione iniziale, l’operazione di clonazione di un telecomando ad
infrarossi e’ davvero semplice e consiste in una procedura guidata che, nella maggior parte dei casi,
non richiederà nemmeno di premere un pulsante:
1- Selezionare “+” nella prima schermata dell’app
2- Selezionare “TV”
3- Selezionare il marchio dell’apparecchio e proseguire
4- Verificare che premendo i tasti sull’app e posizionando HEYWIRI davanti al televisore, sia
possibile pilotare l’apparecchio. In tal caso, selezionare “Abbinato”
5- Qualora fosse necessario aggiungere qualche tasto mancante, selezionare “Modifica”
6- Selezionare “Copia pulsante”
7- Toccare a lungo l’icona del tasto da copiare sullo smartphone, quindi premere a lungo il tasto
del telecomando IR, orientandolo contro HEYWIRI. Alla comparsa del popup, salvare.

Sull’App sono disponibili diverse tipologie di apparecchi pilotati da telecomando IR: decoder satellitare
o Sky (STB), televisori (TV), climatizzatori, TV Box, ventilatori, lettori DVD
Nel caso in cui il vostro apparecchio non fosse presente tra quelli predefiniti, potreste registrare i tasti
del vostro telecomando scegliendo la modalità DIY:
1- Selezionare “+” nella prima schermata dell’app
2- Selezionare “DIY”
3- Selezionare il tipo di dispositivo
4- Selezionare il marchi del prodotto oppure Other
5- Toccare a lungo sull’App l’icona del tasto da copiare
6- Alla comparsa del messaggio, premere a lungo il tasto sul telecomando IR
7- Alla richiesta di conferma, salvare con Done

Always remember that HEYWIRI must be positioned so that it can "see" the device to be controlled as
the transmission of the commands takes place via infrared.
The first step for configuration is to install the HEYSMART app on your smartphone,
available for Android and iOS. The app is compatible with the whole range of HEYSMART
smart devices.

A-- Register un Account:
Select (+39 Italy), enter the email and continue with the directions provided by the app to finalize the
account registration. At the end of the registration, you can access the app by entering your credentials
(email / password).
1- Select Email as the type of account registration and select Your country (ex. +39 for Italy).
2- Enter your email
3- Select Get Verification Code. A 6-digit code will be sent by email
4- Enter the code received via email
5- Set a password for your Account
6- Select Finish
Now you can continue with the addition of the HEYWIRI device. The operation can be performed in two
ways: in Direct Wifi (Smart) mode or in AP mode
B-- Add the device to the Account in Direct Wifi mode (LED flashes quickly)
Before proceeding with the configuration, check the following:
• Identify the WiFi access point to which HEYWIRI will be connected
• Verify that the 2.4 GHz band is active (the 5 GHz band is not supported)
• Make sure that the smartphone from which you are pairing is connected to the same WiFi router
• Verify the WiFi name and password contain only letters a-z (A-Z) and numbers 0-9
• Check that the WiFi password does not exceed 32 characters in length
In the event that your WiFi router is dual band (i.e. it supports the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands
simultaneously) you must temporarily configure it for only 2.4 GHz to
avoid possible errors.

If the Blue LED is steady on or flashing slowly, (1 blink every 2: 3
seconds) press the reset button for 5: 6 seconds and release. The
blue LED on board will start to flash quickly (1 blink per second).).

To add the device to the App, perform the illustrated sequence:
1- Select "+" in the first screen of the app
2- Select "Gateway and Others> IR Smart"
3- Check that the router to which you are connected is present.
Enter the Wifi password. The password must not contain
special characters. Confirm to continue.
4- If the indicator of the flashes quickly, confirm to continue. If not,
press the reset button for 5: 6 seconds.
5- Wait .. Connection in progress; the procedure can last from 10
to 120 sec. depending on the strength of the Wifi signal.
6- Once connected, the module will appear on the App.
The module indicator light will be on steady. Confirm by selecting "DONE".
7- HEYWIRI has been added to the App associated with the user.

