INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on the purchase of your UV germicidal air sterilizer ISTOK
BREEZE! You have chosen a modern and reliable device.
The UV air sterilizer ISTOK BREEZE is designed for indoor air disinfection with
ultraviolet germicidal radiation which effectively destroys various airborne
microorganisms (viruses, coronaviruses, bacteria, spores, etc.).

The application of the ISTOK BREEZE air sterilizers is almost unlimited:
households, waiting rooms, office rooms, elderly homes, hotel rooms,
kindergartens and schools, industrial, commercial and sports facilities etc.
everywhere, where many people are in a room with a high risk to get infected.
Please read this User Manual carefully in order to correctly set up the UV air
sterilizer ISTOK BREEZE and use it to its full potential.
IMPORTANT NOTE! NEVER look directly at the UV Light while it is
illuminated. Direct UV light can cause skin or eye damage.
DO NOT switch on the sterilizer with the cover removed! UV lamps must be
covered at all times during operation.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Observe safety regulations while working with 230±20%
V, 50Hz circuit.

HOW DOES THE AIR STERILIZER ISTOK-BREEZE WORK
Ultraviolet light is scientifically proven to be a natural germicide. UV radiation
effectively destroys a large variety of micro-organisms such as viruses, germs,
bacteria and fungi in seconds by breaking molecular bonds in their DNA,
rendering them unable to reproduce.
The UV air sterilizer ISTOK BREEZE is an airflow exchange chamber with built-in
UV lamps and a fan equipped with a pre-filter and a control panel.
The room air sucked into the ISTOK BREEZE sterilizer first passes the pre-filter
shutting out solid particulates such as dust and pollen, and then it is exposed to
UV radiation inactivating airborne pathogens and microorganisms. As a result
the source of infections and bad odour is removed and the clean healthy air is
expelled out.
UV air sterilizers ISTOK BREEZE provide active constant circulating the entire
volume of air in a room multiple times per hour, ensuring maximum efficiency
of disinfection.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The air sterilizers ISTOK BREEZE are subject to all safety requirements for the
operation of electrical equipment powered by 230±20% V, 50 Hz, including the
following:
Read this manual before using the appliance.
To avoid fire or shock hazard, connect the appliance to a grounded electrical
outlet.
Do not use a power cord with inappropriate specifications for the appliance.
Ensure that the power plug is easily accessible during use.
DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the
cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiator, stoves, or heaters.
Always unplug the air sterilizer before moving it, changing filters or lamps,
cleaning or whenever the air sterilizer is not in use. Be sure to pull by the
plug and not the cord.
Save the appliance from shocks and falling.
To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other
liquids. Do not use near water.
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near
children, or by disabled people.
NEVER drop or insert any object into any openings.
Use appliance only as specified in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury
to persons.
DO NOT use outdoors.
NEVER block the air openings or place on a soft surface such as a bed or
sofa, as this could cause the appliance to tip over, blocking the air Intake
opening.
Keep the sterilizer away from heated surfaces and open flames.
NEVER look directly at the UV Light while it is illuminated. Direct UV light can
cause skin or eye damage. Do not switch on the sterilizer with the cover
removed! UV lamps must be covered at all times during operation.
DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions
on this appliance. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel
only.

GETTING STARTED
UNPACKING
Carefully remove the ISTOK BREEZE from the packing materials.
After transportation or storage, keep the sterilizer for at least 2 hours at room
temperature before being connected to the mains and switched on.
INSTALLATION
Choose the sterilizer location so that the air intake and air outlet operate
unimpeded, providing the best air circulation in the room. Avoid installing in
corners of the room. Ensure no grilles are blocked.
Depending on the model place the sterilizer on the chosen place:
ISTOK BREEZE 30 could be placed either horizontally on the solid surface (e.g.
desk, shelf, wall etc.) or vertically on the wall installed with the supplied wall
bracket and the screws.

ISTOK BREEZE 60/120 should be placed only vertically on the wall or on the
movable stand (purchased as accessory).
Fix the sterilizer on the wall with the screws and dowels (supplied) with the
appliance lower edge approximately 1,0 –1,5 m from the floor. Ensure no
grilles are blocked.

When using the movable stand (purchased as accessory), assemble the stand as
shown on the following picture (Figure 3) and attach the sterilizer to the stand
with the screws.

ISTOK BREEZE 1200 should be placed horizontally on the wall or vertically on
the floor on the supplied chassis.
Fix the sterilizer horizontally on the wall with the screws and dowels (not
supplied) throw the holes on the back of the appliance. Ensure the mount will
support the sterilizer weight.

