Attach the four legs (Part E) using one washer
(Part G) for each leg.
Connect the backup battery to the motor as
shown in Position 1. The backup battery allows
you to return the frame to a at position in the
event of a power outage. Only connect the
backup battery as shown in Position 2 in the event
of a power outage.

Note.
Turn the frame upright. Using
the preinstalled wing nuts, install
the mattress guard (Part D) on
the foot end of the frame.
Some wood slats in the middle
of the frame have plastic sliders.
You can make the frame more
plush by moving these sliders
closer together, or more rm by
moving the sliders farther apart.
If you are using two TwinXL frames together as a
King size bed, attach the frames to each other using
two Connector Brackets (Part F). Each TwinXL frame
comes with one bracket.

Stickers on the motor identify the head and foot
ends of the motor. Be sure the motor is facing the
right direction and line it up with the attachment
point on each motor rail. Push down on the head
end of the motor until you hear it snap into place.
Repeat for the foot end of the motor. Reinstall the
two plastic covers which were removed from the
motor in Step 4.
Slide the two plastic covers as shown to completely
remove them from the motor. Once removed, the
exposed openings will allow you to secure the motor
to the attachment points on the motor rails in Step 6.
