TRANSMITTER FUNCTIONS

PRECAUTIONS DURING BATTERY CHARGE
1. During charge, place the battery and the charger in an area that is dry, ventilated, and away
from intense heat sources or ammable products.
2. During charge, disconnect and remove the battery from the Spaceball. It is important that an
adult supervises the battery charging process to prevent accidents.
3. Do not charge the battery right after ying. Wait until the battery has cooled down. Otherwise, it
may swell or even burn and explode.
4. Make sure to use the original USB charger supplied with the Spaceball. When you have used the
battery for a long time or notice that it is somewhat swollen, replace it.
5. A battery that is not used for a long period will lose its charge.
6. Frequently charging or discharging a battery shortens battery life.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
1. The battery must be placed in a dry and ventilated area at a room temperature between 18 and
25° C.
2. In order to extend battery life, avoid making repeated charges or excessive discharges.
3. When storing the battery for a long time, charge the battery rst and store it with at least 50-60%
of the total allowed charge.
4. If you are not going to use the battery for more than a month, it is highly recommended to
measure the battery voltage every month to ensure that it does not drop below 3V.
HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY
Est. 30 min.
To replace the battery, hold the Spaceball with two ngers while using your other hand to remove it.
Insert your ngers between the guards, hold the battery between your thumb and forenger and pull
it out. Try not to pull the cable, as it may break. Connect one end of the charging cable (included)
to the computer's USB port, and the other end to the Spaceball battery. If the red light comes on, it
means the battery is charging properly. When the light has turned off, the process is complete and
the battery is fully charged. Estimated charging time: 40 minutes.
WARNING: Batteries other than those supplied by the manufacturer are not recommended.
PLACING THE CHARGED BATTERY IN THE SPACEBALL
First insert the battery into the protective sphere of the Spaceball. Then connect the battery cable to
the Spaceball and, once connected, insert the battery into the battery compartment.

9
We tried to make a transmitter that would work for right-handed and left-handed people, but it
was impossible and nally we were only able to make it for right-handed people. Therefore, if you
decide to use it on your left hand, you will nd that the ight is much less intuitive and the controls are
somehow "inverted." As of this point on, all the explanations are taking into account that the controller
is being used in the right hand.
First, place the transmitter between your thumb
and the forenger, placing the charger part in the
direction of the tip of your ngers (as shown in
the picture).
Now move the controller a little until you feel it in a comfortable position and reach the joystick
well. Make sure you can move the joystick in all four directions. Reposition the ribbon to the new
position and tighten it to set the optimum position of the controller in your hand.
Then insert the tape through its hole and tighten it
slightly.
HOW TO ADJUST THE TRANSMITTER AND THE BELT
1. Connect the battery cable to the drone power input. Insert the battery into the bottom compartment
of the Spaceball and be extra careful with the housing.
2. Activate the on/off switch on the Spaceball and the lights will start to blink, rst quickly and then
more slowly, switching between red and blue.
3. Place the transmitter in your right hand and tighten the strap. Use the on/off button. The red light
on the transmitter will turn on and start ashing.
4. When the transmitter and Spaceball light stop blinking, it means they are correctly synchronised.
Your Spaceball is ready to take off.
TIP: Make sure your Spaceball is on a at horizontal surface during the synchronisation
procedure, so the ight is stable.
SPACEBALL AND TRANSMITTER SYNCHRONISATION

FROM THE GROUND TRHOW AND PLAY
Slide the joystick down to make the
Spaceball take off while it is on the ground. Press 2and launch the Spaceball into the air
and it will start ying automatically.
FLIGHT ENVIRONMENT
Once synchronised, it's time to start up your Spaceball.
START-UP PROCESS

Although it can be used outdoors, we recommend using Spaceball indoors as wind can destabilise
ight and make controlling the toy difcult. When used outdoors, do not y in adverse weather:
Extreme cold and heat may damage Spaceball components.
When ying indoors, be especially careful with items that may break if the Spaceball hits them. Place
the basket in an obstacle-free area and try to clear it before you start playing.
Place the basket away from corners (on a table, for example) since a
blow on a corner could break the black protection hoop.
ATTENTION:
If you need a spare part for your drone, ask at your usual point
of sale or at

Press the joystick like a button. While pressing the joystick, tilt your hand back and forth
to make the drone y up or down.
Press the joystick 1as if it were a button. While pressing the Joystick, tilt your hand to the
right and left so that the Spaceball rotates on its axis in each direction.
Without pressing any buttons, tilt your hand forward to move the Spaceball forward and tilt
your hand backward to move it backwards.

BOUNCES IN THE AIR
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE BASKET
Press the 5joystick button and hold it for 1 or 2 seconds. The Spaceball will start to go up. Now
release the button and the Spaceball will begin to go down in the air, like a basketball bouncing.
Thus, by making short pulses, the Spaceball will go up and down as if it were bouncing in the air.
5
First, insert the black bracket into the basket.
To do this, insert the two protrusions of the
bracket from the back into the holes on the
board, as shown in the illustration.
Next, widen the hole in the bracket with your
ngers to t it to the top of a door, frame or
other vertical element in your home that can be
used to hold the basket.

