While wearing the unit, increase the volume by turning the
Volume dial towards your face. Decrease volume by turning
the dial towards back of head (Fig A). Adjust the volume so the
sound is clear, but not loud. For best results, make very small
adjustments when se ng volume. A small adjustment will make
a big diff erence in volume and clarity.
Like the auto focus on a camera lens, NeutronicEar ITC
automa cally adjusts to your environment to give you the best
sound possible while fi ltering out annoying background noise
(Fig B).

1. Grasp the device between your thumb and forefi nger. If the
unit is for the Right ear use your Right hand; if Le use Le hand.
Hold the device so that the Volume dial is on top.
2. Insert the tapered end carefully into the ear canal and gently
push it into place using your forefi nger (Fig C). You might fi nd it
easier to use your other hand to gently pull the back of your ear
slightly backward while inser ng the device.
3. Once the unit is in your ear the Volume dial should be at the
top and the unit should fi t snugly and completely in the Ear canal
(Fig D). If the device is loose, remove it and replace the So p
with a larger size; if too large try a smaller size.
4. To remove the unit,use your forefi nger to simply push upward
under your ear lobe. NeutronicEar ITC will slip out of the canal.
Remove with the Extractor handle (Fig E).

To save Ba ery life, we suggest that you turn off the unit
by opening the Ba ery door when not in use. Unit will
con nually beep when ba ery power is low.
To get the maximum performance and sound quality
we suggest using only *NeutronicEar ba eries. Off -brand ba eries
may vary in size by a millimeter and may not fi t or perform correctly.
Pulling off the plas c yellow tab ac vates the ba ery. Do not pull
off the tab un l ready for use.
With your fi ngernail, gently pull up on
the Ba ery door (Fig A). Pull open from the side closest to the
Extractor handle. With the yellow tab of the ba ery facing you,
insert ba ery with rounded edge poin ng into the ba ery slot (Fig
B). Ba ery door will not close if ba ery is inserted incorrectly. Peel
off tab from ba ery, wait 60 seconds, and close door to turn unit
on. Unit will Beep con nually when new ba ery is needed.
*NeutronicEar Ba eries are guaranteed to have a 3 year shelf life.

Use a so cloth to wipe the unit a er use to remove any
par cles or moisture. *So ps are designed to be reusable
though it is suggested to replace every 3 months.
1. A er removing simply clean exterior of So p with
warm soapy water and a small cloth (Fig C.) Dry thoroughly
before reinser ng in ear.(You must make sure there is no
moisture in the So p, as it will block sound).
2. Use the cleaning tool brush and wax pick at the bo om
of its handle to remove any accumulated wax or debris
from around the So p (Fig D).
3. To remove or switch So ps, grasp the unit with
forefi nger and thumb and fi rmly pull the So p off . Firmly
push on the So p of your choice (Fig E).

Here is some important informa on to assure you get the best performance from
your NeutronicEar ITC for years to come.
• Remove So p from unit prior to cleaning.
• Clean your So ps daily with warm soapy water and a small cloth.
•Moisture of ANY KIND will damage the complex circuitry of the unit.
• Do not use any cleaning fl uids of any kind.
• Do not go to bed with unit in your ear.
•Open Ba ery door when not in use to save power.
• Do not use any appliance to dry or clean.
•Be sure to keep your unit away from any kind of excessive heat.

•Feedback can occur due to an improper fi t. The So p, which is on the end of
the unit is designed to conform to fi t most ear canals. We have provided you with
an assortment of sizes to customize your fi t.
• Make sure that the So p, at the end of the unit, is fully inserted inside the ear
canal, seated properly, and free of debris and ear wax.
• Addi onal So ps may be purchased through your Customer Care Specialist or
on-line at www.neutronicear.com
• Palm test (see page 1) to check ba ery.
• Visually inspect that the So p is clean. Use your cleaning tool brush if needed.
• Check to ensure the Microphone Screen is clean.
