Installation Instructions for
JTopsUSA Soft Top Boot - Black (07-18 Wrangler JK 4 Door) (Item J104029)
Installation Time: 10 Minutes or less
Tools Required:
None
This boot is easier to install if you take your time and neatly fold your top as shown.
Installation Instructions:
1. Place your top boot in the sun to allow it to expand while you are lowering and folding your top.
2. If you haven’t removed your windows, do so now. Then carefully fold your top pulling the fabric away from the
bows. (It is easier with 2 people.)

3. Open the tailgate and release the rear corners. Lower the top, again pulling the fabric away from the bows.
4. Lower the frame and your top should look like this.

5. Grab the fabric from the bottom and fold up over the front frame. Fold the latches in the closed position so they
don’t poke the top fabric.
6. Slide the boot over the folded top starting at either side and working across.

7. Make sure the flap is in the front hanging down.
8. Grasp the strap locks and unlock them.

9. Then pull the straps out.
10. Reach under the boot and fasten the center strap. Leave it unlocked and loose at this time.

11. Tucking the front flap in at the bottom as you work across, fasten the other two straps.
12. Now tighten the three straps tucking the front flap in as you go. Leave the buckles unlocked.

13. You can now stand the top up.
14. Finish tucking in the fabric, pull the straps tight and engage the locks.

15. If you are going to install a JTopsUSA or other brand Tonneau Cover now is a good time while the top is standing
up.
16. Lower the top and you’re done.