13
There are several styles to score. The most complicated is the Parabolic Shot, so it has its own
button, to make things a little easier. Even so, it's not easy to score in that style so we'll show you
some simpler ones.
SCORING STYLE
SCORING WITH THE SPACEBALL MANUALLY
HOW TO SCORE A DUNK
3
3
Control your Spaceball and get it as close to the basket as
possible. Place it on top of the hoop and then press the button
3. The Spaceball will begin to land, and since it has the hoop
just below it, what it will do is to score in a very simple way.
Making a dunk is more complicated. What we'll really do is imitate the gesture a basketball player
would make when he/she makes a dunk. Therefore, there are several elements that we need to
coordinate to succeed.
First, approach the basket and
try to place the drone over the
hoop.
Now we have to make the descent movement, i.e. press
the 1button and lower the palm of your hand. If you do
this fast, it'll be like making a dunk.
1

(A) Tilt the palm of your hand downward pointing at the basket so that it begins to move forward.
(B) Then slide the joystick up 5and use it to readjust the path. (If you don't need to readjust it, you
can keep tilting your hand down). The Spaceball will start to accelerate strongly and as it already
has inertia from step (A), it will start to climb up as it moves towards the basket.
(C) When you release the button 5the engines will shut down for a few seconds and the spaceball
will descend rapidly, the drone will make a parabolic trajectory as shown in the images and
hopefully you will score.
The Spaceball will y back again a second or two after you release the button. If the Spaceball
was too high, it may start the engines again before you enter the hoop, thus hindering the
scoring. Only if all the Spaceball goes in will it count as a point in the games we'll explain later.
Practice makes perfect, so be patient and practice. Sooner or later you'll score one shot after the
other.
Get ready to try a shoot at the basket: First, place the Spaceball in front of the basket using the
controls you've learned on the previous page.
PARABOLIC SHOT
VERY IMPORTANT
5
(A)
(B)
(C)
• When placing the basket, try to choose a place that has little furniture or items with corners
nearby. The sphere can withstand knocks very well, but if it hits the corner of a table it can be
seriously damaged. On page 17 you will nd some recommendations for the maintenance
of your Spaceball
• When the Spaceball hits the board, hoop or wall, it usually turns its course or even lose
control. Stay calm and try to put it back in the basket again. You can also press the automatic
landing button, pick it up, and try again without any problem.
• Reserve the emergency button for extreme cases: If it gets tangled in your hair, if it's on the
oor and you can't see the Spaceball, etc. If you press the button in mid-ight, the drone will
plummet and could get damaged.

PLAY MODES
You need: 1 SPACE BASKET ZERO GRAVITY | 1 stopwatch or smartphone | 2 batteries |You can
use any SCORING STYLE
1. Place the basket.
2. Place three markers on the oor (you can use rags, sheets of paper, folders, etc.) at different
distances from the basket.
3. Throw from the position closest to the basket while you start the stopwatch (use a stopwatch
or your smartphone). If you score, you get to throw from the second position. If you also score
from the second position, you move on to position three. To move forwards from one position
to another, it is necessary to have scored on the previous position. Otherwise, you should keep
trying. If you can score from all three positions, stop the stopwatch. Now it's your opponent's
turn to play, the player who manages to score from all three positions in the shortest possible time
wins. You can also set a time limit (3 minutes) and add up the points earned until the time is up:
Scoring at position 1 is 1 point, from position 2 is 2 points, and from position 3, another 3 points.
4. In the case of 1 player, if you have scored 6 points before the 3 minutes have elapsed, you will
have beaten the stopwatch! In the two player mode, you can return to position 1 and try to get
the most points in 3 minutes. Once both scores are added, the winner is the one who gets the
highest number. If both of you have achieved the same points, the best will be the one who has
achieved them in the shortest time. If you are also tied on time, play a new 30-second tiebreaker
round per player.
It is necessary: 1 SPACE BASKET ZERO GRAVITY | 1 stopwatch or smartphone |You can use any
SCORING STYLE
1. Place the basket.
2. The game is similar to the one against the clock, but with a few additional peculiarities.
3. In this case, the SCORING STYLE also counts to score points. Manual style, 1 point; Dunk style,
2 points, and with the Parabolic Shot, 3 points. You can also come to an agreement among the
players and assign the points according to how difcult each SCORING STYLE seems to you. For
example, if you're very good at parabolic shooting but you can't score a Dunk, scoring a Dunk
gives you more points.
4. The rules regarding the time used are the same: You can use 3 minutes each player, or a full
battery each player. In any case, to make sure both players have the same chances, change the
battery at the turn change.
AGAINST THE CLOCK (1 OR 2 PLAYERS)
MAXIMUM SCORER (1 OR 2 PLAYERS)
You need: 1 SPACE BASKET: ZERO GRAVITY | 2 Batteries | SCORING STYLE DUNKS
1. Place the basket.
2. Basket as many baskets as possible in the shortest time possible! ONLY THE FOLLOWING
SCORING STYLE CAN BE USED: Dunk
3. You only get ve chances. The one who gets the most dunks will be the winner.
DUNK CONTEST (1 OR 2 PLAYERS)