C-- Add the device to the Account in AP mode (LED flashes slowly)
Power HEYWIRI with a common 5VDC / 1A smartphone charger
If the Blue LED is steady on or flashing quickly, (1 blink per second),
press the reset button for 5: 6 seconds and release. The blue LED on
board will start to flash slowly (1 blink every 2: 3 seconds).
AP mode activated.
To add the device to the App, perform the illustrated sequence:
1- Select "+" in the first screen of the app
2- Select "Gateway and Others> IR Smart"
3- Select "Otherwise"
4- Select "App mode"
5- Confirm that the LED flashes slowly
6- Check that the router to which you are connected is present.
Enter the Wifi password. The password must not contain
special characters. Confirm to continue.
7- Select "Connect Now" to go to the phone's Wifi settings, to select
the wifi spot emitted by HEYWIRI called "SmartLife"
8- Select the wifi spot issued by HEYWIRI called "SmartLife" and return to the app.
9- Please wait .. Connection in progress; the procedure can last from 10 to 120 sec. depending on the
strength of the Wifi signal.
10- Once connected, the module will appear on the App. The module indicator light will be on steady.
Confirm by selecting "Finish".
11- HEYWIRI has been added to the App and associated with the user.

Add a remote control: Clone TV remote control
Once the initial configuration is complete, the cloning operation of an infrared remote control is really
simple and consists of a guided procedure that, in most cases, will not even require you to press a
button:
1- Select "+" in the first screen of the app
2- Select "TV"
3- Select the device brand and continue
4- Check that by pressing the buttons on the app and placing HEYWIRI in front of the TV, you can
control the device. In this case, select "Matched"
5- If it is necessary to add some missing keys, select "Modify"
6- Select "Copy button"
7- Long touch the icon of the button to be copied on the smartphone, then long press the button of the
IR remote control, pointing it against HEYWIRI. When the popup appears, save.

Different types of devices controlled by IR remote control are available on the App: satellite or Sky
decoder (STB), televisions (TV), air conditioners, TV boxes, fans, DVD players
If your appliance is not among the predefined ones, you could register the buttons on your remote
control by choosing the DIY mode:
1- Select "+" in the first screen of the app
2- Select "DIY"
3- Select the type of device
4- Select the product brand or Other
5- Long touch the icon of the button to be copied on the App
6- When the message appears, long press the button on the IR remote control
7- At the confirmation request, save with Done

Registrare un Account: Selezionare
(+39 Italia), immettere la mail e

Prima di associare HEYSWITCH, assicurarsi
di connettere il proprio smartphone al
router Wi-Fi 2.4GHz.
Alimentare HEYWIRI con un
qualsiasi alimentatore a 5VDC per
smartphone. Porre HEIWIRI in modalità
apprendimento, tenendo premuto il tasto
ON-OFF per 5 : 6 secondi.
L’indicatore luminoso presente sul modulo
inizierà a lampeggiare velocemente.
Aggiungere il modulo selezionando
Gateway e Altri > IR Smart
Verificare che lo smartphone sia
connesso alla banda wifi 2,4GHz.
Inserire la password del vostro router Wifi,
NON deve contenere caratteri speciali e
NON deve avere più di 32 caratteri.

Se il LED Blu su HEYWIRI lampeggia
velocemente, confermare per
proseguire. In caso contrario, eseguire il
punto 3.
Connessione in corso, la procedura
può durare da 10 a 120 sec. in
funzione dell'intensità del segnale Wifi.
Effettuata la connessione, il
dispositivo apparirà sull’App.
L’indicatore luminoso del modulo sarà
spento. Confermare per proseguire.
Connettere il dispositivo ad Amazon
Alexa o Google Assistant per il
controllo vocale o per condividere il
dispositivo con amici e parenti.

Download the HeySmart app from

Register an Account: Select (+39

Before starting the next step, make sure you
have your smartphone connected to the
2.4GHz Wi-Fi router.

Power HEYWIRI with any 5VDC
smartphone power supply. Put
HEIWIRI in learning mode, keeping the ON-
OFF key pressed for 5: 6 seconds.
The indicator light on the module will start
to flash quickly.
Select Gateway > IR Smart Verify that the smartphone is
connected to the 2.4GHz wifi
band. Enter the password of your Wifi
router, it MUST NOT contain special
characters

If the Device has a flashing red LED,
confirm to continue. If not, perform
step 3.

Once connected, the IR Smart will
appear on the App. The module's
indicator light will be off. Confirm.
Connect the device to Amazon Alexa
