1. Introduction
IvedaAI uses deep learning technology for advanced AI Video Search, utilizing recorded videos and stream live
videos from multiple Network Video Recorders (NVRs). The administrator can monitor the status of IvedaAI,
manually configure NVRs, cameras or videos, and configure users with different privileges.
Multiple AI Model
2.8.0 supports multiple AI models. When AI models are switched, it affects video search, intrusion detection (ROI
tool) and alerts (define alert rule, those types also change according to the selected AI model).
User will not be able to search for types from the previous AI model after switching from a particular model.

3. AI-Storage Installation
IvedaAI appliance can run without installing AI-Storage. In this case, the system and metadata would share the
same storage space and resource. However, it is recommended to install an HDD on IvedaAI appliance for AI-
Storage for saving video metadata for the best video search experience. The acceptable HDD format is 3.5-inch
SATA III with the capacity of 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 6TB, 8TB, or 10TB based on the retention requirement.