You need: 1 SPACE BASKET: ZERO GRAVITY | 1 stopwatch or smartphone | 2 batteries. PARABOLIC
SHOT ONLY
1. Place the basket
2. At the far end of the location you are playing at, place the Space Basket Zero Gravity box as the
reference point for triple shots.
3. Fly the Spaceball at box level and make all the parabolic shots from that position.
4. The complicated thing is that, whether you score or not, you'll have to y back to the starting
point to shoot again using a parabolic shot.
5. Set a specic time period as a limit to try to score the triple shots (1 minute, 3 minutes or the
whole battery) and record the results to try to beat your own record, or compete against other
players.
TRIPLE SHOTS CONTEST (1 OR 2 PLAYERS)
PLAY MODES
You need: 1 SPACE BASKET: ZERO GRAVITY | 2 batteries | SCORING STYLE DUNK
or MANUAL
1. Place the basket.
2. Perform acrobatics and make fast, precise moves while you aim at the basket. For example, you
can try to pass under the basket from left to right and then try to score as if you were holding a
ball in your own hands.
3. Limit the number of shots. For a short competition, 5 shots; for a long competition, 10 shots.
4. Manual scoring will account for less points than a dunk.
5. Play among many and value the most spectacular dunks from 1 to 10 Will you be the winner?
SHOWTIME (1 OR 2 PLAYERS)
Required elements: 2 SPACEBALLS WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE CONTROLLERS | 1 Basket
1. Place the basket.
2. Each player synchronises their own Spaceball.
3. On the count of three, both players start shooting parabolic shots to try to shoot as many times
as possible. It is allowed to use the Spaceball itself to push the opponent's ball and hinder their
shots.
4. Go ahead and add up the points every time you hit the basket. You can play the best of three,
ve or ten shots, or simply until the battery runs out.
5. It is not allowed to block the hoop by placing the spaceball right above it in stationary ight.
Also, if a player places their Spaceball right above the hoop to obstruct the opponent, and when
the opponent tries to score, the two Spaceballs collide and the Spaceball hits the hoop, no point
should be counted. However, if both players are ying over the basket and there is a collision,
and one of the Spaceballs enters the basket, the point is valid and should be counted.
EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF! (2 PLAYERS)

CHECK THE BLACK HOOP REGULARLY
Despite our attempts, we have come to the conclusion that making Spaceball unbreakable is impossible.
However, we have managed to x several problems that arise from repeatedly falling and hitting the
ground.
The orange protective sphere and the black hoop are the elements that stop the blows, and they have
to be exible to cushion the falls and be able to resist them. But at the same time, it is what makes it
more fragile.
In order to prevent deformation of the orange sphere, it transmits the impact energy to the black inner
hoop. That's why nally the Black Hoop is the part that suffers the most. If you look closely, there are
several reinforcements to make it as strong as possible.
After a fall the black hoop may be deformed. Look at it and if you notice it is deformed try to shape it
manually. You have to make it as circular as possible and above all make sure that the propellers do
not rub against the ring.
We've decided to include a spare black hoop in case it breaks due to a fall or it wears after a while
playing.
If you have experience with screwdrivers, you won't have much trouble changing the hoop. Simply
remove the 12 screws from the orange sphere, and then the two screws that x the metal rod to the
black hoop. Replace the black hoop and attach the screws to the rods. Now pay attention and t the
two parts of the orange sphere together and then put the 12 screws back in place.
If you are inexperienced or if anything that is not clear to you from the explanation above, we leave
you with a video in which we explain step by step how to replace the black hoop.
If you hear an unusual noise after a fall, the hoop may have deformed and the propellers may be
rubbing against the hoop. Stop the ight immediately and give the hoop a circular shape.

HOW TO CHANGE THE PROPELLERS
WARNING: Any changes to accessories, including propellers, must be carried out by an adult.
The propellers should be positioned in a specic way, as on this positioning depends how they expel
the airow and, therefore, whether the ight is correct and even whether it takes off or not.
If after a small impact due to which you had to change the propellers, either because they have come
loose or because they broke, you notice some of the following symptoms, it means they have been
placed incorrectly.
• The Spaceball doesn't take off, not even after you apply power to it.
• It raises the nose or the tail, but it doesn't take off. The spaceball moves forwards or backwards but
does not take off.
Pay special attention to the following illustration.
There can't be three identical propellers. There are 2 different types of propellers, and they must be
placed in a cross pattern (as shown in the illustration above).
A. The left front and right rear must be the same. Model A
B. The front right and rear left should be the same. Model B.
Pay attention to the torsion of the propeller of each model presented. The arrows indicate the direction
of the blade drop.
