Battery Installation for the Remote Control
Remove the Insulating Strip from the Remote Control
Remove the insulating mylar strip from the battery if the
battery is being used for the rst time. It is located at the
bottom back side of the remote control.
Handling the Battery
• Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion or battery leakage, which
could cause re, personal injury or damage to property.
• Install the battery correctly by following the polarity (+ and –) indications in the battery
compartment.
• When the battery is exhausted, the remote control will not function.
• Only use the battery type indicated in this manual.
• Do not dispose of the used battery as domestic waste. Dispose of it in accordance with
the local regulations.
• Small button cell batteries such as the one used in the remote control are easily
swallowed by young children and this is dangerous. Keep loose button cells away from
young children and make sure that the battery holder tray is secure in the remote
control. Seek medical advice if you believe a cell has been swallowed.
Handling the Remote Control
• Take care of your ngernails when you press and hold the battery release tab.
• Do not drop or cause impact to the remote control.
• Do not spill water or any liquid on the remote control.
• Do not place the remote control on a wet object.
• Do not place the remote control under direct sunlight or near sources of excessive heat.
• Remove the battery from the remote control when not in use for a long period of time,
as it could cause corrosion or battery leakage and may result in physical injury and/or
property damage including re.

tab and pull out the battery holder
completely.
2. Remove the old battery, and place
a new battery (“CR2025” 3V) in the
holder.

Remote Control Operation Range
Point the remote control at the unit no more than
5 metres from the remote control sensor and
within 60° of the front of the unit. The operating
distance may vary depending on the brightness of
the room.
Power Source
Mains Power
• This unit was designed to operate with
an AC ~230V 50Hz power supply.
• Connecting the unit to any other power
source may cause damage to the unit.
Unwind the mains cable to its full
length. Connect the mains plug to a
mains socket. Make sure the mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket. The unit is
now connected and ready to use.
• To switch the unit o completely, switch the POWER ON/OFF button to the OFF position
or withdraw the mains plug from the mains socket.

General Operation
Switching On / O and Selecting the Function
• Switch the POWER ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to the ON position and then
press the STANDBY button on the remote control or press the iPhone/AUX button
on the unit to turn on the unit.
• Press the STANDBY button on the remote control again or press and hold the
iPhone/AUX button on the unit for over 3 seconds to switch the unit to standby
mode.
Selecting Modes
Press and hold the iPhone/AUX button on the unit for 2 seconds and then release or
press the iPhone/AUX button on the remote control to select between iPhone/iPod mode
and AUX IN mode.
Adjusting the Volume
• Press the VOLUME – / + button to adjust the volume.
• If you wish to switch the sound o, press the MUTE button, the button’s light on the
top panel of the unit will begin to ash. Press the MUTE button again or the VOLUME
– / + button to resume normal listening.
Adjusting the Sound Eect
• Press the BASS – / + button on the remote control to adjust the bass level.
• Press the TREBLE – / + button on the remote control to adjust the treble level.

• The unit cannot show any music information of your iPhone/iPod. Please view the music information
from your iPhone/iPod display.
• For iPhone/iPod Touch, the menu function can be accessed by the remote control only after the iPhone/
iPod Touch unit is unlocked and in Music mode (for iPod Touch) and iPod mode (for iPhone).
You can only view photos using the controls on your iPhone/iPod.
iPhone/iPod Operation
Inserting the iPhone/iPod and Selecting the iPhone/iPod
Mode
This unit can support iPhone, iPhone 3G/3GS and various models of iPod players with
30-pin dock connectors, such as iPod touch 1st/2nd Generation, iPod Classic, iPod nano
1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th Generation, iPod 5th Generation (video), iPod 4th Generation (with and
without colour display) and iPod mini.
1. To select the iPhone/iPod mode, press and hold the iPhone/AUX button on the
unit for 2 seconds and then release or press the iPhone/AUX button on the remote
control to select the iPhone/iPod mode.
2. Insert the Universal iPod dock adapter (not included) into the iPod dock until it sits
rmly in place.
3. Insert your iPhone/iPod into the iPhone/iPod dock.
4. If the iPhone/iPod is connected, the unit will start playback (It will take around 10
seconds to allow the unit to identify the iPhone/iPod). The iPhone/iPod battery will be
start to charge automatically until it is fully charged.
5. Select your desired music, or videos, etc., and play the connected iPhone/iPod as usual.
You can use either the iPhone/iPod or the remote control.
• Press the iPhone/AUX button on the unit or the iPhone/AUX button on the
remote control to start / pause playback.
• Press the LEFT/RIGHT (SKIP ) buttons on the remote control to select
the previous or next song.
• Press the VOLUME – / + button on the unit or the remote control to adjust the
volume.
• Press the BASS – / + button or the TREBLE – / + button on the remote control to
adjust the sound eect bass and treble sound levels.
• Press the MENU button on the remote control to go to the previous iPhone/iPod
menu.
• Press the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote control to select the iPhone/
iPod menu and then press the ENTER button on the remote control to enter the
selected menu.
Control iPhone/iPod menu by Remote Control only
Press the Menu button on the remote control. The iPhone/iPod will go to the previous
menu. Press the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote control to select iPhone/iPod menu;
then press the ENTER button to enter the selected menu.

