The TV starts after press the MEDIA button on the panel panel, then the SOURCE
button and select the option TV Fig.1.
Device has function to restore last settings, so it will return to last selected TV
channel or last played Audio-Video
file after startup.
The purpose of this manual is to briefly describe the functions and operation DVB-T
digital TV receiver JMC-03 in the car. The purpose of this manual is to briefly describe
the functions and operation DVB-T digital TV receiver JMC-03 in the car.
The device is intended for RNS-E multimedia systems in AUDI, SEAT.
JMC-03 has two separate modules:
DVB-T module
• Dual-antenna digital terrestrial TV tuner, adapted to work in a car.
Audio / Video player module
• Music and video player which plays files stored on Micro-SD cards and
USB flash.
The device is fully integrated with multimedia system installed in car and is
controlled through buttons from control panel.
After first startup of device the TV station search function should be run to add new
programs to station list. (description: point 3.3). When programs do not have been
added or deliberately deleted on the screen will appear message: "There are no
saved stations".

Warning! When using GPS while driving, please disable the service JMC-03. To do
this, before turning on the GPS navigation choose a radio or other
multimedia source (except TV). If "In the background" will be JMC-03
assets, GPS readings may be incorrect.

• Select and switch TV stations
The upper buttons are used to switch the TV channels "next - previous" .
You can choose any channel from the list on the
screen. Using the main knob we can view list of
available programs and make a choice. Fig. 2.
Information on the currently watched TV program can be displayed two ways:
- After launching the selected channel - at the bottom of the screen
a window will be displayed with a short information
about the current program. Fig. 3
Displaying the window and its duration on the screen
it is set in options - see item 5 (TIME OSD).
- After pressing the button - the window as in Fig.3 will be displayed.
Press the button again - it will be displayed window with "full" information
about current program. Press button or RETURN to exit from INFO and back
to watching TV.
Note: In the case of a weak signal from the
transmitter, information could be not available!

• Searching and memorizing TV stations
To display the program search function TV,
press the SETUP button Fig.4. In the next
steps using the main knob turn the dial to select
SCANNING and confirm the scanning method
MANUAL SCAN or AUTOMATIC (AUTO SCAN) Fig.5.

- Automatic scanning
When the "AUTO SCAN" window is empty
press the SCAN button Fig.6
The selected function will start the "scan" process
all digital terrestrial frequency ranges automatically.
After completing the "scan" the new station list will be automatically saved
replacing the previous list. During the "scan"
process a window is displayed where you can observe the progress of "scanning"
and subsequent attached blocks of programs. SCAN process can be aborted by
EXIT button .
- Manual scanning
The selected function allows you to "scan" the next frequency ranges
individually using the buttons. This function allows you
to add the selected program block to the programs
already existing on the list. To add the selected block
programs to the station list, press the button Fig.6.

• Selecting the Audio / Video player (MEDIA)
To run the Audio/Video player function from the uSD or USB card, please
press the button Fig.7. The button is also used to select current media
USB or uSD Fig.8.9
To return to the TV press the button .

- Operation on catalogs and files
After activating the Media Player function, a window with file browser will show files
and directories stored on uSD or USB medium. In the same time Media Player will
open carrier with last played music or video file. Structure of files and directories
allow to fast browsing and selecting file to play.
Note: Files and directories on uSD or USB for playback must be prepared in FAT format.
Files and directories are displayed in alphabetical
order. Playable songs are switched automatically
on the next after the end of the previous
century within the selected directory.
- Pause, start and "scrolling"
Pressing the main knob Fig.2 - stops / resumes the song
Pressing the buttons - allows you to "scroll"
the song forward or backward.
5.Parameter settings
• Enabling the parameter settings window
To open the parameter setting window, please
press the button on the radio panel.
On the screen the main menu with options Fig.10
will be displayed. selection parameter is done by
turning and pressing the main knob Fig.2 on the
bar illuminated in red.
- SCAN - the option is used to search TV channels in mode
manual or automatic (see point 4).

- Scaling the screen - this option is used to set the image correctly
on the radio screen during the first installation.
The option allows you to move the "center"
image, or change its size Fig.12.
The screen scale function is controlled by
function buttons Fig 13. Press the main knob to switch between
positioning and resizing.
- Other options - submenu allows you to set additional parameters Fig.14.
• OSD TIME - the parameter changes the display time of the bar with information
about TV program after switching on the program, set from 0 to 8sec..
• SYSTEM VOLUME - tthe parameter changes the
volume level coming from JMC-03 to match the car's
system, set from 0 to 10.

- Program management - this option allows you to hide or change the order
displayed programs on the main TV list. With the main knob
navigating, we highlight the program that we want to hide, activate
or move to a different position in the list Fig.11.
They are used to hide or activate the TV program
buttons
To move the program to a different
position press on the selected program
main knob Fig.2 - the bar will be highlighted on red.
By turning the main knob Fig.2 we set the program on the selected one
position. Pressing the knob again, accepts the position.

• LANGUAGE - the parameter allows you to select the
language in which the device displays subtitles and
messages, set to Polish, English, German.
• SYSTEM INFORMATION - the parameter informs about the device software.
