SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the User Instructions carefully before use!
•New installations and extensions to existing systems must always be performed by a qualified
electrician.
•If you have the necessary experience and knowledge, you may replace switches and wall sockets,
fit plugs, extension cords and lamp holders. If not, you should contact an electrician. Improper
installation may result in electric shock or fire.

DESCRIPTION
1. The motion detector detects movement and switches on the lighting for a preset period of time. An
integral photoelectric cell can be set to turn off the light automatically. This is ideal for the home,
automation or for the purpose of saving energy.
2. The detector has a detection angle of 120° and a maximum detection distance of up to 8 metres.
3. The motion detector can be used with light bulbs or fluorescent tubes.
4. Installation is simple, like changing a switch. Some knowledge of electrical installations is required,
however, or the installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.
OPERATION
Connections
1. Disconnect the power supply before installing the motion detector.
2. Install the frame for the motion detector using a screwdriver (see diagram A).
3. Connect the motion detector as shown in diagram B. Before connecting the motion detector in the
junction box, make sure that there are no visible wires at the connection point.

Adjust the lux value (sensitivity)
The Lux module has an integral photoelectric cell that detects daylight * (+) and darkness It (-). If the
motion detector is to be activated during the day, turn the lux control clockwise + (increased sensitivity). If
the motion detector is only to be activated during the evening/night, adjust the control anti-clockwise -
(reduced sensitivity).
