Operations Guide
The Touchscreen Remote (V2.5) is compatible with
select OASIS and HURRICANE heaters:
•OASIS NE •HURRICANE COMBI
•OASIS NE-S •HURRICANE H2
•OASIS CH50 •HURRICANE H2L
•OASIS COMBI •CHINOOK
Please contact ITR for the installation procedure of the
module.This manual describes the operations of the
buttons on the screen.
ITR’s advanced Touchscreen Remote is designed with
the user in mind. An easy to use interface displays
system controls, a help menu, fault detection, and
system settings, all controlled with a simple touch of the
screen.

Buttons Description:
Screen Off button: Turns the screen OFF. All the
controls will remain active. To turn the screen ON,
touch anywhere on the screen.
Menu button: Displays the Settings and Help
buttons on the top right corner of the screen. Touching
the Menu button again will remove those buttons. If not
selected, Settings and Help buttons will be removed
from the screen after few seconds.
Help button: Displays the help screen. In case of a
fault, the help screen shows solutions to clear the fault.
Settings button: Displays the settings screen. The
screen is described in the next page.
Diesel Heat buttons: Turns on and off the diesel heater.
Electric Heat buttons: Turns ON and OFF the electric
heating element(s). Depending on the model, the heater
might have two electric power selections 1.5KW and
3.0KW. The selection can be made with these buttons.
Electric heating element(s) will be turned ON only if the
electric power is connected.
Engine Preheat buttons: Turns ON and OFF the engine
preheat pump. This option is available on select heaters.
Wi-Fi icon: Indicates if an active Wi-Fi
connection is established. The icon will be pale when
there is no active connection.
Settings Screen:
Settings screen enables user to control different features
of the Touchscreen remote:
Buzzer: The buzzer will sound the alarm for about 5
seconds in case of a fault. The alarm can be turned OFF
and ON using this button.
Screen: The screen will turn OFF automatically if not
touched for few minutes. It will turn ON again any time
the screen is touched. The timeout can be set using this
button to 1, 3 or 5 minutes.
Preheat: Engine preheat control feature can be disabled
or enabled using this button.
Network: The connected network name and the Heater
ID are displayed if an active network is connected.
Otherwise, use this button to go to the network settings
screen. The Heater ID is used on Android or iOS APP to
connect to the heater.
When finished selecting the appropriate settings, touch
the Exit button to save the selection and go back to the
Main screen. The screen will switch back to Main screen
if no action is done for one minute.

Network screen:
Available Wi-Fi networks will be shown a few seconds
after entering this screen. You can select the desired Wi-
Fi network to connect to by touching the name and then
go to the next screen to enter the password.
If your router has the WPS feature, you can use it to
connect to the Wi-Fi and skip the entering the password
step.
To use WPS, first push the WPS button on your router,
then touch the WPS button on this screen. The system
will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Password screen:
Use the row of letters in this screen to enter the
password for your selected Wi-Fi. The arrows at the left
and right of the row let you scroll through the set of
letters that is selected. The password characters will
show up in the second line on this screen as entered.
There are four sets of characters that you can
select to choose from: uppercase letters, lowercase
letters, numbers and special characters. Scroll through
these four sets by touching this button.
Clear the whole entered password by touching
this button.
This is the Back-Space button. Touch it to clear
the last entered password character.
After entering the password, touch the Save button. The
entered password is saved and the Touchscreen remote
attempts to connect to the selected Wi-Fi. If
unsuccessful, this screen with the entered password will
be displayed again. You can correct or change the
password and try again.
Using App:
You can enjoy monitoring and controlling your heater
from your cellphone using ITR OASIS App.
Download the ITR OASIS App from Google Play Store
or iPhone App Store and install it on your phone.
Go to the App’s Settings screen. Enter a name for your
heater and enter the Heater ID in the related spaces and
save. The Heater ID can be found on the Settings screen
of your Touchscreen remote if connected to the Wi-Fi.
The App’s main screen will display the heater status and
you can turn on and off the burner remotely.
