• The module is designed to be used in an environment with a pollution level 2 dened by IEC 60664-1.
Do not use in an environment that is wet, exposed to water and conductive dust, ammable, explosive or corrosive.
• The module belongs to the hazard category 2 or less of the EN 954-1 standard.
• The side and lower parts of the module are not protected against mechanical hazards. It must be incorporated in the
conveyor's structure in accordance with the existing local safety regulations, in particular R-4212-1 of the Labour Code.
• The module is a virtual machine that is designed to be incorporated in a machine. Before service entry, make sure that
the machine complies with existing local safety standards, in particular Directive 2006/42/EC.
• Do not walk on the module as this could cause a failure or an accident.
• Do not touch the module during operation as this could cause injuries.
• Do not modify the product or change the control panel settings as this could cause an accident or a module malfunction.
• Make sure the 24VDC power supply and the transfer module are grounded. If not, this could cause an electric shock
in the event of a short circuit or malfunction.
• Keep the product away from moisture and dust as this could cause a failure or an electric shock.
• Keep the technical document and installation manual.

• When unpacking, be careful not to damage the belts or cables, when opening the package with a knife.
• Wear gloves to protect hands against pinching, cuts, etc.
• The module should be carried by two people holding its base as shown in photo 1. If the module is held by the upper
part, it may dislocate from the lower part. Photo 2
• Make sure that that the motor cables and the sensors are not pinched or crushed when setting down the module.
• Check the module for condition and check the number of accessories. Report any nonconformity immediately.

5. mechanical installation
• The vibration level for the location must be ≤ 0.5 G.
• The side and lower parts of the module are not protected against mechanical
hazards. Protection complying with local safety standards must be provided.
• Secure the module to the module brackets using four M8 screws (not supplied).
• Make sure that the cables are not pinched or damaged.
• Make sure that the identication and safety labels remain visible.
• The transfer module must be installed horizontally. It must not be bent, clamped or tilted. An improperly installed
module can inhibit the vertical movement (raising/lowering) or cause incorrect detection of the proximity sensor.
• Once the transfer module is properly installed, conveyor level upstream and downstream of the module must be set.

6. electrical installation and Wiring
• The electrical installation and wiring must be carried out in accordance with good engineering practices and in conformity
with existing local standards.
• All electrical procedures must be carried out by authorized individuals and the safety-locking procedure of an electrical
installation must be complied with.
• A TBTS 24 VDC stabilized power supply with a capacity matching the module must be provided for proper operation
(only one motor operates at a time).
• Ensure good electrical continuity between the module and the conveyor frame, which is itself grounded.

• Install the control panels with the two M4 screws
provided.
• Connect the motor cables to the control panel and
then the input/output signal cables as well as the
cables connecting the sensors to the PLC. Be careful
to connect the sensor polarities correctly. It may be
damaged if the polarities are reversed.

à la commande et à l’alimentation des rouleaux
moteurs Power Moller ® 24 brushless.
La platine CBM-105FP1-EU1 est compatible
avec les séries PM500FS (50), PM500FE
(50E), PM500FP (50P) et PM605FE (60E).
F : La platine CBM-105FP1-EU1 peut être
réglée pour fonctionner selon différentes
configurations.
Accessoires fournis avec la platine :
• 2 vis M4, écrous et rondelles
• 1 connecteur pour l’alimentation CN1 :

• Screw the motorized roller M8-5P male connector
onto the M8-5P female connector (option) then wire to
the PLC, or use the connecting cable provided for the
B&W Asi module.
• Connect the cell wires to the PLC/B&W Asi module
using the appropriate connector.
• The cable length between the motorized roller and
the PLC/ASI module must not exceed 4 m.

7. testing and settings
• The tests must be carried out by authorized individuals and the safety-locking procedure of an electrical installation
must be complied with.
• Before performing the tests, make sure that each part of the module is installed and secured properly and that the
electrical installation and wiring are properly performed.
• Be careful when moving the load on the F-RAT it can fall and cause serious injury.
• If LEDs ash (CBM-105) or the module malfunctions, refer to the document specic to the panel and/or contact us.

• If a load (package) stopped on the transfer module is removed, do not push or pull it
to avoid any possibility of derailment of the at belts or roller wheels or movement of
the ribbed belts.
•To adjust the stop position of the load on the transfer
module, adjust the position of the P/E1 sensor and/or adjust the
controller settings.
• To reduce slippage of the load on the conveyor table, the
"deceleration" function available for the PM500FE & CBM-105
type motor may be used, if it does not affect the required transfer
capacity.

8. maintenance
• Before carrying out any work, make sure that the electrical installation safety-locking procedure has been implemented
to ensure safety and avoid accidents.
• Maintenance must be carried out by the trained and authorized person.
rePlacing the transfer direction motorized roller (m2)
Disconnect the motorized connector from the control panel (see Figure 1)
Remove the bolts shown in Figure 1 to remove the pulley guard plate.
Remove the bolts on the side cover, and then remove the side cover.
Remove the free rollers and the belts.
Remove the attaching plate and the motorized roller being careful not to damage the motor connector and cable.
Replace the motorized roller and ret the parts following steps to above.
Make sure that the ribbed belts are properly positioned as shown in Figure 2

spanner and screw the M8 bolt and washer into
the Power Moller®shaft with a 6mm allen key.
