ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Fitting the e-Gauge®-lite
Parts required for assembly
1 x e-Gauge®-lite Pointer
1 x e-Gauge®-lite including lens
1 x Pressure Gauge or Thermometer
1. Remove Bezel, Glass lens and Rubber seal from Pressure Gauge or Dial
Thermometer.
2. Feed cable and e-Gauge through the bezel from inside to out and refit
Rubber Seal.
3. Remove pointer from Pressure gauge or Thermometer and replace with
e-Gauge® pointer.
Note: Thread should be at the top

2 x Plastic washers

4. The e-Gauge Pointer may need to be broached out, to suit gauge
pinion.
5. Fit Target on Target Holder with capacitor in line with the hole provided.
6. Screw the e-Gauge® Target onto the e-Gauge® pointer.
7. The distance between the top of the target and the e-Gauge lens, should not be
more than 4mm. (see picture below)
2 washers are supplied to adjust the height of the Target on the Pointer,
if required
8. The Pointer and Target must be in-line along the axis, with the PCB writing
below the axis line - as per the picture below:
When all correctly in position and at -135° on the gauge, glue the target
in place securely.

9. Replace the lens and bezel on the gauge, checking the clearance for the
pointer/target with the lens.
10. Tighten the bezel with the e-Gauge®-lite in the vertical,
12 o’clock position (0°).
11. The unit is ready to be powered up.
Note: Default is for a 270° scale, with 0° at 12 o’clock (-135°→+135°) –
Output 4mA→20mA.
Other scale ranges are available by factory order.