To place the sterilizer on the floor, fix the chassis with the screws (supplied)
through the holes on the bottom of the sterilizer as shown on the following
picture (Figure 5)

TURNING ON/OFF
To turn on ISTOK BREEZE 30:
Plug the power adaptor into a mains socket. Switch on the Power switch (2) on
the front of the sterilizer.
After finishing the operation, switch off the Power switch (2) and unplug the
power adaptor from the mains.
To turn on ISTOK BREEZE 60/120:
Plug the power cord into a grounded mains socket. Switch on the Power switch
(2) on the side of the sterilizer. The Power switch (2) lights up red.
The display on the side of the sterilizer lights up with the welcome screen
showing the sterilizer’s model name:

The sterilizer automatically starts operating. Simultaneously for the first few
seconds the sterilizer does self-testing, checking the lamps and the fan, and
shows the results on the screen:
As soon as the self-testing is finished the display shows Lamp service life
counter:
And the sterilizer keeps on working in the preset mode. The first time your turn
on the air sterilizer ISTOK BREEZE 60/120 the preset mode is the maximum
airflow: 60 m³/h for ISTOK BREEZE 60 and 120 m³/h for ISTOK BREEZE 120.
After finishing the operation, switch off the Power switch (2) and unplug the
power cable from the mains.
To turn on ISTOK BREEZE 1200:
Plug the power cord into a grounded mains socket. The sterilizer beeps.

Switch on the sterilizer with the On/Off button (4) on the Control panel or
button (7) on the remote control.
The display on the top of the sterilizer lights up with the welcome screen
showing the sterilizer’s model name:
The sterilizer automatically starts operating. Simultaneously for the first few
seconds the sterilizer does self-testing, checking the lamps and the fan, and
shows the results on the screen:
*If case of the lamps failure an error message showing the error code is
displayed on the screen.
If case of the fan failure an error message showing the error code is displayed
on the screen.
See the error codes in the Appendix 1.
As soon as the self-testing is finished the display shows Lamp service life
counter:
After finishing the operation, switch off the sterilizer with the Power On/Off
button (4) on the Control panel or button (7) on the remote control. In case
of a long non-use of the sterilizer it’s recommenced to unplug the power cable
from the mains.

SETTINGS
AIRFLOW MANAGEMENT
The ISTOK BREEZE 30 can operate only in one set mode 30 m³/h.
The ISTOK BREEZE 60/120 can be programmed to run and disinfect the room
automatically for a certain period of time throughout an hour depending on the
room volume (m³).
To run Airflow management, use button (5) on the control panel to choose
Airflow setting. With the buttons (6) or (7) set the room volume which you
need to disinfect:
ISTOK BREEZE 60 - from 10 to 60 m³;
ISTOK BREEZE 120 - from 10 to 120 m³.
The following table shows the switching cycles depending on the set room
volume:

The incorrect set room volume can result in reducing the lamps service life if
the set airflow is too big or in ineffective disinfection if the set airflow is too
small.
The sterilizer remembers the programmed airflow and every time you turn it on
the appliance automatically starts working in the set mode.
In ISTOK BREEZE 1200 airflow management is controlled with fan speed
adjustment and turning-on/off schedule.
There are three fan speed options or airflow rates: low (400m³/h), medium
(800m³/h), and high (1200m³/h). To change airflow rate press button (6) on the
Control panel or buttons (8) on the remote control till the desired
rate.
The ISTOK BREEZE 1200 can be programmed to turn on and off automatically
according to the set schedule.
To set schedule press Timer On button (5) several times till the following
message appears on the screen:
With the buttons (4) and (5) choose the option you want. The first (left) figure
refers to operation time, the second (right) figure refers to the downtime.
When the schedule is on the letter “S” appears on the screen next to the
airflow rate.
NOTE! The set schedule is still stored once the sterilizer is switched off and then
turned on.

TIMER
The programmable timer allows you to run the air sterilizer at your
convenience, for up to 12 hours, and automatically turns the power off when
time is up, to help reduce energy costs.
To set the timer on the ISTOK BREEZE 60/120, press button (5) on the control
panel to choose Timer setting. The message “Timer OFF” is displayed on the
screen. With the buttons (6) or (7) set the desired operation time of the
sterilizer from 10 minutes to 12 hours. The time changes by 10 minutes each
time you press either of the buttons. The run time is then started automatically.
The time appears on the screen.
When the timer is on the letter “t” appears on the display.
When the timer runs out the sterilizer stops working automatically. To turn it
on press any button on the Control panel.
To set the timer on the ISTOK BREEZE 1200, press Timer On button (5) on the
control panel to choose Timer setting. The message “Timer OFF” is displayed on
the screen. With the Timer setting button (6) on the Control panel set the
desired operation time of the sterilizer from 10 minutes to 12 hours. The time
changes by 10 minutes each time you press either of the buttons. The run time
is then started automatically. The time appears on the screen.
When the timer is on the letter “t” appears on the screen next to the airflow
rate.
