注意 不意の起動による事故を防ぐため、必ず電源を切ってから行ってください。
1） バーコードリーダー 1を付属のねじ 2、座
金3で取付板 4に取り付けます。
（2 箇所）
2） ミシン本体の中押えカバーの止めねじ 5（2
箇所）を一度外し、取付板 4を取り付け、
再度ねじ止めして、ミシンに取り付けます。

3） 電装ボックスを開けて、
ＭＡＩＮ基板 6の CN50 に中継ケーブル
7を接続します。
4） 電装ボックスから出した中継ケーブル 7を
バーコードリーダー 1のケーブルと接続し、
ミシンについているケーブルクリップ 8及
び付属の束線バンド 9を使用して固定して
ください。

1） バーコード 1は取扱説明書の巻末に添付さ
れたものをコピーして使用してください。
2） 外押えへのバーコードの貼付けについては、
図のようにバーコード読取装置からのレーザ
照射がバーコードに当たるように、押え位置
を調整してください。
（"4-3. 固定対比位置の設定 " P. 5 を参照し
てください。）

バーコード機能とは、カセット識別等の用途で、バーコードを読み取り、対応した縫製パターンに切
り替えて縫製できる機能です。
バーコードの読み取りにより、ミシンメモリ内に保存されたユーザパターン 999 個、パターンボタン
に登録されている縫製データ 50 個に切り替えることが可能です。
使用するためには、AMS-EN バーコードオプションが必要になります。

4-1. バーコード機能の設定
メモリスイッチ K130 では、バーコードモードを選択します。メモリスイッチ Kxxx( レベル 2) の選
択方法は、サービスマニュアルを参照ください。

4-2. バーコード種別の選択
メモリスイッチ K142 では、バーコード種別を選択します。初期状態では Code39 のみ読み取ります。
付録のバーコードを印刷して使用する場合、K142 の変更は不要です。

4-3. 固定退避位置の設定
バーコード機能では、メモリスイッチ K117A、K118Bの固定退避位置座標が有効になります。押
えに貼られたバーコードの読み取り位置に調整が必要な場合に、設定をしてください。メモリスイッ
チ K90 固定退避位置選択を設定する必要はありません。
設定 内容 説明

4-4. バーコードモードを有効にする
メモリスイッチ K130 でバーコードモードを選択すると、モード切替画面にバーコードモードボタン
Cが表示されます。このボタンを押下すると、バーコードモードの ON/OFF を切り替えること
ができます。
ただし、バーコードリーダーが接続されていない、または、接続不良である場合には、モードを ON
にすることができません。

モード切替画面を閉じ、バーコードモードが ON であると、ON 状態を示すピクト Dが表示されます。
設定状態では、バーコード読み取りによる縫製パターンの確認が可能です。画面上のバーコード読み
取りボタン、 Eまたは、押え SW( ペダル ) を押下することで、バーコードの読み取りを行います。
ただし、設定状態での読み取り動作は、原点検索動作以降に有効となります。また、押え SW 押下に
よる押えの動作はありません。バーコードの読み取りのみとなります。設定状態で読み込んだ縫製パ
ターンは、準備状態移行時に破棄されます。


巻末の付録にあるバーコードシートを読み取ることで、対応する縫製パターンに切り替えることがで
きます。切り離してお使いください。バーコードシートは Code39 の規格に対応しています。
Code39 以外の規格でバーコードを作成する場合、下記フォーマットに従って作成してください。
・4 バイト ASCII コード
・" パターン種別 "、" 百の位 "、" 十の位 "、" 一の位 "
D 0 0 1
パターン種別 パターン No.
パターン種別
U または 0：ユーザパターンに対応します。
D または 1：パターンボタンに登録されている縫製データに対応します。
パターン No.
ユーザパターン：No.001 ～ No.999
パターンボタンに登録されている縫製データ：No.001 ～ No.050
種別、No それぞれ、ASCII コードで記述してください。
上記 D001 の場合、0x44 0x30 0x30 0x31 となります。
スタート / ストップキャラクタ等、使用するバーコード規格に従って作成してください。
バーコードは両側の余白が小さいと、読み取りエラーになる場合があります。そのため、両側の余白
はできる限り大きくしてください。巻末の付録にあるバーコードを使う場合には、コピーしてから切
り取り線で切り分けてください。

バーコードリーダーが読み取りを行わない場合、バーコードリーダー側面にある SCAN ボタンを押し
て、レーザーが発光することを確認してください。
SCAN ボタンを押しても発光しない場合、バーコードリーダーが故障している恐れがあります。
発光する場合には、下記のバーコードを 1 → 2 → 3 の順で読み取り、ミシンを再起動してください。

1. Installation procedure
1) Install the bar code reader 1onto the
mounting plate 4using the screws 2and the
washers 3(two locations) which are included
as the accessories.
2) Removethexingscrews5(two locations)
of the intermediate presser cover of the
sewing machine, install the mounting plate 4,
andxwithscrewsagaintoinstallontothe
sewing machine.

the sewing machine.

2. Attaching the bar code
1) Copy the bar code 1attached at the end of
the instruction manual for use.
2) Regarding the attachment of the bar code to
the feeding frame, adjust the work clamp foot
position in a way that the laser beam from
the bar code reader will emit the bar code
as shown in the illustration. (Refer to “4-3.
Setting of the xed escape position” on
Page 5.)
3. Bar code function
Bar code function is a function to read the bar code and to switch to the corresponding sewing pattern
fortheapplicationssuchasthecassetteidenticationetc.
By reading the bar code, switching to 999 user patterns stored in the sewing machine memory and to
50 sewing data registered in the pattern button can be made.
To use this function, AMS-EN bar code option will be required.

On memory switch K130, select the bar code mode. Refer to the engineer’s manual for the selection
methodofthememoryswitchKxxx(level2).

4-2. Selection of the bar code type
On memory switch K142, a type of bar code is selected. In the default state, Code39 only will be read.
When the attached bar code is printed for use, the change to K142 will not be required.

4-4. Enabling the bar code mode
If the bar code mode is selected on the memory switch K130, the bar code mode button Cwill
be displayed on the mode switching screen. If this button is pushed, ON/OFF switching of the bar code
mode can be made.
However, if the bar code reader is not connected or the connection is poor, the mode cannot be set to
ON.

When the mode switching screen is closed and the bar code mode is ON, a pictograph showing ON
state Dwillbedisplayed.Inthesettingstate,asewingpatternbybarcodereadingcanbeveried.The
bar code can be read by pushing the bar code reading button on the screen Eor treading on the
work clamp foot switch (pedal). It should be noted, however, that the reading in the setting state will be
effective after the origin point searching Furthermore, there will be no pressing action by treading on the
work clamp foot switch (pedal). It will be reading of the bar code only. The sewing pattern read in the
setting state will be destroyed when the system moves on to the preparation state.
5. How to use

In the preparation state, trading on the work clamp foot switch (pedal) will initiate the actions of bar code
reading, pattern reading and feeding frame down.
