When you get the printer, please kindly read the user manual and refer to the video in the U‐disk in the package before
you use it.
1、Problem: Fail to install the printer driver on PC of windows10 home edition.
Cause: Some version of windows 10 home edition in USA may not work with the driver in the U‐disk.
Solution: Please contact us via support@jadens.com.hk to download another driver compatible with windows 10 home.
2、Problem: The printer isn't discoverable on Bluetooth on your windows PC.
Cause: Mac OS doesn't work with Bluetooth. Some old PC has no Bluetooth function.
Solution: Make sure your windows laptop/PC is enabled with Bluetooth. Then,3.Switch on the printer, long press the top
button of the printer until it beep one. Then labels will keep forward and back for several times, and hold on one place, the
printer’s Bluetooth is open now. if it still doesn't work, restart your computer.
3、Problem: The item doesn't print anything. They label comes in white.
Cause: The label is upside down // Use the wrong paper: art paper
Solution:
1. Ensure the label side is upon
2. Ensure to use the thermal label, not art paper, art paper is not suitable for the thermal label printer.
3. Restart the printer and computer and try again

4、Problem: "FBA print"App crashes and print light
Cause1: Insufficient capacity of mobile phone.
Cause2: Phone system is too old.
Cause3: Incorrect paper size and print setting.

Solution:
1. Ensure the capacity of mobile phone is enough
2.Update your Smartphone to latest version if you are using old version.
3. To obtain the best print quality on smart phones, please upload PDF instead of image to print, the image will be printed
out light.
5、Problem: Can't get it to connect computer via USB cord
Cause1: The printer is not compatible with some computer such as Chrome book.
Solution1: This printer is compatible with Windows 8 or later and MAC OS X v 10.9 or later. If your computer is not
compatible, please use your phone to print. Some windows 7 doesn't work, please update your windows to higher version.
Cause 2: The Bluetooth of the printer is connected to another device
Solution 2: The Bluetooth of printer can only be connected to one device at one time; ensure you have disconnected with
other devices before connect with your computer.
Cause 3: Inaccurate operation
Solution 3:
Ensure your computer is Windows 8 or later, Mac OS X v 10.9 or later, and the computer doesn't connect with other
devices, follow the below directions step by step. (watch the guidance video would be better)
1. Connect power and computer.
1) Connect the power to the printer through the powercord.
2) Connect the printer to your computer through a USB cord.
3) Switch on the printer, long press the top button of the printer until it beep one. Then labels will keep forward and back
for several times, and hold on one place, the printer is ready to print now.
(Make sure these three steps are completed before printing, otherwise, it will fail to install the printer diver. notice: even
though print via Bluetooth, these two steps are also needed too.)
2. Install the seagull driver and printer.
Plug in the U‐disk (in the package) to your computer, find the file “Label Printer Driver Setup BY‐245.exe” and install it, then
follow the guide to install the printer.
3.After setting up the printer, go to “Devices” to check your computer if the printer has installed or not. Print a file to test
it.
6、 Problem: Can't get it to connect computer via Bluetooth.
Cause1: The printer is not compatible with some computer such as Chrome book.
Solution1: This printer is compatible with Windows 8 or later and MAC OS X v 10.9 or later. If your computer is not
compatible, please use your phone to print.
Cause 2: The Bluetooth of the printer is connected to another device
Solution 2: The Bluetooth of printer can only be connected to one device at one time; ensure you have disconnected with

6.After setting up the printer, go to “Devices” to check your computer if the printer has installed or not. Print a file to test

7.Add the Bluetooth on your computer. (The PIN is 0000)
8.Check the outgoing comport of the Bluetooth has matched the printer’s. If not, please change the port of the printer.
9.Change the port of printer to COM3: Find the printer > Click manage > Printer properties > click “Ports” > change the
port to COM3 that match to Bluetooth.
10.After ensuring the port of Bluetooth and printer has been matched, you can remove the USB cable and print via
Bluetooth directly.
6、Problem: Can’t find the Bluetooth or connect with my android phone through Bluetooth or app.
Cause: Bluetooth of the printer or your phone isn’t open & Inaccurate operation
Solution:
1. Print via Smartphone only compatible with Android 4.4.2 or later and iOS 8.1 or later, make sure your phone supports
this firstly.
2. Ensure the capacity of mobile phones is enough.
3. Switch on the printer, long press the top button of the printer until it beep one. Then labels will keep forward and back
for several times, and hold on one place, the printer’s Bluetooth is open now.
4. Open the Bluetooth on your phone, so that the app can connect other Bluetooth.
5. Go to apple store or google store to Install the App "FBA print", connect the printer with the APP's Bluetooth, not the
Bluetooth on your phone, this is the most important thing, connect the phone's Bluetooth will make no sense.
6. Upload PDF file (not image) via social media, print via "FBA print", not "Air print"
7. Operation video and direction are provided in the U‐Disk for easier understanding.

7、Problem: Won't stay connected to computer Bluetooth, can't print from mobile device
Cause: The Bluetooth of printer only can connect to one device to print at the same time.
Solution: The printer doesn't support connecting with two or more devices at the same time through the Bluetooth. When
you want to use Smartphone/windows PC/ IPad to print through Bluetooth, you should make sure the Bluetooth is
connected to your operation device.
8、Problem: Bluetooth can't work with iPad
Cause: Inaccurate operation
Solution:
1. Print via Smartphone only compatible with iOS 8.1 or later, make sure your iPad support this firstly
2. Ensure the capacity of the IPad is enough.
3. Install the App "FBA print", connect the printer with the APP's Bluetooth, not the Bluetooth on your iPad, this is the
most important thing, connect the phone's Bluetooth from the setting makes no sense.
4. Upload PDF file (not image) via social media, print via "FBA print", not "Air print"
5. Operation video and direction are provided in the U‐Disk for easier understanding.

9、Problem: Print over label
Cause1: Incorrect position of printing
Cause2: Incorrect paper size and print density setting, the setting paper size is larger than the actual label size.
Solution:
Note: make sure the setting paper size is smaller than the actual label size.
1. If you install the paper for the first time, or you change the paper size, the printer needs study paper size.
2. Long press and hold on feed button until printer beep one noise, release your finger, printer will automatically study
paper size, when finished, try to print again please)
3. Please press the top button to adjust the paper when you open the cover each time, otherwise it will the content exceeds
the label size or you will have one more blank paper.
4. Make sure the label size, PDF size and print density setting are matched. For example, if your file is A4, but label is 4*6, it
will not work well properly for sure. You need edit the size before you print it.
10、Problem: Labels print light
Cause: Inaccurate setting.
Solution:
Go to “setting” >> ”device” >> ”printer & scanner” >> find the printer “Beeprt‐245‐BY”, click “manage” >> Printing
preference >> Graphic >> choose “None” >> when it finished, print one more time, the label will be more clearly.
