JIMU ZDrive ADAS Driver Assistant
User Manual

Introduction
JIMU ZDrive ADAS Driver Assistant, based on self-developed graphic processing technology, is capable of reducing collision accidents with
early warning when it detects potential collision dangers during driving, which also helps to improve users’ driving behaviors.
JIMU ZDrive features lane departure warning, forward collision warning, headway monitoring and warning, virtual bumper, front drive-off
warning, cloud radar detector, voice navigation, vehicle recording, in-car WiFi, one-touch snapshot, etc.

Features
Front Collision Warning
When there’s urgent tailgating danger due to car cut-in or front cars’ sudden deceleration, ZDrive will issue visual and auditory alerts.
Headway Monitoring and Warning
When your vehicle is too close to cars ahead, ZDrive will issue visual and auditory alerts. It works when car speed is above 4oKm/h.
Lane Departure Warning
When your vehicle drifts out of current lane without turn lights on, ZDrive will issue visual and audible alerts. It works when car speed is
above 5oKm/h.
Virtual Bumper
Virtual Bumper is designed to warn drivers of unintentional forward moving during a traffic jam, reducing the incidence of non-fatal “fender
bender” accidents in low speed environment.
Front Drive-Off Warning
When the vehicle in front of your car starts to move forward in a traffic jam or at the traffic light, ZDrive will give alerts if your car stays still
because of your inattention.

Preparation
Before the installation, you are suggested to :
•Read this instruction
•Download the ZDrive APP in advance
•Find a car parked on a flat road with clear lane lines, and then park your car behind it with 3~5 meters distance.
Device Binding
Before install the device, you have to activate it following these steps :
1) Search “JIMU ZDrive” on Google play / App Store to download ZDrive App.
2) Register the app, and log in.
3) In the settings, find My Device, click to bind the device.
4) Input the IMEI / SN number, click on Bind. (SIM card activation is optional)

Device Installation
1) Insert SIM and TF card
2) Main Unit and Base Installation
Install the tubular spirit level on the base, and then fix the base to the middle of the windshield, as high as possible ,but ~4cm gap
to the top is suggested to be reserved for future uninstallation.
•Make sure the base is in horizontal with the help of spirit level, and then take the level down.
•Use lens cleaning paper to clean the camera lens, then close the Main Unit bottom to the base, slide down to fix it on the base.

3) Display Unit Installation
Take off the sticker, and put it at a proper location that not influence drivers’ sight and the power cord could be properly connected.

4) Smart Sensor Installation
Open the back cover, put the battery in, and then place the sensor on the steering lever.
Make sure the sensor is on the top side of the lever, and the button is on driver’s side instead of passenger’s side.

5) Line Layout
Connect the main unit, and display screen, and power them on, then you will see a red dot on the bottom of the screen; lights on main unit
turn to blue.

6) Device Connection
Open ZDrive APP, click on【device connection】: select JIMU_XXXXX WiFi, and the default password is 123456789 if you’re prompted to
input one.
