normalandwillnotcontinue.Runthetoasteronceortwiceandallow
ittocoolagainbeforeusingittotoastbread.
1 Plugthepowercordintotheoutlet.
2 Setthecolourcontroldialtoyourdesiredtoastcolour.Thereare
seven settings, from the lightest to the darkest level of toasting
(seeDiagram1).Toachieveagoldencolour,setthedialinthemiddle.

Note:Toastingasingleslicewillrequirealowersettingthantwoslices.
Ifyouareusingthetoastermorethanoncecontinuously,laterslices
willtoastmorequicklyasthedevicewarmsup.
3 Pressdownthecarriagehandleuntilitlatchesinplace.The‘Cancel’
lightwillcomeonandtheappliancewillbegintoasting.Note:The
carriagehandlecanonlybelatchedwhentheapplianceispluggedin.
4 Oncethebreadhastoastedaccordingtoyourchosensetting,the
carriagehandlewillpopup(seeDiagram2).Youcanpressthe
‘Cancel’buttonatanytimetostoptoastingbutdonotattemptto
liftthecarriagehandletoendtheprocess.
5 Totoastfrozenbread,rstpressthe‘Defrost’button,thensetthe
colourdialtoyourdesiredlevel.
6 Totoastonlyonesideofasliceofbread,setthecolourlevel,then
pressthe‘Reheat’button.Theindicatorlightwillcomeonandthe
toastingprocesswillcontinueasusual.
7 Toensureauniformbreadcolour,wait30secondsbeforetoasting
againsothatthecolourcontrolcanreset.