Video Out Function
When any iPhone or iPod model with video playback function is plugged into the unit,
videos can be viewed on another display screen by connecting the VIDEO OUT socket of
the unit to the desired video display (video connection cable is not included ).
For iPod users
Simply choose the video le you would like to play and the iPod will (depending on your
iPod setting) display “Display on TV? Yes/No.”Choose “YES”if you want to play the le on the
desired video display.
For iPod touch/iPhone users
Simply choose the video le you would like to play and the iPod touch/iPhone will
automatically play the le on the desired video display.
• Please make sure the TV Out function is set to ON in the iPod Video Setting menu, otherwise,
the video signal will not be able to show on the display. For details, please check the iPhone/
iPod Instruction Manual.
• If your iPod video function is not working properly update your iPod software.
The i150W10 was designed for high audio power output.
We recommend that you turn o your iPhone/iPod “Shake to Shue”
setting to avoid the unit accidentally activating it when operating at
high volume levels.
• The unit cannot show any music information of your iPhone/iPod. Please view the
music information from your iPhone/iPod display.
• To avoid damaging your iPhone/iPod or the unit please take care when inserting and
removing your iPhone/iPod from the dock.
• The unit does not support charging 1st, 2nd, 3rd Generation iPods.
Charging Your iPhone/iPod
1. Your iPhone/iPod has an internal non-removable battery. The battery
may need to be charged if it has not been used for a while.
2. You can automatically charge the iPhone/iPod through the unit when
it is in STANDBY / AUX IN / iPhone/iPod mode.

If a problem does occur, it may often be due to something very minor. The following table
contains various tips.

• Make sure mains plug is connected to the mains socket properly
and that it has power.

• Make sure the function is set to iPhone/iPod mode.
• Make sure the iPhone/iPod is connected properly.
• Make sure the proper cradle for your iPhone/iPod is tted to the
unit.
• AUX IN mode may be activated; press and hold the IPhone/
AUX button on the unit for 2 seconds or the iPhone/AUX
button on the remote control again.
• Make sure the iPhone/iPod is switched on.
• Vibrations may have caused the iPhone/iPod to come loose from
the docking station.
Remote Control
The unit doesn’t
respond to the

• Insert new batteries.
• Aim remote control directly towards the remote sensor.
Resetting the Unit
If the system does not respond, the unit may have experienced an electrostatic discharge
or a power surge that triggered the internal computer to automatically shut down. If
this occurs, disconnect the unit from the mains socket and reconnect it again after a few
seconds.
AUX IN Operation
1. Before connecting to the mains socket, use the AUX IN cable (included) to connect
your audio device through the AUX IN socket at the rear of the unit.
2. Connect the mains cable to the mains socket. The unit will enter Standby mode.
3. Press the STANDBY button on the remote control to switch the unit on.
4. To select the AUX IN mode, press and hold the iPhone/AUX button on the unit for
2 seconds and then release or press the iPhone/AUX button on the remote control to
select AUX IN mode.
5. Press the VOLUME – / +, BASS – / +, or the TREBLE – / + button to adjust the sound
level.
6. In AUX IN mode, you may operate your audio device directly for playback features.

• Please inspect the unit for damage after

are in any doubt about it working normally,

Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable
surface and should not be subjected to
vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable
surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near the
unit and should be easily accessible.
• This unit is designed for indoor use only.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature,
either hot or cold. Place the unit well away
from heat sources such as radiators or gas/
electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other
sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked

Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or
product damage, do not expose this unit
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No
