Hexagonsocketboltsarenotdesignedtowithstandan
excessiveapplicationofforce.Whentighteningorundoing
ahexagonsocketbolt,forceshouldbeappliedtothenut
whereverpossibletoavoiddamagingthebolt.
Tighteningandundoing
Turnthenutusingasocketspanner(onlyuseanopen-end
spannerifthereisinsufcientspace),usingtheAllenkey
simplytostoptheboltturning.
Tighteningandundoingwhennonutispresent
Ifahexagonsocketboltisscreweddirectlyintoathread,
theboltmustbetightenedusingtheAllenkey.
EnsurethattheAllenkeyisofgoodqualityandnotworn.

Ifthissettingoptionisinsufcient,thetelescopictubes

1.PushthebackrestcoverAupwardsandremovethe
bolt,washerandnutBonbothsides.
2.PushthepushhandlesCupwardsordownwardsuntil
youreachtherequiredheight.Replacethebolts,
washersandnutsandtighten.

Ifthissettingrangeisinsufcient,usenewpush
handletubes.
Ifthebackrestheightwaschangedconsiderably,a
newbackrestcovermayhavetobeinstalled.

3.Reinserttheboltsintotheappropriateholesonboth
sidesandtightenusingwashersandnuts.
