WHEN CALLING TECH SUPPORT —
PLEASE HAVE THE PHONE SERIAL NUMBER READY
• The SUREphone requires AC power in order to operate.
• COP Mount phones should have no gap between the phone and the fixture.
• To minimize AC and motor noise in the system, always use shielded wire for the
phone line — grounded at one end only.
• Check to see if you need to dial the area code or 1 before the phone number.
• On PBX systems you may have to enter a 9 or 8 followed by a pause () before
the phone number. You may also need to set the timer to “02” or “03” for proper
shutoff.
• If the phone does not shut off automatically (no CPC signal), the phone needs to be
shut off manually by pressing , #, or by using the built in timer (phone feature #4).
