BATTERIES
Open the battery compartment located at the
back of the phone and place 4 x AA batteries
(not included) taking care not to reverse the
poles. Close the battery compartment.
INSTALLATION
1. To assemble the phone, attach the stand
to the bottom on the phone.
2. Place the phone on a at surface,
positioned so that the telephone cable
will reach your telephone line or extension
socket.
3. Plug the coiled handset cord into the
handset. Plug the other end into the
socket on the left of the base unit.
4. Place the handset on the unit.
5. Plug the telephone cable into the socket
at the back of the base unit. Insert the
other end of the cable into your telephone
socket.
6. Lift the handset and check for a dial tone.
Note: If you connect the telephone to a line
with a broadband (ADSL) connection, you
must use a micro-lter between the telephone
and the telephone line; otherwise you may get
interference between the telephone and the
broadband.
WALL MOUNT
When wall mounting the phone, ensure that it
is close to a telephone wall socket, so that the
included cable can be easily connected.
1. To wall mount, measure the distance
between the two mounting brackets on
the back of the phone.
2. With a pencil, mark two xing hole
positions on the wall.
3. Drill the wall and insert wall plugs to
mount the phone.
4. Hang the phone.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
On-Hook Mode:
When the handset is in the cradle
O-Hook Mode:
When the handset is out of the cradle – i.e. in
your hand or placed down on a surface.
CONTROLS
Flash key:
Use to transfer a phone call internally. To
transfer a phone call to an internal number,
press the ash key and enter the new number.
The ash key also allows you to switch to
another incoming call if you have call waiting
service.
Hands Free:
Press the hands free button to use the phone
without having to hold the handset.
Set:
Press and hold the SET button to enter
the menu settings. Press SET to conrm a
selection.
Redial:
Press to redial a number.
Check:
Press to check outgoing calls.
M1 M2 M3:
Press to view stored numbers, or press to save
and store a number.

MENU
To enter the Menu:
1. In on-hook mode, hold the SET key for 3 seconds.
2. Use the UP and DOWN keys to scroll through the menu.
3. Press SET to conrm your menu selection.
4. Some settings have sub-menu settings. Press set and then use the UP and DOWN keys to
choose and enter sub-menu settings.
MENU SETTING
1. DATE & TIME
1.1 DATE
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 1 to select the DATE and TIME menu.
• Press 1 to enter the DATE menu.
• The display will show the year and date. Use the number keys to enter the year and then
date.
• Press SET to conrm.
1.2 TIME
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 1 to select the DATE and TIME menu.
• Press 2 to enter the TIME menu.
• Use the number keys to enter the time.
• Press set to conrm.
2. FLASH & PULSE
2.1 FLASH
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 5 to select the FLASH & PULSE menu.
• Press 1 to enter the FLASH menu.
• When the LCD shows ‘FLASH 100’, use the UP and DOWN keys to select the ash time.
• You can select between 90, 95, 100, 120 180, 300, 600 and 1000ms (milliseconds).

2.2 PULSE
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 5 to select the FLASH & PULSE menu.
• Press 2 to enter the PULSE menu.
• Use the UP and DOWN keys to select between pulse and tone.
• Press SET to conrm.
Note: Tone: for tone dial service. Pulse: for rotary pulse dial service.
3. AREA & PREFIX CODE
3.1 AREA CODE
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 6 to select the AREA AND PREFIX CODE menu.
• Press 1 to select AREA CODE.
• Use the number keys to enter the area code.
• Press SET to conrm.
3.2 PREFIX CODE
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 6 to select the AREA AND PREFIX code menu.
• Press 2 to select PREFIX CODE.
• Use the number keys to enter the prex code.
• Press SET to conrm.
Note: The prex code setting is for setting internal lines, if the phone is being used in an oce space
or by a company.
4. LCD CONTRAST
• Hold the SET key for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays ‘SET 12345678’.
• Press 7 to enter the LCD CONTRAST menu.
• Use the UP and DOWN keys to select the desired contrast level.
• Press SET to conrm.

ON-HOOK MODE
Incoming Call:
Press DOWN to display incoming calls.
Use the UP and DOWN keys to review
incoming calls.
Dial Out:
When reviewing an incoming call, press
REDIAL to dial out the number shown on the
display.
Outgoing Call:
Press CHECK and then press the UP and
DOWN keys to review the outgoing calls.
Call Volume Adjustment:
There is a volume adjustment switch located on
the side of the handset. Switch between HI/LO
(high or low) volume.
OFF HOOK MODE
One-touch memory:
There are two ways to save a phone number
into the one-touch memory speed dial.
1. With the handset on hook, input the
phone number you wish to save, and
then long press M1, M2 or M3 to save the
phone number to that space.
2. Check the incoming out or outgoing call
log. Once you have found the number you
wish to save, long press M1, M2 or M3
to save.
CLEANING & CARE
1. Switch the appliance o, unplug from the
mains.
2. Wipe over the casing using a soft damp
cloth (if necessary a little washing up liquid
may be used). Do not immerse the unit in
water or any other liquid.
3. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
4. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly with
soft towel before reusing.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART
OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.
