This appliance is for use as an outdoor only camp cooking appliance.
CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no odor.
Using it in an enclosed space can kill you. Never use this appliance in an
enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car or home.
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can cause
injury or death. Read the installation, operating and maintenance instructions
thoroughly before installing, operating or servicing this equipment.

If you smell gas:
1. Do not attempt to light appliance.
2.Makesureapplianceisintheoposition.
3.Extinguishanynearbyame(s).
4.Shutocylinderfuelsupplyvalveifso
equipped, or if equipped with a disposable
fuel cylinder, disconnect cylinder.
5. Leave the area immediately.
6. Allow gas to dissipate 5 minutes.
7. If gas smell has dissipated from the area,
of the appliance, and fuel supply, follow
gas connection procedures.
8. If you smell gas again, follow steps 1-6 and
have appliance serviced.

Features of this product
Heat panel to accelerate the vaporization of gas
As the vaporization of gas progresses during combustion, the temperature
drops, the heating power weakens, and it becomes impossible to use all the
gas in the canister.
Topreventthis,amoderateamountofheatfromtheameoftheburnerduring
combustion is transferred to the canister to accelerate the vaporization of gas,
which maintains the heating power so that all the gas can be used up.
This makes the canister slightly warm, but this is not a problem.
Detachable canister with magnet
The canister is installed using the magnet instead of a lever.
Thismakesitdiculttoinstallanincorrectorfaultycanister.
Pressure sensor safety device
Ifthepressure(temperature)insidethecanisterbecomes
abnormallyhigh(about104ºF/40ºCorhigher),thecanister
isdetachedautomatically,andtheameisextinguished.

Preparations (About the carrying case)
Remove the stove from the carrying case.
●Placethecarryingcaseinalocationinwhichisnotaectedbyheat.(Waituntilthestovehascooledbeforestoringit.)
Never use the stove while it is inside the carrying case, because the carrying case will deform or melt.

Preparation and advance checks
If the top cover is secured, it becomes a simple windbreak. However, this limits the size of usable cookware.
You can also remove the top cover before use.
[Removal method] Attach the top cover by reversing this procedure.
Release the snap locks
(2 locations), and then open
the top cover.
Tilt the top cover to about
45°.
Next, lift the top cover
about 0.4"/1 cm,
set it horizontally.

Release the snap locks (2 locations),
and then open the top cover.
Pull out the stays that are attached
to the front and rear of the top cover.
While lightly pushing the top cover
backward, insert the stays into the
stay-attachment holes.
The stays are hot after use, so allow it
to cool before storing.

Installing canister Install a canister following the procedure below.
Be aware that if a canister is installed incorrectly, unexpected dangers may result.
Before attaching a canister, either remove the top cover or secure the top cover with
the stays. When foreign objects have adhered to the
magnet
If iron scraps or powder have stuck to the
magnet, a gas leak may occur or it may not be
possible to install the canister. If foreign objects
have stuck to the magnet, use adhesive tape to
remove them.

apply a thin coat of vegetable oil to
thetipofthecanister(Part in the
illustrationbelow).

Open the canister cover.
Turn the ON/OFF knob in the “OFF” direction until
it stops.
●IftheON/OFFknobisnotinthe“OFF”position,the
canister installation safety device is activated, and
the canister cannot be installed.
Make sure no foreign objects have adhered to the
magnet.
Remove the canister cap of the canister.

Place the canister on the heat panel and align the
canister notch with the protrusion of container-
receiving guide.
As shown in the illustration to the right, place
your hand near the top of the canister, slide
the canister horizontally, and push it until it ts
completely with the magnet.

When using “Iwatani Butane Fuel”
When the canister has been installed
correctly,thereisagapofabout2.2"/5.5cm
at the back end of the canister.
The canister installation section is
designed to move with some “play”.
This gap does not indicate a problem,
so please use this product with peace
of mind.
Install the canister securely so that there is no gap
between the magnet and canister.
After the canister has been installed, close the canister cover.
Always use a fuel canister labeled as “Iwatani Butane Fuel” or “FORE WINDS Butane Fuel”

Make sure the ame is out completely
●Justaftertheameisextinguished,boththe
main unit and the canister will be hot.
Wait until they cool down.
Remove the canister
●Alwaysremovethecanister.
Otherwise, appliance failures or gas
leaks may occur.
Ignite a ame after the canister has been
removed
●Asmallamountofgasremainsinthepiping
of the main unit. To prevent danger, perform
ignitiononetimetoburnotheremaininggas.
Removing the canister after use After use, always remove the canister, put on the canister cap,
and then store the canister.

While holding the canister, apply a small
amount of force in the direction opposite the
installation direction to remove it from the
magnet.
Put the canister cap on
the removed canister.
Close the canister cover.
Handling after use Make sure that the canister is not inside the canister cover, and then attach the top cover.
Attach the top cover by reversing the
procedure of "Removal method" (page 4).
Close the top cover. Lock the snap locks.

If the snap locks are not locked, the top cover
may open, which may cause stove damage,
burns, or other unexpected accidents.
Storage After the equipment has cooled su ciently, store it in a low-humidity location.
●Whenthestoveisbeingmoved,itcanbestooduptemporarily.
●Werecommendstoringthestovewiththefeetonthebottom.
If the stove will be stored standing up, it will be unstable, so place it
in a space in which it will not fall over, such as between two items.
Furthermore,donotplaceitemsonthetopsection(handleside).
Otherwise, the stove may be damaged.

and the spark electrode is totally dry. To protect against burner ignition problems due to water accumulation, the
storage box also serves as a rain guard when the stove is left outdoors and exposed to the elements.
