HELPFUL HINTS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The solid brass product you have just purchased has been designed to give you years of beauty and service. It is
important to bring to your attention proper care and maintenance procedures, which will ensure its lasting beauty.
First and foremost, it is important (as it is with any fine piece of jewelry or furniture) that the product be wiped clean and
dry with a soft damp cloth after every use.
Second, under no circumstances should an abrasive cleaner or combination cleaner/polish be used on JADO products.
The abrasive nature of such products will eventually destroy the finish and void the warranty.
In the event of stubborn blemishes shown on the finish, we recommend use of Windex window cleaner with a soft cloth,
but we do not recommend it be used on an everyday basis.



JADO will provide, free of charge, at itÕs sole optio , replaceme t part(s) or product (or if o lo ger available, a comparable
product) to replace those which have prove defective i materials or workma ship.
Proof of purchase (origi al sales receipt) from the origi al co sumer purchaser must be made available to JADO for all limited
warra ty claims. This limited warra ty is o tra sferable. It does ot apply i the eve t of product damage due to the use of other tha
ge ui e JADO replaceme t parts, i stallatio error, abuse, misuse, or improper care a d mai te a ce (whether performed by
a plumber, co tractor, service provider or member of the purchaserÕs household). The limited warra ty excludes damage due to aggressive

TEST INSTALLED FAUCET AND
CONNECTIONS FOR LEAKS
Remove AERATOR from faucet.
With HANDLES (1) in OFF position, turn on
WATER SUPPLIES (2) and check all
connections for leaks.
Operate both HANDLES (1) to flush water
lines thoroughly.
Check all drain and "P" trap connections
for leaks.
Replace AERATOR.

NOTE: MOUNTING HOLES
ARE 1-3/8" D. (35mm)
Seat SEAL (1) into groove in ESCUTCHEON BASE (2). Insert VALVE
SHANKS (3) through mounting hole of sink or mounting surface.
Install SPOUT (7) into VALVE BODY (6) opening. Align the slot in SPOUT (7) with
the threaded hole in VALVE BODY (6). Thread SET SCREW (8) into VALVE BODY (6)
and tighten with a flat blade screw driver to secure SPOUT (7). Insert PLUG
BUTTON (9) into back of SET SCREW (8).
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage
SPOUT O-RINGS (10) when installing SPOUT (7).
Assemble FIBER WASHER (4) and LOCKNUT (5) onto threads of
VALVE SHANKS (3) from underside of lavatory or mounting surface.
Align FAUCET (6) and tighten LOCKNUTS (5) to secure
FAUCET (6) to mounting surface.

DRAIN INSTALLATION
Assembly GASKET (2) WASHER (3) and LOCKNUT (4) onto DRAIN BODY (1).
Tighten LOCKNUT (4) firmly.
Assembly TAILPIECE (5) to DRAIN BODY (1).
Apply a bead of PUTTY to underside of FLANGE on DRAIN BODY (1)
Feed DRAIN BODY (1) down through lavatory. LAVATORY

MAKE WATER SUPPLY CONNECTIONS
Connect water supply to FAUCET (1) with 1/2" IPS
FLEXIBLE SUPPLIES (2) or 3/8" O.D. BULL-NOSE RISERS (3).
Use wrench to tighten connections.
Do not over tighten. Be careful not to kink copper supply when
bending. Use tubing cutter to cut to proper length.
Loop FLEXIBLE SUPPLIES (2) if necessary to avoid kinking.
