INTRODUCTION
We thank you for trusting us. We have worked hard to oer you
and your cat(s) the best product and service.
This guide will lead you through the necessary steps to install your
Catspad dispenser, synchronize it with the Catspad app, change
the Catspad filters every month and clean it.

1) FIRST USE OF THE CATSPAD DISPENSER
TUTORIAL : First use of the Catspad dispenser
Step #1: Turn on the dispenser
1 - Make sure the drain plug under the water tank is tight.
2 - Place your feeder in its final placement.
We recommend you place your Catspad dispenser within a limited range of
your WiFi router: 100 feet in open space, or 30 feet if there are obstacles such
as walls.
3 - Plug in the device. The dispenser must be connected to a ground plug
4 - Turn it on by pressing I on the 0/I switch.
5 - When the Catspad dispenser lights up, go to step 2.

Step #2: Placing the food bowl
TUTORIAL : Place the food bowl
1 - Place the food bowl on the black plate with the hollow part on the right side.
2 - Slide the bowl from left to right
until you feel it is secure.
3 - Gently pull the bowl towards
you until you feel a resistance.
4 - Carefully lift the right side of
the bowl : it is secure if it stays in
place.
CAUTION. As part of your daily routine, before placing the food bowl,
check that there is no food waste in the area around the food bowls. This
may damage the weight measurements.
Step #3: Set up the Catspad filter
1 - Remove the Catspad filter from its air sealed sachet.
2 - SOAK the filter in water for 3 to 5 minutes to acti-
vate. Some small particles may escape from the filter,
this is normal and safe.
3 - RINSE the filter thoroughly for 15 seconds.
4 - In the water fountain area:
- lift the small cover with the notches placed on its left,
- place the filter on the grid.
Caution, the flat side of the filter should be facing up.
5 - Replace the cover, making sure the notches are set at their places.
The filter should be changed every 30 days or sooner if multiple pets are using
the fountain.

IMPORTANT. Do not use the Catspad filter with hot water. Do not use the Catspad
filter with micro-biologically unsafe, or unknown quality water without adequate
disinfection.
Step #4: Placing the water bowl
1 - Locate the 3 notches under the water bowl and on the cover to set the
bowl in the correct position.
2 - Place the water bowl in its location.
3 - Carefully slide the bowl to the right to lock it.
Step #5: Add the Catspad dispenser to the Catspad app
1 - Download the Catspad app.
2 - Create your user account.
3 - Follow the directions on the Catspad app to add the Catspad dispenser to
your user account.

2) DOWNLOAD THE CATSPAD APP

Download the app directly from the App Store.

3) STARTING THE CATSPAD APP
Follow the instructions on the app until the Catspad dispenser is connected to
your home WiFi network.
TUTORIAL : Use the Catspad app
CAUTION, make sure that the Catspad dispenser is switched on
and connected before filling the food and water storage containers.
3.1 FIRST USE
Check the WiFi frequency of your home network. The Catspad dispenser
operates on a 2.4GHz home WiFi network only. If you have a 2.4GHz / 5GHz
paired frequency, you will need to separate the two frequencies (your carrier
can help you do so).
Option #1: Your are the main user
1 - Download the Catspad app.
2 - Open the Catspad app.
3 - Create your user account.
4 - Click on the confirmation link received by email.
5 - Go back to the Catspad app.
6 - Log in with your credentials.
7 - Click on “Connect the Catspad”, follow the procedure on the app then
validate.
CAUTION. When you connect to the Catspad network, choose the
WiFi network that starts with «Catspad-...». The password is the
name of the Catspad network (which starts with «Catspad-...»).
8 - Check the “Safety mode” that opens automatically. In the case of power fail-
ure, your Catspad dispenser will work according to daily distribution schedules.

Safety mode
The Catspad dispenser activates its safety mode:
• In the case of a general power outage: you will receive a notification
informing you that the internet connection has been lost.
• In case of malfunction with the charger or if the charger is unplugged, you
will receive a notification informing you that the Catspad dispenser runs on
its battery and that the internet connection has been cut o.
The emergency mode does not allow you to control the Catspad dispenser
from the mobile app or detect cats. The dispenser will therefore work using
the schedule mode for the distribution of dry food. It is important to create a
Schedule for the safety mode. Before each distribution, the water fountain
will activate for 25 seconds. As soon as the electricity returns, the dispenser
will regain all features.
9 - Add distribution Schedules for the safety mode. You are limited to 15 dis-
tributions of 15g maximum per day.
10 - Click on “Finish”.
11 - Check the Calibration that opens automatically.
12 - Please follow the steps to calibrate the food stock and the food bowl.
13 - Click on Finish.
Filling the dry food and water
containers
1 - Fill the dry food into the food container.
2 - Press down on the fitting lid to ensure
the food container is airtight. This way, the
food will stay perfectly fresh.
3 - Fill the water tank slowly through the hole of
the water bowl.
Caution, you must fill at least 2L (70 oz) of wa-
ter.

Option #2: You are not the main user
If you are not the main user, you can connect to the Catspad dispenser. Please
follow the next steps:
1 - Click on on the top left corner and on .
2 - Enter the serial number of the Catspad dispenser that you can find on the
label on the back of the product (CD1xxxxxxxxxxx).
3 - Confirm.
3.2 ADD A CAT
Option #1 : Manually
1 - Click on on the top left corner and on .
2 - Click on “Add a Cat”
3 - Complete your cat’s profile.
Be careful, to correctly register your cat, it’s necessary to enter all the request-
ed information, except the profile picture which is optional.
Detect the Catspad collar tag by approaching it to the Catspad dispenser.
4 - Save and quit.
Option #2: Detecting thanks to the Catspad collar tag
When your cat approaches the Catspad dispenser, it detects her Catspad
collar tag. You will receive a notification asking you to add your cat to your
account. You will then be able to create her profile.

4) DAILY USE OF THE CATSPAD APP
4.1 CAT MENU
1 - Click on on the top left corner and on .
2 - See your cats’ profiles.
3 - Click on the desired profile.
4 - Access your cat information :
• Age, weight, sex, breed, microchip, sterilized/not
• Daily, monthly and yearly consumption.
If your cat wears a collar tag, follow your cats’ consumption per week, month
and year. Share their eating habits with their veterinarian to identify any
health problems.
5 - Modify, if you wish, the profile of your cat at the bottom of the page.
4.2 CATSPAD DISPENSER MENU

There are 2 ways to distribute dry food: on demand and schedule. To switch
from one mode to another, press the button.
1 - On demand mode:
- To dispense the programmed dry food when your cat approaches
• Press “Add”
• Select the cat
• Press “delivered quantity”
• Enter the quantity you want to dispense when your cat
approaches > Press “Ok”
• Press “Daily limit”
• Enter the maximum amount per day you want to dispense
> Press “Ok”
• Press “Save & Quit”
- To temporarily disable food distribution for a cat, press .
Be careful, your cat will no longer be fed when she approaches the dispenser.
- To edit or delete the food distribution for a cat, press
2 - Schedule mode:
- To dispense at regular hours the programmed food:
• Press “Add”
• Press “delivered quantity”
• Enter the quantity you want to dispense when your cat
approaches > Press “Ok”
• Press “Distribution time”
• Enter the time at which you want the food to be dispensed.
The distribution will take place every day at the same distribu-
tion time > Press “Ok”.
• Press “Save & Quit”.

3 - Drop food mode:
- To instantly dispense food with the button :
• Enter the quantity you want to dispense when your cat approaches
• Press “Save & Quit”.
WATER MENU
There are 2 ways to dispense water: on demand and schedule. To switch from
one mode to another,
press the button.
1 - On demand mode:
Choose the «On Demand» mode to dispense water for 20 sec-
onds when the cat shows up. Once the cat is no longer detect-
ed, the water activates for 10 seconds to refill the water bowl
2 - Schedule mode:
The water consumption of the cat is not monitored in the schedule
mode SCHEDULE . Enter a fountain activation time range that
should last a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 24 hours.
During this time, the fountain will be activated 30 seconds every
10 to 30 minutes, as desired.
3 - Drop water mode:
To instantly activate the water fountain for 30 seconds, press the
button.

