1. Introduction
JCR 110 is an intelligent solution that provides safe, convenient and
smart driving experience to stay connected with your car and with your
family while on the go.
This ground-breaking solution empowers you to effectively monitor
your car's health, location in real time, driving behavior, provides real
time alerts & notifications, In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot (Connects up to 8
devices) and various other smart features.
You can access all these features and information there-in on your
smart phone or on your laptop/tablet/PC.

2. Safety Guidelines
Please read the safety precautions before using the device.
1. Do not throw or drop the device. Handle it carefully.
2. Do not try to disassemble or reassemble the device.
3. Do not expose your device to moisture or water.
4. Keep the device out of children’s reach.
5. Do not dispose your device in fire.
6. Do not dispose your device with the regular waste.

4.1 OBD II Port Location
Location of OBD II port varies as per vehicle make and model. The
image below shows probable locations (A/B/C/D/E/F) of the OBD II
port.
Please visit www.jio.com to check the OBD II port location of your
vehicle. If you are still unable to locate the OBD II port, please try to
connect with car manufacturer to confirm the OBD II port location.

4.2 Connecting Device to Vehicle
Follow the steps mentioned below to complete the installation:-
1. Download “JioAutoConnect” App from PlayStore / Appstore.
2. Register on the App using Registered Mobile Number (RMN).
3. Add your Vehicle details as requested on the App.
4. Always ensure that car ignition is switched OFF while plugging in
the device.
5. Connect the device to the OBD II port present in your vehicle and
switch vehicle ignition ON.
6. The LTE indicator LED should turn Red when connected with OBD
II Port. Once the signal stabilizes, the LTE indicator will show GREEN
or BLUE to show good signal strength.

7. Resetting Device
Please note that this process will reset JCR 110 to default settings
and clear all users' data (e.g. Wi-Fi Service Set Identifier (SSID) /
Password will reset to default settings).
To reset your device, follow the steps below:-
1. Ensure that the device is plugged into the OBD II PORT while
performing the reset. Then switch “ON” the vehicle engine. The LTE
LED on the device should be in “ON” status.
2. Find Reset button which is a small hole near the SIM slot.
3. Insert SIM pin into the Reset button and press for 5 seconds.
4. JCR 110 will take few minutes to reboot.

8. Manage your Device
You can change the network name (SSID), password and other
settings related to device using Web Configuration Utility
1. Connect your JCR 110 to OBD II port in your vehicle (while the
vehicle ignition is off).
2. Turn on the ignition of your vehicle. The LTE LED on the device
should be in “ON” status.
3. Connect your computer/ smart phone to JCR 110 Wi-Fi (Default
SSID and password is mentioned on the back of the device box).
4. Type URL (http://jiocarfi.local.html) in the address bar of the web
browser and press enter.
5. Use “administrator” as username and “administrator” as password
and then click login to access the homepage of Web Configuration
Utility.
6. Navigate to Wi-Fi settings under the Settings tab.
7. Change your SSID and password as per your convenience and
submit the changes.
Note : You can customize the device through the Settings page of
the utility. Please keep a note of your default SSID and password
printed at the back of the box for future references.

9. Precautions
Please do not pull the device out of OBD II port during reset process,
or the device will be damaged and cannot be recovered any more.
10. For Fast Support
i. Account Login issue
Please call Jio Customer Care for help.
ii. User cannot establish a Wi-Fi connection
iii. User is connected with JCR 110 but not able to access
internet
• Please check that the Wi-Fi LED is in “ON” status (Blue) on your
JCR 110.
• Refresh the network list in Wi-Fi Settings on your Smart phone
/ Laptop/ Tablet and select the correct SSID of JCR 110.
• Type in the correct Wi-Fi Password when trying to connect
the device.
• Please check if the user is connected to JCR 110
SSID (Wi-Fi LED is Blue and slow blinking).
• Make sure your SIM card is properly inserted. (LTE LED is Green

11. FAQs
i. How to locate OBD II port inside the car?
To locate the OBD II port inside your car, please visit www.jio.com.
Please enter your car details in the form of Car Make and Car Model.
Based on the information provided, you will get OBD II port location
inside your car. In case you are still unable to locate the position,
please contact your car manufacturer.
ii. How to use the device?
Please make sure your car is in “Ignition OFF” state. Find out the OBD
II port location inside the car. Plug the device onto the OBD II port.
Now start the car engine. (Ignition ON). Wait for 3-4 minutes till all the
3 LEDs stabilize. Now your device is ready for use.
iii. What to do if I am unable to login into the app?
Please make sure, you are entering the same Registered Mobile
Number (RMN), as provided at the time of device purchase. If the
problem still persists, please contact customer care.

iv. How to recharge the device with Jio plan?
If the existing plan on the device has expired, then please click on the
“MyPlan” tab in hamburger menu. Select the vehicle you want to
recharge. Please follow the procedure on that page and complete the
recharge.
v. How to check whether the device is in good network coverage
area?
Please turn on the car engine and let the LED stabilize. If the LTE LED
is green / blue then the device is in good network coverage area. If
the LTE LED is red / red fast blinking then you are in weak / no
network coverage area.
vi. How to check whether the Wi-Fi is working on the device and
if somebody is connected on the Wi-Fi?
Please turn on the car engine and let the LED stabilize. If the Wi-Fi
LED is blue solid then Wi-Fi hotspot is properly working on your
device. If the Wi-Fi LED is blue slow blinking then a certain device is
connected on the Wi-Fi hotspot.

Product and its electronic accessories (e.g. USB cable)
should not be disposed of with other household waste. (This
product is RoHS compliant).
12. Device Care and Maintenance

70℃

• Comply with all safety warnings and regulations regarding mobile
device usage while operating a vehicle.
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Certification

THIS DEVICE MEETS INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR EXPOSURE
TO RADIOWAVES.
Your device is designed as to not exceed the limits for exposure to
radio waves recommended by international guidelines.
The guidelines were developed by CE and include a substantial safety
margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age
and health.
The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measurement known
as the Specific Absorption Rate or SAR.
The highest SAR values under CE (Standards of ANSI/IEEE

C95.1:1999; IEC62209-2:2010; EC 62479:2010) guidelines for this
device model are:
