This guide will give an overview of how to access and navigate the RL1 webpage via an ethernet
connection.

Accessing and Navigating the RL1 Webpage
1. Connect the following:
a) Power cable to the back of the RL1
b) Ethernet cable from the router to the back of the RL1
2. Turn on the RL1

Note: The RL1 and controlling PC need to be on the same
network.

3. Swipe to the Setup page which displays information about the device
4. Network Status will show as Connected
5. The IP address of the RL1 will be displayed
Note: if Network Status reads as Disconnected, please verify
your ethernet connection and try again.

6. Open a web browser from a PC or tablet on the same network as the RL1. Enter the IP address of the RL1
into the search bar. The RL1 webpage should load within a few seconds.

Dashboard
Displays calibration reports:
•Factory calibration by JGR
•Self-calibration (last 3 are stored on the RL1)
Click on the arrow to view the desired report

ØDevice History: displays the RL1 events log

Settings
ØNetwork Settings: the RL1 network parameters can be set automatically or manually
•Automatic: enable DHCP (dynamic IP address)
•Manual: disable DHCP and set parameters (fixed IP address)

Settings
ØUpgrade: go to https://jgroptics.com/downloads/software to find the latest version of the firmware
Note: the power meter firmware is stored on the RL1. If the Upgrade Status indicates that an upgrade is
required, click on the button to the right of it to install the new firmware for each power meter as indicated.