• Change the color of the light in the water tank
• Change the WiFi network
• Rename your Catspad dispenser
• Calibrate the food bowl and its reserve
• Add or delete a Catspad dispenser

Calibrate the food bowl
In order to supply precise information about food intake, we recommend you
calibrate the food bowl once a week.
NOTIFICATIONS
Be informed in real time of what your cat is getting up to and what the Catspad
dispenser has to say. In case of an issue, this is also where you will be notified.
4.3 USER MENU
On this page you can modify your personal information.
Remember to update it if it changes. To sign out of your ac-
count, press Disconnect.
4.4 BATTERY MAINTENANCE
In case of a power outage, the Catspad dispenser will work thanks to the
battery. To be eective throughout the life of the product, it is necessary to
maintain it every month. This battery maintenance lasts 12 hours and runs from
midnight to noon. You will receive a notification once a month at noon asking
if you want a maintenance to take place this day. After 3 refusals, an automatic
maintenance will take place. The dispenser will continue to operate normally
during this maintenance, but it must stay plugged into a power outlet.

5) MONTHLY MAINTENANCE OF THE CATSPAD DIS-
PENSER
We recommend that you clean the Catspad dispenser once a month. Caution,
do not use corrosive products or products harmful to the health of your pet.
Turn o the power and unplug the power cord.
5.1 Change the Catspad filters
The Catspad filter must be changed:
• once a month if it is used by one cat
• twice a month if it used by 2 to 3 cats.
If this is not done, it may result in the cancellation of the warranty. The Catspad
filter is specifically designed for the Catspad dispenser. Do not use other filters.
Do not use the Catspad fountain without a filter or with a clogged filter. This
may result in malfunction or premature failure of the water pump.
5.2 Clean the Catspad dispenser
1 - Carefully remove the food and water bowls.
2 - Clean the outside surface of the dispenser with a wipe or a soft, slightly
damp cloth.
3 - Eliminate the particles as much as possible.
4 - Clean the dish area with a wipe or a soft, slightly damp cloth.
If you notice limescale deposits on the water fountain, you can use a mixture of
water and white vinegar to soak the fabric.
5.3 Clean the food and water bowls
Wash the bowls by hand with a sponge and dish-washing liquid.

5.4 Clean the water container
Drain plug
Make sure the dispenser remains horizontal. Do not tilt or return the
dispenser because water might damage electronic components.
1 - Drain the water from the tank over a sink by unscrewing the drain
plug.
2 - Unscrew the water tank with the supplied Allen key (5
screws). To do this, place the dispenser on a flat surface, without
bending it or turning it over, if possible on the corner of a table.
CAUTION, do not lose the supplied Allen Key
which is adapted to the dimensions of the catspad dispenser.
3 - Wash the water tank with a sponge and dish-washing liquid, then rinse.
4 - Also clean the water pump pipe in order to avoid the development of
bacteria.
5 - Replace the tank by tightening the 5 screws without forcing them and the
drain plug.
For two or more cats, as well as in hot weather, clean the water tank more
often.

5.5 Clean the food container
We recommend cleaning the Catspad dispenser once a month when the food
supply is empty.
Make sure there is no more dry food in the stock or in the dispensing
screw.
TUTO : How to empty the dry food container
1 - Remove the last of the dry food from the
stock by hand.
2 - Enable a “drop food” with the app to empty
the dispensing screw.
3 - Take out the food stock from the Catspad
dispenser by gently pressing the Catspad logo
on the front of the container.
4 - Gently vacuum inside, including the 4
apparent holes, to eliminate leftovers of dry food.
5 - Wash the food container with a sponge and
dish-washing liquid, then rinse and dry.
6 - Replace the food container.
5.6 Calibrate food bowl
After cleaning the Catspad dispenser, remember to always calibrate the food
bowl through the Catspad application:
1 - Press on the top left corner and
2 - Press Calibrate to ensure that the bowl can provide correct information.
