JP Jet Fuel Caddy (Electric)

Thank you for purchasing the JP Jet Fuel Caddy. This product offers a superb
solution to a variety of fuel dispensing requirements. Primarily intended for use
with kerosene, this system can also be used for petrol, glow fuel and smoke fluid.

Assembly instructions
STEP 1
Lightly sand the surface of the two pump mounting plates to
remove the brown char marks left over from the laser cutting
process. Glue the plates together as shown using 5 minute or 30
minute epoxy.
STEP 2
In preparation for assembly, use a sharp knife to
square off / trim the ends of all pieces of Tygon
fuel tube.
STEP 3
Insert the filler nozzle into one end of the Tygon
Filler Tube (900mm).
STEP 4
Unscrew the caddy cap and connect the length of
450mm Tygon fuel tube to the underside as
shown. Fit the 70mm vent tube to the top side of
the cap and, finally, fit the fuel filter to the end of
the 450mm tube.
STEP 5
Fit the free end of the 900mm filler tube to the pump
along with the remaining 180mm piece Tygon tube.
STEP 6
Screw the pump to the mounting plate using the
self tapping screws provided in the accessory
bag supplied with the pump.
STEP 7
Place the ply fuel pump bracket over the neck
of the fuel can and screw the fuel cap on.
Attach the pump’s yellow 180mm Tygon tube to
the free nipple on the fuel cap.
ATTENTION! Double check that the rubber ‘O’
ring is in place between the cap and the neck
of the can and tighten the cap securely for an
airtight seal.
STEP 8
When the pump is not in use always connect the
Filler Tube back to the vent tube as shown to
prevent leakage or any fumes escaping. When
filling, always ensure the vent tube is unblocked
so as not to produce a vacuum within the can.
WARNING!
Once filled this product becomes highly flammable. As such:
● DO NOT smoke in the vicinity of the can.
● DO NOT store in direct sunlight.
● DO NOT overfill.
● Keep away from ALL sources of ignition.
● ALWAYS ensure that the cap is fully tightened and airtight.
