Beforeusingyourkettleforthersttime,makesureitisthoroughly
clean.Fillthekettletothemaximumlevel,boilthewaterandpourit
away. Do this twice. Wipe down its outer surfaces with a damp cloth.
Note: The kettle’s maximum capacity is 1.7L.
1. Placeyourkettleonaatsurface.
2. Takeyourkettlefromitsbase.Openthelidbypressingtherelease
button,thenllthekettletothedesiredlevelandclosethelid.
Thewatershouldbebetweentheminimumandthemaximumll
levels.Ifthereistoolittlewater,thekettlewillswitchoffbeforeboiling.

Note:Donotllbeyondthemaximumlevelaswatermayspurtfrom
thespoutwhileboiling.
3. Placethekettlebackonthepowerbaseandclosethelid.
4. Plugthekettleinandswitchiton.Thekettlewillstarttoboil.Itwill
switchoffautomaticallyoncethewaterhasboiled.Ifyouwanttouse
it again, you will need to wait 30 seconds. To stop the water from
boilingatanypoint,simplyswitchoffthekettleorliftitfromitsbase.

Note:Ensurethattheswitchisnotobstructedandthelidisrmly
closed.Thekettlewillkeepboilingiftheswitchcannotrelease,orifthe
lid is open.

5. Liftthekettlefromthepowerbaseandpourthewater.

WARNING! Hot water and steam can scald skin. Do not open the lid
whenthekettlehasjustboiledorwhilethewaterinsideisstillveryhot.
Pour the water carefully.
6. Thekettlewillnotre-boiluntiltheswitchispressedagain.
Thekettlemaybestoredonthepowerbase.
