IMPORTANT:
Please read this instruction manual before installing and using this recorder.
1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this Car Event Recorder. This recorder is a device to be installed
in your car and record exterior or interior view.

CAUTION:
Please make sure micro SD card has been inserted into the micro SD card slot properly
before operation. Refer to below instruction to install micro SD card.
4. INSTALLATION OF THE RECORDER
When choosing a location to mount the recorder, make sure the recorder is in an area that
will not obstruct your vision while driving.
Choose a Location and Install Power Cable
1. Choose a location on windshield or dashboard of your car, where does not obstruct your
vision.
2. Connect the Cigarette DC plug cable (provided) with the cigarette lighter socket/12V
power outlet of vehicle.
Remark: The cable must not interfere the safe operation of the vehicle.


Mounting the recorder
Before mounting the recorder, clean the mounting surface well.
1. Position the suction cup to smooth surface.
2. Press the suction cap against the smooth surface.
3. Push the locker down to fix the suction mount on the surface.
4. Snap in the recorder to the suction mount.
5. Adjust the mounting arms to suit your viewing angle. Tighten the screw on the mount to
fix the position.
Remark: To maximize the effectiveness of the suction mount, it is recommended the
application is performed under the following conditions:
Surface temperature should be between 21℃to 38℃(70℉and 100℉).
Application below 10℃(50℉) should be avoided.
Application should be avoided in direct sunlight.
Mounting should be protected from exposure to direct sunlight for a period of 24 hours.

6. SETTING AND FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
According to specified button + specified operation, the mode of function is shown as
below:
NOTE: Once the unit gets communication with satellites, the time will
automatically synchronize with Greenwich Time of the actual time zone.
LED Indicator
Power/ Recording LED Red Light for Power good and Fast flash for recording
GPS LED Green Flash for Satellite search
Steady Light for satellites fixed
OFF for no satellite or SD card is not inserted。

Caution: the sequence of the DATE display is YEAR: MONTH: DAY,
Time display sequence: HOUR: MINUTE: SECOND.
8. USING THE RECORDER
1. Date/Time Setting
Press and hold Button for 3 seconds, enter into Date/Time Setting Mode. The
number indicated Year will flash and can be edited using or buttons.
Once the Year is adjusted, press Button again to confirm and save the setting.
Then, enter into the Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second setting in sequence. The setting
method is the same as Year setting, finally press to finish all the adjustment.
2. Event Recording
For event recording, it can be triggered by:
a. Manual: Press to start recording. Press again to stop recording;
b. Automatic: Recording is triggered by the built-in G-sensor.
When there is a sharp acceleration/ deceleration, event recording function is
triggered. The event at 10 seconds before the trigger point and 20~60(adjustable)
seconds after the trigger point will be saved.
When recording is in process, the Red LED blinks. Once the recoding is stopped, Red
LED will stop flash and resume to standby mode.
NOTE:
G-Sensor data watermark, Time watermark are stamped on all recorded files.
Resolution of recorded file is 640 x 480 and 30 films per second.
3. File Playback
File Playback can be achieved by:
a. Reviewing on TV set via AV out Setting
Connecting the device to TV set via AV cable (provided), the device enters into live
display mode. Press to get into playback mode, use and to choose
the event file you want to playback; press to confirm. Press once again to play
the file. During playing, you can pause the playback by pressing once; press
once again to resume.
In playing mode, press and hold for 3 seconds to return to play list; press
and hold for 3 seconds again return to live display mode.
b. Review on PC
Press the SD card softly; SD card is to be ejected from SD Card Slot.
Insert the SD card into your card reader (not included); connect your card reader with
your PC; copy the recorded event files you intend to review into your PC hard disk
drive.

Use the CER player (player installation software is in the disc provided) or other
popular software media players to play the download files.
4. Remote control
The unit comes with remote control. The remote control works as the primary input
method for operation.
There are 4 buttons on the remote control:
a. REC
b. PLAYBACK
c. UP
d. DOWN
Event Recording
When the device is connected with power, the device starts to
record and in standby mode for event recording, press to start
event recording, green LED blinks and this indicates event
recording in progress; press again to stop recording, and the
green LED will back to flash.
File Playback via AV out
At AV out live display mode, press to enter playback mode.
Use and to select event file. Press to confirm and
press again to start play, when playing press for pause.
When playing, press return to play list. Press again
return to live display mode and prepare to record.

9. CER PLAYER
As this unit is designed with built-in GPS module, the provided CER player is embedded
GPS function as well.
1. Player operation
There are three main zones for operation in this player: Menu Bar, Control Bar and
Audio Control.
a. Menu Bar
Contains six menus: File, Setup, Settings, View, Play and Help.
Use File menu to select file you want to review, or exit the player.
Use Setup menu you can change the speed unit between MPH and KM/H.
Select sub menu in Settings menu--play list--to show or hide the play list.
*play list also can be switched by using the left-bottom corner button.
Select sub menu Full screen of the View menu to set the Video frame full screen.
Via Play menu you can play, pause or stop the video playing.
b. Control Bar
Open and control the video playing by using the buttons contained in Control Bar.
c. Audio Control
Use for adjusting the volume.
2. On screen display
a. Map and Driving Route
At left of the window is the map zone, Driving Route is showed in map as blue line,
light-blue tag at the end means the start point, yellow tag at the other end means
the finish point and red tag with “C” in it means the current point where the car is.
*there are a small arrow icon at the left-bottom corner of the window, left click it to
full window the map for wide view.

b. Video Frame and Watermark
Show the image ahead of the car where the car current is. Watermark shows the
time, 3-axis G-sensor value, driving orientation (D), actual coordinate and driving
speed.
* D value indicates the direction that your car heading, 0 for North, 90 for East, 180
for South and 270 for West.
c. Driving Speed and Orientation
Display the speed value and orientation.
d. 3-axis G-sensor Curve
Show the curve of each axis: x indicates left-right, y indicates up-down, z indicates
front-back.
3. Setup
Right side to the Control Bar is a gear-shape button; press it to open the setup window.
Speed Unit: KM/H or MPH
Key trigger record time: define the record time triggered by pressing recording button.
Event trigger recording time: define the record time triggered by event (G-sensor).
On screen display: set watermark on or off in the video image.
G-sensor sensitivity: set the sensitivity for event triggering.
Overwrite: set the record overwriting on or off.
Caution: if set overwrite off. Once the card is full written, the unit will stop recording.
When you finish all setting and click ok to save it, a “setup.ini” configuration file will be
saved in your PC hard disk under the player installation directory. Copy this file in your SD card
boot directory before inserting to the card slot of the car event recorder, then when the unit is
powered on, the configuration file will be written in the flash memory automatically.
Note: Pre-trigger recording time is fixed as 10 seconds.

10. CAUTION FOR USE
DO NOT bend or impact the unit.
DO NOT disassemble the unit.
Please consult technician when the unit is malfunction.
